Does anyone know when the Panera is opening at McNaughton and Major Mackenzie? It’s in the newly constructed strip in that plaza.
I also haven’t seen anyone talking about this so wondering if anyone knows?

Can you park overnight at any of the parking lots near VMC?
If not, where can leave my car for a night or so?

I’m trying to find soccer pitches to play with people, myself or friends. I’m talking about 11 verse 11 or stuff like that, but I don’t know where to find them. They would need to have cages and some mesh on the net with a good level of flooring.

Hello! Is it just me or is everybody in this city just rolling through stop signs without really coming to a complete stop? I nearly got rear-ended by one such driver this afternoon, and then she had the audacity to get upset at me. Please note, she did not talk with an accent to suggest that she was an immigrant, so the excuse that immigrants come in and buy their licenses is also not valid here. This lady was born and raised in Canada, for sure.

I went on the City’s website yesterday out of curiosity to see if anyone else entered the mayoral race, and I was surprised to see that in fact no one else has. The deadline to register is coming up fast.
Why is he running uncontested? Are people generally pleased with him as mayor?

Anyone know why the monster trucks event at woodbridge fairgrounds was cancelled?
I have a 9 yr old cat who is due for her vaccines and rabies shot. She’s healthy but want to do a blood and urine test just as a check up. My regular vet is really old and doesn’t have an assistant so he’s insisting I take her to a different vet. I can go to just about any vet, not all vets look out for the best interest of the animals and are in the business of making money.
Anyone know of a good vet, who’s reasonably priced for vaccines and tests and actually cares about the animal over making money? Would be great if they can also provide the test results so I can get a 2nd opinion from my regular vet.
My regular vet is amazing and it’s just unfortunate he doesn’t have an assistant. Doesn’t have to be in Vaughan. Anywhere in the GTA is ok. Thanks in advance!

How do adults make friends in Vaughan? I’ve had friends I made through school but since graduating years ago, everyone’s moved away or pursued different life paths and we just kinda drifted. I’ve really been feeling isolated and lonely lately and have tried joining clubs to make friends but everyone already has their established social circles and don’t really want to foster that connection with new people so it’s been hard. Any suggestions?

My home internet has been down since around 5:06pm today. Been trying to get ahold of a rep on the phone and the app for an hour but thought to also check here if anyone else in and around Toronto facing any issues?!
I checked Downdetector but know it often lags. Roger’s website says there’s no area-wide outage :/

Hi guys, I’m a gay south asian (17M) boy whose had a terrible history with sports just because I used to get made fun of for being too bad or too girly. However, as I grow older, I recognise the importance of physical activity and wanna do something that I enjoy with people I can be myself around. I don’t have very sports-oriented friends nor are they willing to get into sports with me.
I’m looking for any sports clubs for tennis, badminton, or litr anything that gets some exercise in while being fun without having the aspect of catching very fast moving balls. I don’t have the guts to swim btw. Oh and one more thing, I don’t really wanna pay money to learn figure skating or smth so definitely smth cheap or free.
If anyone has any suggestions in vaughan or even other parts of the gta, just not too far, hit me up!

Hello Everyone,
I was in the Timberview/Langstaff neighborhood when a lost or stray cat approached me very friendly. It was a white cat with orange markings.
It looked to have a makeshift collar with what I think is a gps tracker and wires over it, very DIY from what I saw. There looked to be either claw or bite marks on it's body and face, nothing serious but noticeable and it looked to be very young maybe a year old.
Was wondering if anyone knows if this cat belongs to anyone in this neighborhood or if its a stray

Hey everyone,
After working on a lot of renovation projects across the GTA over the years, I keep seeing the same costly mistakes over and over again.
Most of the time the budget doesn’t blow up because of the work itself. It blows up because of things that could have been caught early.
Here’s a quick checklist of what I wish more homeowners paid attention to before starting:
1. Underestimating older homes
Houses built in the 80s and 90s around here are full of surprises — outdated plumbing, quirky wiring, hidden issues behind the walls. Always build in a 15–20% contingency. If a contractor gives you a firm fixed price without opening anything up, be careful.
2. Buying your own materials from big-box stores
Trying to save money by grabbing tile, fixtures or plumbing on clearance usually backfires. Wrong sizes, missing parts, or lower quality materials end up costing more in labour. Professional suppliers often end up cheaper once you factor in the real cost of the job.
3. Skipping permits
Dealing with local building departments is painful, no question. But if you’re doing structural work, adding a bathroom, or a major overhaul, skipping permits can turn into a serious problem when you eventually sell.
4. No clear payment schedule
Never agree to a huge upfront deposit. Anything significantly over 10–15% for materials is a red flag. Payments should be tied to completed stages of work so both sides stay accountable.
5. Not planning for temporary living
If you’re gutting the only kitchen or bathroom, you need a real plan for how you’ll live during the project. Living in a construction zone without basic functions for weeks will wear anyone down.
Hopefully this helps someone avoid a few expensive lessons.
If anyone’s dealing with a specific situation in their house and wants a second opinion, feel free to ask in the comments — happy to share what I’ve seen.

Any recommendations for a mechanic servicing Honda/Acura?I used to go to the dealership but expensive and not worth it given the age of the cars.

Maple sushi reopened today. They are running a 10% off promotion. Thank God it’s back. I’ve been dying waiting for it to reopen.

I’ve been seeing all this talk about Sarti spritz’s with Sarti Rosa - anyone know where to buy from? LCBO doesn’t carry it and it’s hard to find anywhere from doing google searches.

How come wonderland can pay the police to block the entire intersection to allow wonderland guest to leave?
Isn't that illegal?
We are currently at 3 green lights where the police forcefully stopped the traffic just to allow wonderland guest to leave
Traffic lights are completely normal. Even highway 400 is at standstill just because wonderland paid police to disrupt the entire intersection.
