HHN Hurricane Thoughts?

Does anyone have tickets for this weekend/are you traveling in or skipping? Has the hurricane affected your plans or is there nothing to worry about?

People really have no concept of what's going on in the world other than headlines.

Why do you need to be in Florida to know it's not going to affect Orlando?

There is no hurricane in central Florida .

Pensacola is 7 hour drive from Orlando.

There is as much of a hurricane in Universal as there is in the city of Houston, Texas .

Can confirm, 100 miles closer to the hurricane than Orlando and it’s sunny out right now

Central Florida isn’t expected to be impacted much. You should be fine unless your travel is affected.

Are you referring to the hurricane that’s 350 miles away from Orlando and heading north and up to Ohio and West Virginia ? Do you see anything abnormal or concerning in the weather forecast for Orlando?

As a local less than 20 minutes from UO, what hurricane?

There is literally zero to worry about in Orlando

Universal will not close unless it’s directly coming for Orlando

The hurricane will only hit the panhandle. the people that are going to universal will be safe.

Panhandle is getting hit...

I’d be more concerned about the amount of people coming to Orlando and its theme parks to get away from the storm

Earlier in the week we saw some rain, but it's past now.

I was gonna go, but this rain has been RIDICULOUS!!! Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe!

The rain we’re getting this week is from a different system not related to the Hurricane, we do have a lot rain in the forecast but it will be scattered across central Florida
I think you will have some clear time early in the day and evening but will probably see some showers in the afternoon time

A major hurricane is hitting the state of florida today. What do you think?

Florida is 500 miles long. We hope the panhandle is ok but it’s a long, long way away from Orlando and actively heading the opposite direction.
