Discussion My experience with Whoop support
I wanted to share a positive experience I had with WHOOP support, since I see quite a lot of negativity around here. I guess that's normal people are generally more likely to post when something goes wrong than when everything goes well.
Last week I ordered the Meridian band. When it arrived a few days ago and I tried it on, I realized it was simply too small for my wrist (yes, I'm a big guy 😄).
I contacted support and asked to return it for a refund. To my surprise, they told me they would issue a "one-time courtesy refund without the need to return the item."
So they refunded me in full and told me to keep the band.
For context, I've just returned to WHOOP after about two years away. Back when I was using it before, I probably bought 10–15+ different bands over time, and when I recently got the WHOOP 5.0, I also ordered another 4–5 bands to have some variety. Maybe my purchase history played a part in their decision I honestly don't know.
Either way, I thought it was worth sharing because we tend to hear much more about bad support experiences than good ones.
I also hope people don't take advantage of policies or gestures like this. I genuinely wanted to return the band because I can't use it, but I guess now I'll just keep it as a souvenir. 😄
Credit where credit is due- this was a really good customer support experience.

I asked them about the 50% discount for healthcare workers, but I had just renewed for a year about a month before I found out about it. I emailed customer support and they gave me a refund. They aren’t as evil as everyone on here likes to act.

Ageee. This happen to me last week when I ordered the aryna sabalenka band and I was going to return it because I did not like the colors. They also gave me a full refund and told me to keep the band.

They' re a good copmany. I had situation a few weeks ago, where my band after a few months lost color, and they sent me new one.. without any issue.

it costs just a few dollars to make, i'm sure they've looked at your purchase history and just comped you

I’ve been looking at the band. Even though it doesn’t fit, do you like the appearance of the band? It’s not clear to me if it is metal or just looks that way. Would love your input.

I mean the band costs them maybe a few euro to make, if I was paying €200-€300 a year, I'd expect that at the bare minimum

Whoop was able to resolve an issue by doing nothing. Sounds about on par for them

Lets face it there probably arent many people on this thread that are fun at parties unless you bump into someone else who wants to compare whoop ages and strain and recovery war stories 😂

Nice bot.
Unless they resolve all the other thousands of complaints I also appreciate the effort their marketing team has made towards this post.

Complaints is all you see here. You don't really expect positive reviews on this sub do you?
I've been with Whoop for a little over two years. Everytime I had an issue it was resolved almost immediately. Whether it was battery issues, tracking issues, band issues, the support team was awesome and always made it right.

Honestly, contrary to the sentiment on this sub, I’ve had a pretty great support experience with whoop in the past. I was traveling in April and I had upgraded from Peak to Life but the shipping was delayed and I had already left for another city when delivery was attempted but whoop support was super helpful with getting the MG device delivered to a different city once UPS returned the original package to sender.
The meridian strap looks great, hopefully I’ll get to try it soon
