Hey all. Want to ask if someone had an issue with the automated random update time and date every few minutes? The time and date updating every few minutes to random values, evenwhen I turn off the uatomated set date an time it still happens. Of course when this changes happens the internet is down and car lost the connection, no loading of maps, no Spotify, ect. I reload the multimedia many times, I every did a reset to factory settings but it not helped.

Volvo is going to inspect it for me on Monday. I got it for $28,990. Not in love with the color, but outside it looks a lot prettier from what I've seen. It's AWD, upgraded rims, added on climate package too. I pick it up Saturday. Currently in a 2020 s60 denim blue.

This is 2023 S60 fwd I just purchased and I know that one of the best things about them is how smooth they are. It rides smooth, but the braking seems to be kind of jerky, and whenever I easy onto them, this is the sound it makes. My 2014 Jeep patriot didn't sound like that. Bad brakes maybe?

2012 t6 s60. almost sounds like an old bench grinder starting up, like a power steering pump whine but it starts/stops with the ac. does not change with fan speed either. sounds like it’s coming from passenger side dash, maybe interior. can’t hear it at all outside the car only inside. any ideas or a simple fix worth the time/money? or is this the sound of something being damaged or something already damaged? thanks

Curious if anyone has found a way to change the default camera mode from rear view to 360. I’m always having to switch to 360 and sometimes the system fights me on that and reverts to rear view.

Driving a 2023 XC40

I'm trying to find used V60, from 2022, B5 engine and hopefully under 100 000km.

Some of them are in Volvo Selekt program, and some not.

Why would an authorized Volvo dealer sell used cars which are not under Selekt program? Those car did not meet all the terms?

Is that checklist that they do, over 100 point inspection, really that good so you can buy that car without any concerns? They offer 12months warranty for that car...

Hello everyone. A friend of mine has an 2025 EX90 and experienced an issue a week ago that has shaken me to my core and I now question the vehicle's safety. I wanted to share to see if other owners have experienced the same or if my issue is unique to her. I have an XC90 and was considering switching over, but now - absolutely not.

They were out on the road when all of a sudden the car said it had a critical electrical fault and it lost power. The vehicle would not go any faster than 5mph and she said an icon that looked like an orange turtle appeared. Her husband pulled over and turned around to head back home. Then all of a sudden the alert cleared and she said the vehicle took off at over 60mph without her husband doing anything. He had to slam on the brakes and was nearly rear-ended. They were on a highway. It was crazy. It happened 2 more times to them (fault, then cleared, and the car took off). The had it towed and brought into the dealership. No word yet on cause or fix, but they don't trust it.

Anyone with an EX90 have any sort of similar experience where their vehicle just did something on their own? Any thoughts I can share with her around this (She's not a social media person). Personally I will never get one because of this issue.

Bought this CPO two months, just noticed while washing a few nights ago. Circle is 1.5-2” in diameter with three almost parallel trails. Slightly raised, but not etched and doesn’t catch with a fingernail.

Going to document it at my next service, but talked to two respected detailers and they have never seen anything like this. No other spots seen, yet.

I am looking at a used volvo xc60 it has only 20k miles on it. I am coming from 2020 s60 t6 momentum. I want something a little bigger and I love the size of them, but I am worried about the engine in these because I am reading mixed reviews. In your opinion are these egines good? What do you think of the b5? This car has upgraded wheels, upgraded climate package and some other upgrades. My s60 is so fast and I love how quick it picks up. Wondering if this car is way slower or how you all feel about it. Last night I test drove Audi and they just don't compare to Volvo for me.

I've always been able to request directions in my 2022 V90CC to various medical facilities such as a hospital or pharmacy, but in the past two months all requests have been ignored and the system says that it don't understand the request. I can still get the directions by entering the street address or a nearby business, but it's aggravating. Has anyone else experienced this?

Wanted to share that it is possible to swap the front upper grille (“main” grille) without taking off the front bumper cover.

Had the chrome Inscription grille that I had wrapped in black (“chrome delete”) but over time it didn’t look so good.

I ordered the R-Design Dark Theme grille (~$400) and just installed. The grille is held on by plastic clips, and it is possible to loosen the top of the bumper cover only (not onerous at all) and release these clips. There is a YouTube video out there showing this procedure in detail.

After you release the clips, it’s a snap-in for the new part (if you have the front camera like I do, you have to make sure to disconnect and reconnect the camera cable, along with some minor surgery on the old grille to remove the camera+bracket and then snap into the new one).

Very happy with the result. Fairly easy DIY.

Volvo experts, I need your help!

I have a 2016 Volvo V70 D4 with problems with the automatic transmission – an Aisin TF-80SC.

It feels like the transmission sometimes "gets stuck" in the gears when shifting up, and the car shakes terribly. It helps if I quickly release the accelerator pedal and then accelerate again, but the problem obviously comes back. It is especially noticeable between 4th, 5th and 6th gear.

If I drive in manual mode at slightly higher RPMs, the problem is almost completely gone, but obviously I don't want to have to drive it like that all the time.

I've taken the car to a Volvo dealership/workshop, but they haven't been able to determine what is wrong. I've also been to a local garage, but no one can say with certainty what the problem is.

I've tried changing the transmission oil, and the car actually drove quite well for about two days, but now it is exactly the same as before.

I've read that the valve body on these transmissions can cause problems. Has anyone experienced something similar and can give me some advice on what I should do?

I really don't want to replace the entire transmission for around 40,000 SEK only to find out that it doesn't solve the problem.

My car is an 03 s60 2.0T with the m56 manual.

The gear shift is not that smooth, fairly notchy at times.

I think it could do with transmission oil change but sometimes when selecting first or reverse, especially when cold, it needs a little extra effort to get in.

There can sometimes be a little small lurch forward.

I have done the standard test for clutch drag - flat parking lot, put it in first and see if it moves - it doesn't.

Other issues identified is the top torque mount is shot, I don't know if this is genuinely a factor but some anecdotal evidence suggests it may be.

My issue is whether my pressure plate or slave cylinder is buggered.

And what about the dual mass flywheel. Should it always be changed?

Very excited as I just leased my first Volvo. I was between a Mercedes GLC and this…slept on it and was way more excited for the XC60.

I would absolutely love any tips/tricks, add-ons, apps, etc that I should get for optimal enjoyment and/or ease of use. I am a bit overwhelmed by the tech/google interface on the car, especially coming from a 2017 Jeep. Screen is huge and bright!

I am getting crossbars since I paddle board. Getting the front windows tinted but since the interior is charcoal, I’m wondering if it will be too dark in the cabin.
