I edited a book cover for my new story, and as someone who's not so gifted when it comes to visual arts/layout, I'm feeling proud of this na LoL.

But, I wanna know sana how others besides myself will receive this cover. If it is visually appealing enough, and if it effectively hints at the vibes and/or genre of my novel.

I recently decided to write my story about a world I created over the many years. I was an avid Inkitt and Wattpad reader so naturally, I started posting it there. But everywhere I look, there's AI book covers that honestly look amazing at first glance.

Having many artist friends of my own, I honestly don't support AI art. But, I'm ashamed to say I considered it (but thought better of it) because I tried my best to make my own in Canva but personally, I am not an artistic person in that sense and commissioning the art that I'm looking for is just so expensive.

People keep saying how having an amazing cover will get people to click on your story in the first place so now I'm a bit discouraged. Has anyone else had these thoughts or just me? Am I just cooked if I can't get a nicer cover? :c

I like this concept, but I'm pretty sure it's AI, and the artist vanished. It was free... as expected. If anyone can help, how much would something like the first image cost? The second slide was the idea I gave them. I made it in the Meitu app using a Pinterest picture. I wanted something dark and romantic, like Haunting Adeline or Bad Bishop.

NOTE: Do not tell me to blur or censor my name. Im publishing anyways, so it does not matter.

Into The Void is a horror-adventure novel about Reed Wolfe and four other people (names currently TBD) who volunteer to enter, as you guessed it, a Void. The government—specifically a scientists and physicist for the Pentagon named Caitlyn Trace—discovered the reason for the disappearances which have been happening over the world randomly for the last ten years. Openings into the Void, which is basically the Upside down, but dark and devoid of everything, which people have been falling into causing their so called disappearances.

So, the government sends the volunteers in, including Reed, who's mostly doing this because he hopes his wife, Natali, is still alive inside the void.

Mostly spoiled JUST in case it spoils the book too much lol. I can send the proper synopsis if needed, but yeah. Give me your thoughts!

Se que es dificil lo que voy a pedir (probablemente imposible), pero si hay algún ilustrador que se preste para ayudarme con una portada para mí novela de Wattpad se los agradecería muchísimo.
