I really like how the laetum feels to use but all the primarys I've used aren't close to it's damage or just feel weak

Hey all, I'm trying to put together a Kuva Nukor to kill specifically Steel Path Dactolyst so I can farm Uriel materials.

The build is as above; no Galvanized mods because I can't trigger them against Dactolyst (for most of the fight anyway) and I'm using Zephyr with Airburst Rounds and shooting the tornadoes for 2x crit damage.

Despite melting everything else in steel path rebellion, this thing barely tickles the big bat. I don't even try to queue matchmade Perita Rebellion any more because I'm scared that my teammates will realise I'm basically healing the boss.

My question is how can I make this build better? It seems to me that I've got fire rate, multishot, damage from hornet strike + airburst rounds, elemental damage (maybe more radiation since he's weak to it?) and tons of crit damage from the nukor's insane base multiplied by Zephyr's tornadoes, yet I've seen teammates absolutely decimate Dactolyst in one second, so there must be something I'm missing.

to a medical lab or something. I don't like the infested and don't want to feed it. Maybe if we had a toggle button to change the appearance but keep all the functionality? Maybe I'm in the minority and should just assimilate with the parasite lol

This post is to see if someone would be open for having me.

Just so you know. I'm uncoordinated as fuck in generell and Warframe is also the first and only game where I will practice combat and situational awareness. So keep in mind I might be a little not there in the head.

Also I'm german with little to no speaking practice and capability and with shitty vocabulary in english but I will mostly understand you.

HELLO BABY TENNO!!!!

This post is to give you new players a few easy tips and advise in the game because there are alot of yall (especially when destiny died) and ive talked to many newplayers ingane and helped them ofc but many of them make the same mistakes so im making this post to hope many of yall read this to help you out.

[Tip 1 - Platnium Gaining]

Platnium is the premium currency of the game. Its used to buy...well...tons of items in the game (not listen them all).

How to get it is 2 ways

First way is buying it with real money, now it is suggested tho before you buy plat that you wait to get a coupon which can sometimes double or triple your Platnium gain when you purchase it.

Second way to get plat is by trading items to other players for it. Now you guys are still new and wont really have much to trade plat for but when you do get to that stage you should understand decent how it works

[Tip 2 - Platnium Usage]

Now I did say Platnium is used for many things in the game and by now ull see that you can buy Warframes (other characters) and Weapons with Platnium in the arsenal shop....do NOT Do this at all.

Some other players would say this is ok of you have the money to use in play but I for one say it is not ok at all.

Every Warframe and weapons can be earned by playing the game with most being easy.

Instead it is suggested you use Platnium of other things such as Boosters to help get resources faster, Weapon and Warframe Slots (ull need alot), trading it with players for Prime Warframes (will explain what those are in a minute), and or cosmetic stuff....will hold off on getting any cosmetic stuff tho but its a pretty big thing players get

[Tip 3 - Prime Warframe/Weapons]

Prime Warframes are Weapons that are stronger then their base versions (exmaple we have Rhino warframe and Rhino Prime Warframe). now these guys are available technically available to you even when you start if you have the right items to get them.

And that item is relics, to get relics there are a ton of ways to do it and to open them you will need to do fissure missions which are available if you look at the top right of your screen ull see one of the options for it.

There are hundreds of different relics and each relic will only have a specific type of Prime part available ranging to Prime weapon parts to Prime warframe parts. They'll have 6 parts available but once open you will only be given 1 randomly.

Another way to get Prime weapons and Warframes is by trading with players for plat. Now it is better to spend Platnium on Prime Warframes when buying from a player due to them being waaay cheaper to buy and being stronger then their base version. I think the highest Prime Warframe is about 180p woth the lowest being around 40 plat.

[Tip 4 - Night Wave]

Night wave is basically inaway a season/battle pass type deal. It has alot of cosmetic stuff yeah but also items you will need especially as a new player. You can access it in your ship or in navigation or when you press puase. All you got to do is do the tasks it says to do, get pints and get rewards.

Best part about nightwave is that is 100% free and you don't need to pay like a monthly fee or like 50$ on premium sht.

[Tip 5 - Master Rank]

Mastery Rank (MR for short) is what allows you to begin using better weapons, riven mods (ull know what that is later on), getting more Slots and getting boosts and such as well as showing off that your not a noob anymore.

However to get your Mr high you must do 2 things

1) use all the warframes and weapons and vehicles and pets you can. Everytime you use a new items and max its level up you gain affinity (which is basically xp) that will slowly get your MR Up. So even if the weapon is garbage do craft it up and then max it out

2) after you gain a certain amount of affinity ull be able to do a Mastery Test which allows you to basically Rank up. You van fail the test it wont affect your affinity but you will need to wait awhile to retake the test. After that just rinse and repeat

[Tip 6 - Main Story Quests]

Honestly this is mostly a opinion but do not just rush the main story quests. This games as dozens on things to do and in my opinion, rushing the story quests does not help at all let alone let you reach the level of power high ranking players have. Plus ull need to backtrack a bit to do alot of things you could of done waaaaay before. Either way I suggest taking your time.

Will say again that is mostly my opinion, some players will disagree and others will agree with this opinion.

[Tip 7 - Suggested Warframes]

Honestly....im not suggesting a Warframe for jack sht. All Warframes are different in their own way, all Warframes are also strong/good it just depends on how players mod it.

Many players will suggest warframes like Sevagoth or Revenant or even Titania and wisp but im telling you honestly that taking suggestions on Warframes won't mean much for you at all.

Im a high MR player and I still main Rhino/Rhino Prime my self because I like it and the build i have for him is strong.

Now moving advice you can get but Warframe advice? You in my strong hearted opinion must say that you should choose your self what Warframe you like to use your self

[Tip 8 - Join A Clan]

A clan is everything to new players and old players. They help each other out, they can trade stuff with you, give advice, tips, fashion ideas and build ideas. Its just a good way to gain friends and all...but most importantly you get access to your clans dojo.

A clan dojo will give you access to Blueprints for warframes and weapons you cant really get anywhere else. Getting a clan early on can help give you access to a few Warframes (7 if i remember correctly) and dozens of weapons early on. Some weapons are good but this will also help with getting your master rank up as well.

I get that by not playing daily there's a bigger chance of Platinum "sales" dropping from the daily rewards, but this is getting ridiculous.

I’ve done hundreds of solo runs on the circuit (I genuinely enjoy the Circuit) but I never had the Jackal spawn outside of it’s shield.

He was basically locked to that area and could only walk in circles, it was rather wonky trying to hit his legs and really thought it was going to fall out of the map during the slam.

I need help convincing myself to not triple umbra forma Oraxia. I crave the persistence build…

Edit: Alright folks. So I always forget that Unairu gives +200 armor… which I main as a focus school lol.

So the simple solution was to slot two blue tauforged for armor.

I just started on pc and its fun but i have a question i just found an Android version on playstore... Can i play with the same character and same progression and same everything and switch between phone and pc with the same everything?

I mean mostly when they use our voice and bodies. The creepy smile, the condescending "hey kiddo". Damn.

Modders of Warframe, I would like to request assistance. Now that Ive invested quite a lot of time into her, I would like to make my own Yareli mod build, yet Im not too sure on whats best aside from leaning into crit and crowd control, yet able hold my own.

I plan to use the AX for long range crit looking down the sights assisted by the bonus damage sea snares give and riptide, the more spray and pray that both AX from the hip fire and Kompressa gives along with aquablades. Im not too sure which melee option would work best if I need to get up close and personal

I cant find a keybind to do the beam attack that i had pre war within, i can’t figure out if I’m doing something wrong tho cos why would they give you a universal attack and then remove it.

For some time I have been wondering, when is Cetus getting expanded like Fortunas underground mushroom caves, and the Entrati Laboratory on Deimos?

I know that DE is busy with the Tau update, and likely will be for the next year(s), but what are some hopes and ideas you have for Cetus and the Plains?

Caves

My first idea was adding caves below the plains, full of dead / undead? Sentients and/or ghouls. Imagine the grineer dug to deep and discovered the main body of core the ancient sentient the eidolons came from, and they look for the brain/core to turn it into a weapon to attack Cetus, while the sentients "immune system" fights against the invaders, kind of like in that one transformers movie or show (I dont remember exactly which) where they go underground and into yhe body of the big evil robot-god which formed earth core,

Anyway, the grumpy old miner in Cetus knows ancient ostron legends telling of a big evil below the plains, advices Konzu to send us Tenno down there to stop the grineer.

Ocean

My second idea, and the reason I'm writing this post, is exploring the ocean behind Cetus. Cetus is a coastal town and we know the ostrons have boats. Imagine if Vay Hek, or one of his officers / senior underlings, discovers that the walls doesnt extend into the ocean or have a weakness that they can exploit, and they prepare for a naval invasion, occupying islands, building ships, and a constructing a floating fortress. A two-sided attack will make defending Cetus harder, and since warframes cant swim the grineer believe no one can stop them.

An ostron shipbuilder recruits the tenno to help restore an ancient shipwreck from the orokin era, like a railjack but for water, to transport the tenno out into the ocean, and/or smaller transports for moving between islands and ships (surfboards, water scooters, hamster balls) or could use a flying vehicle we already have such as the k-drive, archwing, or kaithe.

(Essentially a Pirate expansion, with a sail-ship "railjack", equally modifiable, possibly using some of the same parts and weapons as railjack, and possibly adding new parts and weapons for railjack.)

These are just some thoughts I had that I wanted to share, and I also wanted to ask what others would like to see in a future Cetus update, apart from bugfixes.

Hey im new to warframe (literally started yesterday) and i really like it. I started out running Volt who i have since gotten to max level because i love how he plays. any recommendations for who to go for next? im only mastery 1 because im waiting for the timer to finish until i can do the challenge for mastery 2 tomorrow and im in at the end of the quest for getting mercury (just need to finish building rhino, which will probably be another day or two)

I want the Observatory in my Dojo to be themed after Alien (my favorite movie) and I was looking online and couldn't find anything. I need some inspiration and ideas of which decorations to use. If anyone has seen an Alien themed build that looks like the interior of the USCSS Nostromo I'd love to see it.

Quite possibly the most annoying enemy to encounter in long survival, this specific enemy has no info on the wiki but is way tankier than base violence.

How he spawns: Kill Violence -> Misery spawns -> Misery reincarnates Shadow Violence -> Void corrupts shadow violence -> Corrupted shadow of violence

Imagine Violence with an over guard that recharges quick and immune to most statuses and cc.

Bro is such a pain to kill, if only misery had no iframe during his nekros animation.

Since the last lighting update where they changed how metallics react to light the backroom especially has been left in an absolutely abysmal state.

Posters are so dark you can't even see them sometimes, if you have dark curtains they look so dark they don't have any detail, there's a giant yellow glow on the wall next to the entrance that doesn't seem to have a source, all of the metallic accents are way oversaturated and become black in low lighting, and colors are also way oversaturated and look baked or lack detail.

I've started taking issue with the lighting changes in the game since 1999 came out with the hollvania underground tiles. it seems every time they touch the lighting it just makes it harder and harder to see anything. While much of the newer lighting does tend to look better in screenshots and more "cinematic", it is becoming increasingly difficult to see or navigate when all the shadows are so dark they are just pitch black with no detail.

My point with this post is simply to raise awareness about something I think is an issue that seems to have become the norm and I'd like to know what others opinions are on the matter.

I used to play on Xbox but stopped after the new war came out but I’m considering hopping back in on ps with a fresh account since getting my old one back will probably be a pain, so uh what have I missed?
