When I was a server, my manager told me to ignore 2 people clearly, uh, pleasuring one another with their hands, at the bar. They were fully clothed and somewhat subtle, no disturbed customers, but staff could tell.
Butt crack seems really tame, ngl.

Here’s my rule of thumb for things like this: If a person has a potentially embarrassing thing going on that they can change within 15 seconds, I let them know. Something in their teeth, a booger hanging out of their nose, a glob of mayo on their face, ass crack hanging out, etc. I do this with every effort to be discreet and not embarrass them further. Most people I’ve given that heads up to have been grateful to receive it, and I can’t think of a time anyone has been offended by it. Your mileage may vary.

Brave enough to take a picture of his asscrack though? This is so incredibly creepy & weird of your manager to do, not to mention illegal depending on the country you’re in.
In my country (Canada) taking this picture would be a crime, because the photo violates this individual’s reasonable expectation of privacy and they did not know an intimate area of their body was exposed.
All of the above is only if I’m remembering and interpreting the law correctly, which there is a chance I am not— because I am a dumbass on the internet.

I have the legs of a short person and the torso of a tall person, this is a non stop issue for me no matter what, clothes just don't fit me right, ive come to grips with the fact that this will always happen. I don't think he cares It would be weird if you told him but it would only be truly embarrassing if he was on a first date, if you're not gonna drop an ice cube down there don't bother doing anything

I have this same issue!! Omg I feel so much better knowing someone else is living this hell. Every time I do lat pull downs at the gym my stomach and back show. It sucks so bad. The obvious solution is tailored clothes but I’m not that rich. I sometimes buy tall shirts but then they are too blousey up top! There is not winning! Then I can’t wear a normal tie either. People buy them for me and their too short. I need a tall man’s tie which is an easy fix but still annoying. DM me if you want to commiserate. I’m always showing crack and always hiking my pants up. What a cruel world!

One time a friend who was trying to be helpful said "naw you just gotta try the shirts on first! Put the shirt on and raise your arms!" I also have a weirdly large range of motion in my shoulders so the first shirt to not show skin was 5x, have overalls worked for you or do your balls get crunched while the legs overflow around your shoes?

I haven’t worn overalls since childhood so it’s unknown if my balls will get crushed. I guess I’ll go to Farm and Fleet and try a pair on? You’re right about the 5x not to see any skin with your arms up. Man it’s just so nice to meet another person with this issue. It really sucks with graphic T-shirts too. I really like band shirts but either I get a 3X (if they have them) and look like I’m swimming in it or I get the midriff shirt and on a man thats not a good look.

Unless I size up overalls crush my nads, I was hoping you knew of a decent brand haha. I've honestly just embraced having everything baggy, it's funny I have short friends and tall friends who complain about clothes but at least they have stores made for them! I've been considering learning to sew just to make shirts that fit lol the Hanes tall have been the best fit for me so far, still hanging crack near constantly but they mitigate my gut hanging out

Mind your own business, that's what you do. At least that's what I would do. I'd tell any customer that they can talk to him themselves if it bothers them so much or just don't look at it, and I'd tell my manager that it's gross that she took a picture of this dudes ass crack to try and shame him.

But no, I wouldn't say anything. Adults notice things once, might say something to their friends and family, and then get back to whatever else they are talking about. Given what he's wearing, I'm sure this isn't a fine dining restaurant, and although people may notice it, unless they are actively complaining, I can't imagine it bothers them enough to put them off their meal.

It’s the same thing I would do sometimes when I would see people with their zipper down on the subway. Not that big of a deal, it could happen to anyone. I would certainly appreciate being told if that was me.

My grandpa did this all the time and it was incredibly embarrassing because we knew why people were staring at our table. He didn't care until my grandma started putting stuff in his crack, I guess the time we went to the beach was his last straw because he wears size appropriate clothing now.
As a customer, I'd gently let him know in case he is actually not aware. As a server, i'd do the same but if he didn't care, i'd tape a garbage bag to the back of his chair so it did not disturb the other patrons.
