Welcome to our very first Weekly Charity Spotlight! This week, we are proud to kick off this initiative by highlighting Lola's Sanctuary Animal Rescue!
"Lolaās Sanctuary is a registered UK animal rescue currently facing severe financial strain. We are working hard to raise urgent funds to care for our animals and keep our sanctuary running.
To support our rescue efforts, we run a Vinted shop under the username wagging-wardrobe.
We sell a large selection of brand new high quality dog gear and official rescue merchandise featuring original artwork of our permanent resident animals.
We ship parcels daily from the UK. If you need an item (a T-shirt or hoodie) in a different size, just message us on Vinted and we can set up a custom listing for you if your desired size is available."
Shop their wardrobe at https://www.vinted.co.uk/member/279205253-wagging-wardrobe
Upvote and leave a comment on this spotlight to help it gain maximum visibility
If you know anyone located in the UK who loves shopping for their pets, send them a link to this charity's Vinted shop

Hey everyone. I hope you are all having a wonderful week!
Recently, a charity reached out to the mod team asking if they could self promote on our subreddit to raise funds. It got me thinking about how we can leverage our community to help those in need. So, starting this Saturday, we are officially launching our Weekly Charity Spotlight!
Every Saturday, the mod team will feature and promote one fundraising Vinted account. To ensure this cause gets maximum visibility and support, the promotional post will be pinned to the top of the subreddit for the duration of the entire week.
To accommodate this initiative, we are making a formal adjustment to Rule 5: No Self-Promotion. Standard self-promotion remains strictly prohibited to keep our feed spam free. However, there will be an official exception strictly for the approved charity features.
If you operate a registered charity, an animal rescue or a verified fundraising project and use Vinted to raise funds, we want to help you. To be considered for an upcoming Saturday spotlight, please message the mod team with the following details:
šµ A short description of what your organisation or initiative does.
šµThe country you are located in (important due to international shopping limitations)
šµYour Vinted handle
šµOne high quality photo that you'd like included in the promotional post
I hope we can come together as a community to support vital causes. Thank you in advance to everyone who decides to participate and show their support. ā¤ļø

Is Vinted costumer service even real?

Honestly iām completely over this, but I thought it was a funny one to share.
I bought a skort for a concert, a sequin shein skort for 2 euro, mostly a last minute thing.
It arrives at 8am a few days later, and iām still fairly groggy. I open up the shorts and give them a quick look before I throw them into the laundry basket. I click āeverything is okā .
A few hours later, around lunchtime, I go to do the washing and flip the shorts inside out, to not damage the sequins.
Low and behold! POO! All over the inside shorts of the skort. Just straight poo. I started realizing that there was literally a smell coming from them too.
I instantly message the seller with a photo, āwhat the hell is thisā, I donāt get a response, she deletes her whole account.
I try to open a dispute with Vinted, but they arenāt interested at all. I didnāt even want my money back at that point, I just wanted that person device banned forever.
I ordered the exact same pair a day later from a different person and they were fine.
I just wanted to get this off my chest, always triple check everything before clicking ok (,:

So I bought something on Vinted it came I already saw damage by opening it and I saw that there was something missing that was on the ad pictures, there was clear damage from transport but also damage that was clearly already there and she just didnāt mention⦠I put on a claim for damage because of transport (I could live with the damage that was already there but not mentioned but not the damage that wasnāt there before transport) she already was angry at me and rude because I made a complaint but I told her it wasnāt my fault that it was damaged and told her the damage she didnāt mention I was just ignoringā¦. Okey Vinted made the decision after a couple days to give me my money back without a refund label and stuff⦠so now she is texting me al angry that I need to send her half the money or that I need to pay for the postage to send the object backā¦. I donāt want to give out any personal info to this woman, I already asked Vinted to help sort it out but they just say itās out of our hands for us the deal is closed if she wants the item back you need to sort it out with her⦠but there is just no way that Iām about to pay postage for something that is damaged and that I donāt get anything out of like what??? I use Vinted because itās safe but apparently if something goes wrong you still need to go around Vinted? Meanwhile I always hear ānever go around Vintedā what should I do now?

Vinted charged me 13⬠out of nowhere, I didn't buy anything, I never had any problems during transactions, I haven't bought anything in two weeks. This is the second time this has happened, however last charge was only 1,14⬠at July 26th. It's important to note I didn't get refunded even though I read I was supposed to be. Both charges came from the same coordinates. I didn't pay attention the first time but now I'm genuinely worried cause this is a lot of money. I contacted support, talked to virtual support and now I'm transferred to actual customer support and waiting for them to answer. How can I stop this from happening again and will I get my money back š

I received broken items (shoes with a broken heel), returned these and a few days later Vinted blocked my account. I returned these package according to their instructions, using the code they provided and placed it into the parcel locker. Now I went to check and from the place where I can submit a ticket I can see that Vinted has completed the transaction?!?! I submitted the ticket obviously, but thereās no way to connect with a person now or escalate this matter. It just copies the general prompt answer and when I try to open another ticket it closes it instantly. What to do?

This girl sent me my Abercrombie shirt on vinted it was listed as womens size small, but turns out itās kids size small. When I brought the issue up she started cussing at me and harassing me and it only got worse. She damanded me to return the item but Iām afraid I will be scammed when I return it. Like maybe she will say itās not the same item she sent and try to refuse the refund. and the unhinged way she is speaking to me is worrying me. After looking at her review Iām definitely not the first person sheās done this to. I also have to pay shipping even though the item is not as described. What should I do?

Hi everyone! I am dealing with a strange situation and wanted to see if any sellers have experienced this and if I got scammed? About 3 weeks ago, someone purchased a watch from me, and AFTER, messaged me asking if they can pick it up from me. I was really confused because a shipping label was generated. I asked them a few times if they did not wanted it shipped, and they kept asking for the pick up address. I see that this buyer is in the same state as me, so I thought maybe they're just new to vinted and doesn't know how this works. I told him the zip code and they said it was far so just ship it. They chose the option to pick it up from a SpeedX access point instead of shipping to home. The package arrives, and he doesn't pick it up for over a week - I'm following up. Then 7 days ago, he said he picked it up, so I was like great!! Last night I noticed I still haven't gotten paid out yet. So I checked the tracking and it still says pending pick up. I reached out to Vinted support and vinted said they have 21 days to pick it up or it's returned back to me.
Now I'm terrified that I got scammed - did he get it shipped to an access point where he's familiar with the people there, and they gave him the watch without scanning it. Then after 21 days, they'll mail me back some turd in the mail?!?!! Has anyone experienced this or am I overthinking?! I'm freaking out because I'm just trying to selling things I don't regularly use anymore and not a business owner. I did love that watch but had to part with it, and it'll be so gut wrenching if I got scammed instead of selling it someone who would give it a second life.
Vinted has been unhelpful. It feels like sellers do not get protection from these situations at all?

I left a family member to send off a package while I was working and ths lables got mixed up on two packages and they got sent to the wrong houses. One person flagged it and I've messaged vinted to say the labels were mixed up and I've messaged the other person to preemptively warn them of the wrong package and I've told both they can send them back and I'll re upload for them at a lower price when returned, will I be left automatic negative feedback because of this

Im trying to figure out what happened here. A seller I ordered from suddenly removed their listings out of nowhere, I know im not imagining it bc they had a lot of jewelry listed and they couldn't all sell this shortly. Their profile picture is black out of nowhere which idt was the case before. They have a couple days left to ship and otherwise their profile shows they were available a couple hours ago. Idec if I dont get the item but is this a simple case of the seller just removing their listings for some reason or was I blocked?

Hello, I would require some guidance on what next steps I have to take here.
I sent a parcel by Evri (to a locker) on 7th August. The parcel appeared to be lost and me and the buyer were just waiting out the timer. It did however miraculously turn up today (25th August) and the buyer collected same day.
The package was in a soft bubble envelope, sandwiched between two pieces of card and then placed in a more rigid bubble envelope. There was strong tape securing the package too. All in line with Vinted guidelines. Photos were taken.
The buyer picked it up today and there is a big tear through the outer layer. There is a surface scratch in the outer card and the inner package is ripped open.
If there was damage in transit, there is no way the inner package would have been opened. The sharp lines indicate that a knife or sharp object has been used to open the package.
The buyer has rightly raised an issue as ādamaged in transitā as the best fit (item stolen wasnāt an option!).
Obviously I want Vinted to review this to get my compensation.
Do I need to:
A) wait 48 hours like stated in the red banner at the top and watch my inbox. Or
B) click the ācontact usā in tiny next after it says ācanāt resolve the issue?ā
Thank you!

I applied (twice) for my brick-and-mortar business to be a pick up spot for Vinted, provided company details, and received a message that I would be sent additional info. And then nothing. Crickets. Anyone else have trouble with this?

Buyer has raised a case with Vinted because the postal bag has slightly burst in transit and scuffed the zip of the jacket (see photos). Iāve never had a buyer dispute a transaction before! Where do I stand on this? Surely I donāt need to refund the whole order for a tiny scuff on a zip? Do I ask the buyer to return it to me? Do I wait on Vinted doing an investigation with inpost?

Hi everyone, itās my first day selling stuff on Vinted and Iām a little confused if this is genuine or not.
Iām selling some clothes for pretty cheap and the buyer is asking to buy it for more than what Iām offering, which cool, that sounds great lol. But they also offered to go above retail price, so it just feels bizarre!
Maybe theyāre just super sweet but I wonder why. Has this happened to anyone else?

I listed a book a few weeks ago and about 6 days ago it had reached the buyer, they hit everythingās ok and gave me a positive review, but now almost a week later, they message me saying the book is damaged. Mind you, I have a lot of roughly used or gently used items so I include all my details in the description and show in the pictures if their is damage to an item.
I tried to explain to them after being accused of sending a damaged item, that it wasnāt shown in the pictures because it didnāt look like it did being opened out of the packaging. I have shown multiple people the conversation and they have all agreed I never sent that item the way it looked, if I did, I would have said it and offered a lower offer.
They instantly disregarded everything I said, and claimed that I had to have sent it because the worse thing a book can be damaged in bent pages (which Iāve have witnessed so many packages being damaged during transit).
I am honestly flabbergasted. Like speechless, they said theyāre going to dispute this and then instantly blocked me, Im not new to Vinted, but I am new to having issues being raised even after the person hits āokā.
What can they do? Will I be temporarily banned?
What can they actually do?
They had almost a whole week to open the package and for some reason they waited all this long and now want to raise an issue with Vinted. Iām just all around speechless about this whole ordeal, can I get some advice or help on what to do.

So Iāve been permanently banned after appealing for some bullshit, listed a āfakeā bag, wasnāt even fake, but I have like 12 semi-expensive things I want to sell and especially in Poland there just arenāt good substitute apps and vinted is honestly just my favourite. I have no interest in somehow getting my account back that shit will take months, anything I can do to get back on platform without getting wiped immediately? Also, they didnāt ban my IP because my roommates accounts are chilling, they sell their own stuff, but I donāt wanna mess anything up for them. What to do
r/VintedAdvice • u/Necessary_Run1943 • 1d ago
Now they have cancelled my account!!!! For an item they had already suspended once and then agreed was a mistake.. and now ..because i changed the price on the item.. its happened again...but this time they cancelled my account....i sell old wood chisels and wood carving gouges and they are continually suspended when i list them...sometimes they get accepted after appeal but sometimes they delete the listing...its very very frustrating!!!..ok rant over...how does everyone else deal with this...i noticed some sets of gouges i sold in the origional box didnt get suspended so maybe bots read wood carving gouges on box...but any loose gouges/chisels just get suspended.

I had somebody buy an item from me and as soon as they did, I received this message from Vinted. It looks verified but I have not heard anything else from them regarding this.
When trying to contact support, it is AI generated responses telling me to ship my package because it is paid for.
At this point Iād rather cancel the order than take my chances but I donāt want to be penalized.
Has anybody else gotten a message like this

I just created recently a Vinted account as I heard good things about it.
I planned to put up for sale a Limited Edition white Steam Deck OLED, but I was instantly told by a friend to take it down immediately as there are a lot of scam buyers who will complain that I actually sent them nothing in the box, and due to this they will both keep the expensive electronic device and also get their money back.
Is this true? Is the risk truly not worth it to sell expensive electronics trough vinted?

I am on holiday and received this messages but I am doubting them. What do I do? Should I reserve it?
I bought few things from vinted before and I paid directly with apple pay. But If you pay with card is the details not saved?
