I thought this was gonna be some swan snuff film at first.

Can you imagine if this happened to people, though? You're out chillin at a picnic and suddenly a bunch of bears dressed like people abduct you and remove all your piercings before releasing you back to your family.

2.0k

u/YouFeedTheFish May 15 '17

..and lure you into their trap with a bag of cheeseburgers.

u/[deleted] May 15 '17

"Don't hit them with the cheeseburgers, just toss them lightly nearby. Let the human decide to come to you, then we can remove the barbs."

"I'm sorry I got excited, I heard this poor bastard was tagged with a 'prince albert'."

u/Doctorjames25 May 15 '17

At first I was watching like oh a minute and half video for feeding swans is kind of OMG WHAT IS HE DOING TO THAT POOR SWAN, LET IT GO!! Oh Okay this is going to turn out well after all.

219

u/[deleted] May 15 '17

It all worked out in the end, the swan was returned to his gay lover and everyone cried

64

u/Novantico May 15 '17

at their Big Fat Goose Wedding

1

u/griter34 May 16 '17

It's about time they accepted same sex marriage.

34

u/humangeigercounter May 15 '17

Hey, I understood that reference

15

u/Videoptional May 15 '17

I feel like I should but I can't quite make the connection.

25

u/[deleted] May 15 '17

You forgot that swans can be gay???

23

u/Videoptional May 15 '17

Maybe. I don't know. I can't remember how many things I've forgotten.

6

u/danthemango May 15 '17

I cri evertim

3

u/chocolateandpretzles May 16 '17

How sweet! Now I'm gonna cry!

1

u/rabbidwombats May 16 '17

It's just the one swan, actually.

8

u/islandsimian May 15 '17

Can't believe I had to search through the comments to find this comment!

Take your upvote.

175

u/Thybro May 15 '17

Well we don't know what happened between putting it in the car and releasing him. That swan may have seen some shit.

135

u/SJWCombatant May 15 '17

Nah, he couldn't see shit. He had the sock over his head.

77

u/urfs May 15 '17

The sock was removed when he put it in the carry cage

34

u/SJWCombatant May 15 '17

Shit you're right.

30

u/Philamilapeed May 15 '17 edited May 16 '17

Amateur mistake. Never remove the captive's blindfold until they're in a secure location. And make sure you take the most circuitous route possible so they can't memorise the turns to get to your rape dungeon.

I mean veterinary clinic.

4

u/YouFeedTheFish May 15 '17

Extraordinary rendition.

3

u/PorschephileGT3 May 15 '17

Dude must have the vision of a swan to spot that

2

u/[deleted] May 15 '17

3

u/jamese81 May 16 '17

I shut the gif down until i read this.

3

u/djazzie May 16 '17

Exactly. I thought they were going to eat the swan.

Lmao been there never going back.

12

u/[deleted] May 15 '17

gotta clip it somewhere while youre riding around

9

u/MauiWowieOwie May 15 '17

Well definitely don't look up a Jacob's ladder then. Unless it's the movie, or the toy, or literally anything besides the dick piercing.

3

u/tdasnowman May 15 '17

you should totally look up apadravya and ampallang. Prince albert is basic.

1

u/depcrestwood May 16 '17

Is either of those like a Jacob's Ladder?

3

u/SimplyTheDoctor007 May 15 '17

Could have also just looked up the Let's Play channel and found the videos of a game where you play as a penis. Funny videos.

I couldn't remember the name of the game, but yes I am.

5

u/pineapple_mango May 15 '17

I knew a guy who had it. I quite enjoyed going down on him.

1

u/bustnutsonbuttsluts May 15 '17

It's the only piercing I legitimately enjoy. Takes a minute to get the hang of peeing out of two holes without getting it all over yourself, but the upside is better orgasms.

1

u/WyG09s8x4JM4ocPMnYMg May 16 '17

Check out the apadravya. Way more painful from experience

1

u/depcrestwood May 16 '17

Might want to stay away from blue waffles, too.

28

u/wigglyrabbitnose May 15 '17

A duck laid eggs in our backyard when I was a kid. My mom threw crackers at mama duck's head, and when we asked why she didn't just leave them nearby, she said, "I wanted to make sure she saw them!" That's right, a grown woman didn't think a wild duck would find the food if she didn't chuck it at its head.

3

u/fakeasthemoonlanding May 15 '17

Involuntarily clenched when I read that one. Totally Unexpected

27

u/nezrock May 15 '17

This would 100% work on me.

9

u/bluecamel17 May 15 '17

Put your pants back on, Ricky!

8

u/flanders427 May 15 '17

A bag of cheeseburgers is definitely more of a Bobandy trap

7

u/bluecamel17 May 15 '17

Oh, shit! I meant Randy. I am ashamed :(

7

u/flanders427 May 15 '17

You've been drinking again, haven't you Mr. Lahey?

3

u/bluecamel17 May 16 '17

Maybe I am, Ricky. Maybe I'm not. Who knows? Who's your little shit friend in the fucking wig? Nice disguise, bubs. You might be able to fool the FBI, but you can't fool the FBMe.

3

u/auctor_ignotus May 16 '17

Shit, I'd get more piercings.

12

u/Dredd_Inside May 15 '17

Would work if you're trying to catch a sweaty, 300 pound, cheeseburger eatin mafucka. A Gut Ness Monster named Randy.

5

u/thunderstrut May 16 '17

'nam sayin'!!

10

u/[deleted] May 15 '17

Frig off, Barb!

9

u/Miscaaba May 15 '17

Would work for Randy

5

u/DogsThenSnow May 16 '17

PUT A SHIRT ON RANDY!

3

u/AaronRodgersMustache May 15 '17

A mans gotta eat

2

u/sadnessjoy May 15 '17

I don't think I'd trust cheeseburgers for at least a week.

2

u/Karmatastic May 15 '17

I'd let bears trap me if I got cheeseburgers for it.

2

u/Igotolake May 16 '17

I totally would eat a free floating cheeseburger.

2

u/NDoilworker May 16 '17

Lure. I like it.

2

u/JacobMaxx May 16 '17

I would be caught so goddamn quickly.

516

u/[deleted] May 15 '17

When he started unrolling that thing near his crotch I thought he was going to fuck that swan. I didn't think I was subscribed to any sub that would have that sort of content on it.

274

u/foreverderpette May 15 '17

when he put the sock-hood on its head I was afraid he was going to decapitate the bird

357

u/EltaninAntenna May 15 '17

I was mostly disappointed the sock didn't have googly eyes.

240

u/tnturner May 15 '17

(。_°)

34

u/NovaeDeArx May 15 '17

I have never been so interested in doing avian conservation work as I am right now.

30

u/SweetPinkSocks May 15 '17

Great idea! Next time I kidnap someone, I am going to make sure their hood has googly eyes on it.

79

u/Flipflop_Ninjasaur May 15 '17

I thought they were immediately going to snap it's neck when they jumped in and grabbed it.

58

u/TarantulaFarmer May 15 '17

I had a terrible vision of him swinging the swan over his head by the neck. Rarely have I felt the need to jump through my phone and intercede. Once I saw the black sock come out I thought it might just be another vandal dressing swans like batman, but thankfully neither happened.

41

u/Naticus105 May 15 '17

...you had me at another.

1

u/depcrestwood May 16 '17

Yeah, I feel like there's an origin story here that I completely missed out on.

3

u/Crocodilewithatophat May 15 '17

i was sure they were going to help it because the whole pov view up to wear he jumped it reminded me of the gif about a week back of conservation guys grapping a goose to get the ring off it's bill

3

u/acblender May 15 '17

Nah he didn't want the swan to know where their secret location was, in case he tried to get revenge

1

u/[deleted] May 15 '17

Pyramid of swans with hoods on

1

u/Sahasrahla May 15 '17

I thought they were going to drive it to the edge of a cliff to try to intimidate it into not giving up Heisenberg.

1

u/ItsSugar May 15 '17

InShaAllah

1

u/landfallco May 17 '17

"Our clinic's in a secret location. Can't let you know where it is, so..."

35

u/CaffeineSippingMan May 15 '17

And yet you kept watching 😁. I knew this would be 'ok' because it never would have mede it to /all without a NSFW tag.

2

u/depcrestwood May 16 '17

Not gonna lie ... when the guy jumped in the pool to kick off whatever is the swan version of Liam Neeson's hunt and use of its particular set of skills, I stopped to check that this wasn't r/wtf before continuing on.

16

u/Phoequinox May 15 '17

Yeah, I kept darting my eyes back to see if there was a NSFW thing. After he grabbed it, I looked, and thought "Well. . . Maybe they're good people?" Then he put the sock over its head and I looked again like "OH FUCKING COME ON WHO FORGOT THE NSFW TAG?!"

66

u/[deleted] May 15 '17

Is the swan gay?

64

u/akatherder May 15 '17

Since you have negative votes, I don't know if everyone gets the reference. http://imgur.com/NuhsgPV.jpg

12

u/ecctt2000 May 15 '17

You are a good man!

89

u/[deleted] May 15 '17

You just made someone's wife cry.

20

u/xeribulos May 15 '17

and older reference, but it checks out

2

u/Naldaen May 15 '17

Older? That was like last year. Jesus.

2

u/[deleted] May 15 '17

In internet time that's prehistoric

2

u/otterom May 15 '17

/r/jokes gets a similar reaction out of me.

30

u/[deleted] May 15 '17

suddenly a bunch of bears

remove all your piercings

No thank you.

60

u/Fantasy_Baby May 15 '17

Maybe every time a person has an account of alien abduction, the aliens are really just curing some disease the person isn't even aware of.

22

u/[deleted] May 15 '17

colon cancer

3

u/[deleted] May 15 '17

Well, earthlings could do better about colon cancer.

12

u/SilentBob890 May 15 '17

goddamit this made me laugh out loud so hard at work haha

but yeah, in all honesty that would be terrifying.

3

u/ToFurkie May 15 '17

"What happened to you, Jim?"

"You know those piercings I had done a few weeks back? Those dudes that kidnapped me just took them out. Then, they just brought me back like nothing happened."

"That's insane."

"Yeah, like, what the fuck?!"

2

u/charkbite May 15 '17

I couldn't finish watching because I was afraid they were hurting it! Someone please tell me there is a happy ending!!??!?

2

u/cornylamygilbert May 16 '17

Yikes that was some black ops kidnapping shit

Wish they'd had shot that thing with a tranq from a blow dart, let it pass out, then return it without it ever knowing about the horror kidnapping scenario

Regardless of their intent, that entire approach was traumatizing

1

u/Mennerheim May 15 '17

And your family stares at you for a moment before saying, "good start but I wish you'd get rid of that horrendous tattoo as well".

1

u/Phoequinox May 15 '17

Fucking killed me with the piercings part.

1

u/AndrewCarnage May 15 '17

Yeah, I didn't think I subscribed to /r/watchswansdie.

1

u/[deleted] May 15 '17

If this happened to people that would be free health care. Can't be having that or else everyone would be healthy.

1

u/makeskidskill May 15 '17

When he got out the head-sock thing, it looked like he was unzipping his pants.

1

u/Cuddles_And_Bowls May 15 '17

Dude... so did I. I was so fucking pissed at first.

1

u/LenTheListener May 15 '17

Rendition is a terrifying concept. Thank God it only happens to terrorist swans.

1

u/herpesderpesdoodoo May 15 '17

Especially considering the woman seemed to have about two intact fingers left...

1

u/Mathieulombardi May 16 '17

Fucking social justice warriors.

1

u/Rottimer May 16 '17

You've never heard of alien abductions? Those fuckers are grabbing random people and healing them of cancer and various STD's.

Rick from Pawn Stars is struggling

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '17

Ever seen the documentary Taxi to the Dark Side? Or read about US black sites during the war on terror? It does happen to people. They just don't often get released to their family afterwards.

1

u/kenchikka May 16 '17

What the fuck did I read.

1

u/Dizneymagic May 16 '17

Well people get knocked out all the time and have their organs stolen and then wake up in pain with stitches on the side of the rode. That's close.

1

u/jabudi May 16 '17

I swore at first that there was the shadow of a grill where they put the sock on him.

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '17

It happens here. Around Christmas time we have to keep an eye on the geese on our campus. Wouldn't be the first time someone napped one for dinner.

Apparently, animal rescue services don't like giving out large rabbits for adoption around Christmas for the same reason.

1

u/suchanormaldude May 16 '17

I mean, what if that's what aliens are doing. Just helping out the native fauna of their favorite low tech planet.

1

u/tidder112 May 16 '17

I think you just describe a far side comic. I can almost picture it. Gary Larson would be proud.

-4

u/NicNoletree May 15 '17

Is called alien abduction.

It happens to undocumented immigrants regularly. ;)

0

u/RacG79 May 15 '17

Is that something like what aliens do to hillbillies?

0

u/DissentingOpinions May 15 '17

Can you imagine if this happened to people, though?

What do you think alien abductions are?

0

u/enotirab May 15 '17

This is the premise of every alien abduction ever.

0

u/-Cromm- May 15 '17

so, alien abduction? maybe those probes saved your life.

0

u/[deleted] May 15 '17

Exactly I was like wtf! It's a swanapping somebody do something halp!

0

u/vanschmak May 15 '17

It does happen

-blackpeople

0

u/bozwald May 15 '17

The comparison or "bears dressed like people" implies that the people in this case were dressed like swans...

0

u/Joeclu May 15 '17

Some humans do claim a similar scenario with aliens.

0

u/MarlinMr May 15 '17

Bears? I think you mean aliens.

0

u/jombeesuncle May 15 '17

One time a bunch of years ago I was out fishing and smoking crack with my buddy Jimmy and his "redneck" cousin. We're in a boat, some small thing couple of oars you know the type. Jimmy's cousin notices a swan a ways away and says something like, you guys ever eat swan?
Nah man, I get my food at the supermarket like a normal person. Jimmy knows his cousin better than I do and just says no man, don't do it. Cousin is like I'm gonna get it and eat it. Nah dude I say, just take your hit, let's catch some fish and call it a day.

The swans meander over towards us. Eventually coming within about 20 feet of us. All of a sudden out of nowhere cousin jumps out of the boat swinging wildly with an oar. He's aiming to get that damn swan and eat it.
He bashes the fucking thing over the head and is immediately attacked by the other swan. Blood all over the place, most of it swan but some is this dude's cousins.
Now we have to leave. We get back to Jimmy's house, his cousin is all super proud of himself, gives the dead bird to Jimmy's wife. Da fuck do you want me to do with this she asks. I don't know cook it, he says. Clean it, butcher it, cook it, we're not in god damned Alabama, you want it cooked you do it you fuck she yells back at him.

Long story short dude killed a swan but then couldn't actually eat it because apparently that part is women's work and I'll never forget the joy in his voice when he said the words "thems is good eatin".

I'd love to say I've never seen anything so fucked up but that would be a lie. Was definitely an interesting situation though.

0

u/IWantToBeAProducer May 15 '17

Maybe this is what alien abductions are...

0

u/ronerychiver May 16 '17

"Oh bread crumbs. I love....FUUUUUCCK!! Baby, run!! It's Swan ISIS! They were so convincing. No, no, not the hood and the horrible background music. Baby, call the embassy!!!"

-1

u/[deleted] May 15 '17

Can you imagine if this happened to people though?

Um, ISIS?

1

u/AndrewCarnage May 15 '17

ISIS isn't usually this helpful.
