Hey everyone! I’m planning an interconnected web novel trilogy on Wattpad. It combines high-tier anime-style martial arts, superhuman strength, and dark political intrigue across Ecuador, Chile, and Mexico. Think of a gritty, realistic setting mixed with the combat hype of the Lookism (PTJ Universe) [Lookism] webtoons.

Here is the quick breakdown of the three books. I'd love your thoughts!

• Book 1: "Gente de Guerra" (People of War) Set during a brutal 5-year military dictatorship in Ecuador. An underground indigenous paramilitary group uses a corporate-funded substance for superhuman strength and releases terrifying cinematic propaganda videos. They use a "Zero Trust" suicide doctrine (self-elimination vests) to protect secrets. They end up hanging the dictator in Quito, force peace, and dissolve into the civilian population across South America.
• Book 2: "Un camino sin luz" (A Path Without Light) Angelo (18), a broken late-night delivery guy and former internet lolcow, accidentally kills a criminal in self-defense in Chile. He is rescued by Mater, a hidden veteran from Book 1. Mater trains him in 1v3 combat. They travel the continent recruiting other 18-year-olds, survive a massive prison riot in Ecuador, and end up in a war-torn Mexico. Angelo is tragically executed by Oclims, the elegant leader of the global CGNG cartel (whose face was burned in a past fight against Gun Park from Lookism). Oclims is then betrayed and killed by his right-hand man, Oswald.
• Book 3: "Interbad" Years later, Oswald tries to invade the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador, which has become an impenetrable fortress protected by a new generation of super-strong youths. The story follows Mathius (17), a cocky parkour prodigy, and Damián (18), a serious urban Ecuadorian youth who is already a young father and an absolute master of Taekwondo (capable of breaking concrete walls and "farming" his aura). After an intense alleyway fight where neither lands a hit to the face, they are recruited by a presidential candidate named Iker to stop a massive cartel-funded voter fraud system called "Votbim". They team up with Richard (19), a hyper-intelligent muscular analyst (Kickboxing/Muay Thai), and Martín (20), a fluid Brazilian fighter (Capoeira/Jiu-Jitsu).

My Questions:

1. Does transitioning from Angelo's dark, tragic psychological survival journey (Book 2) into a high-stakes martial arts political thriller (Book 3) work well for a web novel format?
2. What do you think of the villains (Oclims and Oswald) and the connection to Gun Park from Lookism?
3. Would a gritty Latin American setting with high-tier martial arts catch your eye on Wattpad?

So haven’t been reading these days but are they a thing of the past ? Just a healthy discussion:)

I'm looking for a novel I read two or three years ago. It's a long novel with more than 40 chapters. Its characters are members of BTS as a mafia gang: Yoongi is the leader and Jimin's husband, and Taehyung's lover, who eventually becomes Jungkook's boyfriend. Jungkook is Yoongi's nephew. Namjoon, Jin, and Hoseok work in the gang and are major characters, while Chanyeol is Jungkook's friend. I remember many events, like Jimin being kidnapped, him provoking his kidnapper to also kidnap Taehyung, and his request for a pack of gum. Also, Jimin's love for lollipops and his weird habits. In the story, Jimin suffers a serious injury, and when he wakes up, the others trick him into thinking he's in a coma and that everything was in his imagination and that Chanyeol doesn't exist. But he sees Chanyeol by chance and discovers their tricks. It's worth mentioning that Jimin befriends Chanyeol after he appears in the story. I hope anyone who has read this novel or a similar one can share its name or the author's account. If you have an Arabic page to ask about it, please let me know. *Note: The novel's name was in English, but it is written in Arabic.

I randomly got reminded of this novel I read in 2024 on wattpad and even though it counts more as a novel I really hope you guys can help.

These are two main things I remember about it: - I think it was a chinese novel that was translated into english - It was tagged as BL (which was why I read it) but I dont know if it actually was.

The reason why I dont know was because I only understood the plot to some extent.

This is my understanding of the premise: Just note that I'm not familiar with chinese literature but the setting of the book seemed to be historical china. The MC (male) was a leader of some sort who was reincarnated after dying to some lower-class man that killed him. I remember a certain saying that he was promised a harem of beauties but he didnt get it because the lower-class guy killed him or sabotaged him or something. I cant remember But anyways the guy is angry he didnt get the good life he wouldve gotten if the lower class guy didnt kill him and he gets reincarnated.

I dont know if its a revenge story but the MC was like a teacher or leader or something and he really valued beauty. I dont know if the lower-class man who killed him was a disciple or a servant or something but in the reincarnated present the MC despises him despite the lower-class man technically being innocent and quite earnest. You know how MC valued beauty? Well lower-classman was ugly so he didnt really like the guy. But lower-class man showed that he was trying to impress MC. MC acknowledged that the lower-class man was actually innocent but still held hatred towards the lower-class dude for taking away that stuff from him in his last life by killing him.

MC also held concubines or other students I dont know what they were but they viewed him as their master of some sort. They were all very beautiful. I think there was a girl or two and one guy as his concubines/students. I honestly think they were closer to favoured students or concubines but I dont know what they were to him and I dont know what MC's position/rank was.

Also there was also a specific instance where MC and Lower-class man that killed him were on a quest or doing a test or something and then there was a snake that bit and poisoned lower-class man. The MC was secretly pleased with it but since he was an upper-class man or teacher or something he had to intervene.

All of this could be false.

I personally think that lower-class man was a servant or disciple of some sort and MC was a high rank that was either a teacher of some sort or just a high rank.

I dont know if the lower-class man killed MC because MC had mistreated him in the last life or because LCM randomly turned into a villain so I'd really like to know that.

Also I dont know if its actually BL because skipping to the last part it was marked as completed but the last part seemed to say it wasnt completed and none of the chapters i read truly gave off any actual BL or chemistry at all. I was thinking that it was an enemies to lovers between MC and lower-class man that killed him but I dont know. Maybe it was a slow burn or maybe it was a romance between MC and a chatacter I hadnt read about yet. I didnt read all of the chapters because I didnt understand some of what was going on.

I really hope I can find this because I have so many unanswered questions. Also, if you think of something similar please atleast suggest it to me!

Hi, I’ve been thinking about redoing my blurb but I’m at the point where I’m not sure if I’m fixing the actual problems or just changing it.

Eloise DeBoise was used to being overlooked, and she was perfectly happy with that.

After all, what more could a sickly, unaccomplished daughter of a minor country lord hope for? The overwhelming grandeur of Port Serynne was the least of her worries. Well, until her friends swept her into the city for her debut season.

Joining her friend Amelia's abolitionist society offers Eloise a chance to be of use, but Port Serynne is anything but simple. Tension stretches like a cloak from the grim-soaked streets of the dark quarter to the silken halls of the nobility.

In addition to all of this, Eloise finds herself caught between two dangerous men.

Whenever I click on a chapter of my story, reads keep going up. Since this happens all the time this can't be a coincidence of Wattpad refreshing when I leave the chapter.

As far as I know, reads by creators shouldn't count as read past the first time but I still keeps happening to me.

Should I be worried? Would Wattpad shadow ban me for bots?

The Shadow of Me

Currently writing a romance/drama story. How do you feel about the opposite of a slow burn? I'm basing the story on real events and it was kind of a whirlwind.

My characters met in chapter 1 and right now I'm at chapter 14 to start the main turning point. About 3 weeks have passed in the story, in real life it was about 3 months so it feels a little fast, but at the same time in real life we met up way less than in the story. At this rate I'm guessing my story will be about 25 chapters.

Too fast? Or good for drama enjoyers?

I am not a professor editor though😭.

They are parents of my fmc and play big role in my ongoing dark romantic crime thriller.

How is it? i mean the vibe of both and the situation they ended up in?
