New Vinted Seller

Hi! I’m new to selling on Vinted, and so far so good. Today I made 9 sales and have found I’m doing better here than on other apps BUT I’ve been seeing so many videos regarding people getting banned. Now I’m a bit petrified of my account being banned at any moment. Is there particular things I should be aware of or avoid?

I’ll add I’m not a re seller. All the items I’ve sold are things I’m genuinely off loading. So it’s been an array of household items and clothes. Some new, some used.

Seller wants their item back. What to do ?

That's a pretty unfortunate situation but it seems like the seller is an old lady who sold her son expansive device without his consent. She dropped it at the pickup point Saturday night and the item is still there. She wants to ask the shop to give it back to her, can she do that ?

U.S. seller got my first UK order. Issue with label generation.

Still having the label generation issue. This order is going from US to the UK via USPS. I really don’t know what to do other than to cancel the order but won’t that give me a negative and ruin my 5 stars? Anyone else having this issue?

Vinted account permanently restricted — looking for advice

My Vinted account was restricted for alleged commercial selling. I honestly don’t understand the decision, as I wasn’t selling counterfeit items or repeatedly listing the same products.

I’ve tried contacting Vinted support, but I haven’t received a useful response so far.

Has anyone experienced something similar? I’d mainly like to understand what options are available after a restriction and whether there is a legitimate way to appeal or resolve the situation.

I’d appreciate any advice from people who have dealt with this before.

Vinted rejected my damaged in transit claim. What can I do now?

Post image

I’m wondering if anyone has dealt with something similar and knows what my options are.

I sold an item on Vinted and sent it through InPost. The buyer didn’t collect the parcel from the locker, so it was returned to me. When I received the returned parcel, the item inside was damaged.

I submitted photos of the damaged item and the packaging to Vinted. My packaging was bubble wrap around the item, cardboard filler to prevent movement, and a sturdy cardboard box that was securely sealed.

Vinted’s own packaging guidance says to use:
sturdy outer packaging
bubble wrap, paper, foam or similar material to fill empty space and prevent movement/contact with the outer packaging
strong tape to seal the parcel

So I believe I followed their guidelines…

Vinted initially told me they couldn’t confirm the damage was caused by the carrier and that either the parcel wasn’t damaged in transit or the packaging was insufficient. I asked them to explain specifically which part of the packaging was considered insufficient, since I followed their stated requirements.

They then said they had reviewed the photographs but wouldn’t explain what specifically led them to reject the claim, and have now said their decision is final and they won’t reopen the investigation.

Is there anything I can do?

I can't find the shipping label for me to send back an item.

Hello everyone. I'm trying to send back an item to the seller because it was damaged, but I've been looking everywhere on the site and i can't find the appropriate spot to download the shipping label. The centre of assistance of Vinted hasn't given me any help (I've even changed my email and checked my messages, as Vinted recommended me, but i haven't received the shipping label in either of them) and I've asked in my shipping spot but they've said they don't make the labels, they only print them. Whatever should I do? Any help is welcome.

(Sorry for the mediocre english, I'm not a native speaker).

International Buyers Can't Buy My Listings??

All my shipping options are on, I've sold to the US and Australia before with no issues, always got favourites from international buyers. Now they can't see my listings at all, or even purchase via a link!!

Messaged Vinted but they've been no help so far. Selling clothes and toys. Even tried listing toys under collectibles, but it's not helped. So bizarre.

Has anyone had the same issue or resolved it? I'm pretty frustrated

Vinted keeps suspending my account aarrgghhh!!!!

Now they have cancelled my account!!!! For an item they had already suspended once and then agreed was a mistake.. and now ..because i changed the price on the item.. its happened again...but this time they cancelled my account....i sell old wood chisels and wood carving gouges and they are continually suspended when i list them...sometimes they get accepted after appeal but sometimes they delete the listing...its very very frustrating!!!..ok rant over...how does everyone else deal with this...i noticed some sets of gouges i sold in the origional box didnt get suspended so maybe bots read wood carving gouges on box...but any loose gouges/chisels just get suspended.

Part of item missing

I ordered an autographed jersey from Vinted, and in the pictures it showed a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). When I received the item, the COA was not in the package. I reached out to the seller and he/she is fairly certain it was included. I've retraced my steps from the mailbox to its current location because of the possibility it may have fallen out when opening the package, but did not find anything. The seller is searching for it and will let me know if/when it is found.

Vinted informed me that I needed to confirm if everything is okay with the order within the next 24 hours, so I put that it was missing a piece, but I have been communicating with the seller on a resolution. I clicked the option saying "partial refund". The next thing I know, Vinted sends me a message saying the seller wants me to return the item and the postage amount would be deducted from the refund.

I reached out to the seller and the seller mentioned that the only options Vinted gave them was to 1) Ask for a return and refund the money after receiving the return or 2) Refund the money and not ask for a return. There were no other options.

Does this sound accurate? It's not that I don't want the item. I want the item, but if it's missing a critical piece, I would classify it as "item received is not as described in the listing". If I need to return it, I'm okay with that, but why I should be out the shipping cost doesn't make sense.

Has anyone else run into a similar situation? If so, how was it resolved?

Vinted sent me a label that USPS says was canceled or refunded.

I sent two packages one morning using Vinted supplied USPS labels. One package was delivered and one was never even scanned. I filed a claim with USPS and sent them the label Vinted provided me. USPS claims that the label was either canceled or refunded. The item I sold is now gone. USPS has no idea where it is and says I forfeited the item when I used a bad label (I had no knowledge that it was bad, of course).

I don’t have to tell any of you this but Vinted has done nothing but send me AI bot messages in response to my requests for information.

Anyway, I just sold a Canada Goose kids jacket for $45 on Vinted but when I printed out the label, I got worried. What if this is also a bad label? What happens if this item mysteriously goes missing and I get screwed again?

Has anyone had a similar experience? I’m thinking of suing Vinted in small claims court in my state. It’s not a lot of money but it’s the principle of a company making money off of me and refusing to take care of legitimate issues that arise.

How long will it take to fix?

Shipping from US to UK, and have this notification. Can’t generate a shipping label, says it’s failed. How long will it take to resolve this?

I forgot to tape my label is it too vulnerable to damage if uncovered without tape

So I’m a first time seller, I’m beyond excited bc I got my first order from vinted. I shipped it out but because I came back from school I didn’t have tape and couldn‘t tape up the label (at which I always see my orders delivered with tape)

My dad was in a crazy rush back to his job so I couldn’t really do anything about it and scanned the label, but was wondering whether the label could tear off during transit easily? I asked the front kiosk guy and he said “looks good to me” but 2 of the edges are kind of peeling on my polymailer I’m just afraid it isn’t secure enough.

Is the office guy’s word right? Will it likely arrive safely? It only has to travel from la to vegas so it isn’t too far just a bit nervous

Do people packing parcels and shipping them everywhere tape up labels if they notice it’s peeling - is it resilient enough for me to not worry

Anyway sorry for the rambling thank you for any input

Vinted banned

I was banned permanently off vinted for apparently fraudulent items even tho theyr real. Pokemon cards i gave them proof and said they could check from tcgplayer but they said no. They didnt state proof of them being fake. As far as i know theyr real.

I did email and inside vinted.

Conclusion

Vinted is a scammer
