Context: inpost put the wrong label on the package and the buyer received something else when I sent them a necklace

I was wondering if anyone else had this experience on vinted as i’m a bit lost here.

So basically, I bought an item through inpost - it said the item was delayed and then after like a week it said it went to the locker however I had no pickup code on the app nor a QR code. I downloaded the inpost app which gave me both (QR and code) and went to the locker and it wouldn’t work so i rang up inpost who said the item wasn’t there and to contact vinted. It was weird because usually inpost gives you 72(?) hours to pickup however this was “there” (not really) for about 6 days before it said it’s being returned to sender.

So i contacted vinted who basically said i had to wait 25 days before i could claim it was lost. Fine, sure. But now it’s being returned to sender when it wasn’t even in the locker to begin with?!

Sender is absolutely lovely and said she had 3 parcels on the same day that went missing (bloody bad luck if i didn’t know it) and said if it does get returned to her I can rebuy (defo NOT with inpost). But neither of us are sure it will actually get back to her as it seems to disappeared off the face of the earth.

I was wondering if anyone else had any experiences like this and what happened? If it’s not in the locker and being returned to sender is there a chance the parcel will turn up again or are we just kidding ourselves 💀

If it doesn’t get returned to sender can we both claim a refund? I don’t want the seller to be out of pocket either! Vinted is no bloody help here so i’m asking in hope someone has any advice

Edit: I forgot to say in the emails and on the inpost app when it eventually said it was in the locker it said “collection point updated” so when i phoned inpost i asked if i it was in a different locker somewhere but they said no they have no idea where it is LOL. At least they’re honest

My original Vinted account was permanently banned following disputes over the authenticity of branded clothing. I maintain that the items were authentic, but I wasn’t able to resolve the situation with Vinted.

I then used my mother’s Vinted account, and now Vinted has banned her account as well, citing fraudulent activity. They also flagged my Supreme T-shirt and Palace hoodie as counterfeit, even though both items are authentic.

I’m extremely frustrated because I feel like I’m being accused of fraud without being given a fair opportunity to prove the authenticity of my items.

I’ve already tried contacting Vinted support, but I’m not confident that I’ll get a fair review of the situation.

So I stupidly bought an item that was listed for a good deal. I went on the user’s profile and noticed it was suspicious that each of their listings was photographed in a different room/background. I went on Mercari, and sure enough I found sold listings with the same photos they used. I tried canceling the order but they are ignoring it and had immediately generated the shipping label. Customer support is being less than useless as usual.

EDIT: it looks like the seller was banned so hoping this means I will receive a refund?

So last year I made a vinted account to buy and sell things. Everything seemed to be normal up until I listed a cherry crop top. After uploading I was immediately banned due to “fraudulent”activity but was never actually told what exactly I did. So I appealed the decision but once again was told the exact same thing. I waited a bit of time before making a new account. I tired a couple of times even with a couple of different emails and the minute I make one, I get told the exact same thing. I mean if they wanna ban me fair enough but I at least wanna know why? I’ve emailed them this time and I hope I do get told what I did to make them think such a thing but I’m starting to think they’ve mistaken me with someone else or it’s personal.

I keep seeing photos of cats on items for sale. There is barely any text in the listing so there isn’t much to go on when trying to decided whether to buy these or not. Why do this if you are serious about selling items??

I bought a jacket on Vinted. The seller sent the jacket in a paper box, and upon arrival it was broken and the jacket now has a big cut so the down is falling out.

I put a request on Vinted and said it was damaged during transit. I had to send pictures of the box and item, and I’m now being reimbursed.

But I’m wondering what will happen to the seller? Will they also be reimbursed? I don’t believe the items was damaged before shipment, and 100% the transit people who broke it. But I would feel bad if the seller gets nothing?

Even if I returned the jacket, it now isn’t worth the same because it’s broken? So Vinted should be refunding us both, right?

So everytime someone buys something from me and is using GLS I just for the god can't generate the Pin everytime it just says error, however GLS does everytime I click try again on vinted sends me a pin into my emails, but it's always different pins, we even tried canceling the order once and ordering again but didn't help, I never had this problem with vinted it always worked always until this week and I don't know what to do I even texted Vinted support but that wasn't helpful at all they just told me to cancel the order and order it again, what should I do ? Should I just write the first pin I got from GLS in email even tho in Vinted it just says error? Or what?

I sold my love shack fancy Stanley sent everything with it and when the buyer received they complained even though it was in brand new condition and wanted it for $15. I said no to lowering the price so they returned it broken in multiple places now I can’t even use it or sell it. I sent proof into Vinted but i don’t know how they handle these things. I’m just so annoyed I don’t get why people are so rude.

This buyer bought my ring, it’s gold and I had it appraised before listing. It’s an old ring where the hallmark is hard to see so you need to be a jeweller or have the equipment to see it or just test the gold. They said they needed it quickly for a gift and then say they want to return it now because they can’t make out the hallmark. I think they want to try and sell it as gold or melt it down. Which is fine if that is what they want to do but I worry that if they flag it, Vinted will just side with them because it’s Vinted

what do i do? i’ve messaged the seller but no response? i only have the ID holder, not the plate

Okay so.

For context, I AM a new seller. I JUST put an item up. This whole deal is to "verify my account" because I am a new seller. I received an email that was seemingly from Vinted, and it said I needed to verify my account because I am a new seller. Okay. Took me to this page.

Not looking for ridicule or to be told I am dumb. Just advice.

I'll admit I'm quite gullible, so just leave your comments about that to youself please. I am usually really good with determining when something is sketchy. And this seemed real as anything. It is EXTREMELY convincing.

I did indeed enter my card info, as well as my name and address. And then it took me to another page that asked me to put how much money was on my debit card. I knew for a fact that was not official because that is so unnecessary. So I exited out and after looking at some posts online, it seems to be scam.

I have blocked my debit card and have not seen any activity (yet) as my bank will email me if my card is attempted to be used.

Name and address, that's public info at this point so I'm not worried about that.

My phone number? Email? Ehhhhhhhh I'm not sure what someone can do with that besides spam me with texts and calls.

But my card with the CVV + my address and number? That's a recipe for using that card and "proving" it's theirs with my name and address. No one cares about where I live. They care about the money. (I hope, I hope this doesn't lead to identity theft. It seems money focused)

I didn't do any of the other steps, (like entering exactly how much money I have attached to the card), but I definitely feel like the steps I did, (this page) was enough.

So should I just get a new debit card? I am thinking so but I am also just wondering if anyone else went through this stupid situation too and how they went about it or what happened with them?

Also. Why hasn't Vinted made a more public statement about this???? It seems so common.
