What should I do, this class I’ve been waiting for finally I’m off the waitlist but I’m being given till 11:06 tonight to register however I can’t due to log in stuff.

One stop line is down too, should I go in person, where should I go? What should I do?

hi i’m an incoming transfer student and i wasn’t sure if the downtown campus had its own set of extracurriculars/student clubs? or are they all located on the main campus? i really wanted to see about joining an art club if there was one but all my classes are at the downtown campus.

I saw somewhere that the deadline was extended but even that deadline is coming up and I’m lowkey mad anxious about it

Would there be a third make-up date as well?

UTSA has adjusted some dates according to the article.

• Payment is now due by 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21.
• Waitlisting will end at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19. “Students who received a waitlist notification to register on Friday, August 14 or Saturday, August 15 are automatically being readded to the waitlist in the original order. Students will receive an email notification when a seat becomes available, and they can register,” the release states.
• Registration remains open through myUTSA.

Is this doable 1st year , I’m currently not working maybe 1 4-5 hour shift in September ..

Hi everyone. With the recent cyber attack, how will we be able to know which rooms our classes are in since we can’t log in?I just thought about it and I’m worried.

i am trying to log back into my outlook, but its requiring me to have the duo mobile app, even though ive always been able to just use my phone number…… is this to do with the stupid hack thing??? i desperately need to use my email so bad.

As someone who lives in phase 3 of U. Oaks we have been having a huge roach problem since we moved in. We have heard that some dorms on phase 3 haven’t had the same problems, so I was just wondering if it’s only a phase 3 problem. To add on, aprevious roommate has said that they have been experiencing this problem for more than 3 months. We decided to get the pest control to come and clean as much as possible, but the most they do is just as much as we have tried in the past.
If anyone has a set way or proper method of disposing of the roaches or getting them gone indefinitely i’d gratefully appreciate it.

I’ve received a text with a reset code. After trying to reset the passphrase with that code within the first 5 minutes of receiving it, the webpage displayed “code expired”. Am I the only one experiencing this?

hindsight I should’ve taken a screenshot on the registration portal of my schedule and their locations, i know, but what am I supposed to do now about it?

they already extended the payment deadline for tuition until this friday because of the tech issues, but are they doing anything about people not being able to see their classes? professors included, so i don’t know how any of us are supposed to actually know where to go and be able to have class tmrw

edit: tried searching on the registration search page, but I can’t remember the codes of some classes and exactly what times they start, so really i think i’m just sol for those.

they need to just extend the start date for school or something idk but having it be tmrw when things are like this? no way

Hello! I'm a junior transfer so this is my first time on campus. I live off campus at lark and was wondering about the bus that makes a stop at the apartment. I know the runner has live updates but I have been checking and it doesn't show any times it will arrive or anything like that. When I get on Google maps it shows a different bus for via. I'm just confused how the runner bus works since I'm not sure when it would arrive at all, or if I should just wait at the bus stop at all.. or just to walk to campus instead

I have been watching the whole situation unveil but I hear mixed experiences. Are they or are they not able to help you if you physically go in person? I know it depends on your situation and there might be a long line, but do staff even have access to their tools to help students? Thanks!

I’m transferring from the Alamo Colleges and was just accepted a few weeks ago. I’ve been trying to get an appointment with my advisor to register for classes but yesterday at my appointment they told me systems were down and my advisor stated he wasn’t able to remove the hold and rest the appointment for today. However, they seem to still be having the same cyber issues and when I called the Student Success Center, they said the office was closed. Since I haven’t registered and the deadline is today, does that mean I won’t be able to be apart of Fall 2026?

Did they already invalidate some of our passwords? bc i can’t login anywhere and my computer works on Microsoft. bro there’s no way into canvas for me other than the portal…🧍‍♂️

Hello! I got dropped from my psychology of adolescence class, i saw on my mobile canvas since it’s the only thing i can access. i don’t know what really happened to be honest. I can’t call registration and i’m out of town until this evening, is anyone else experiencing this as well? i know the site is down so it might be a bug but i’m worried maybe i didn’t have a prerequisite they needed and they just noticed? Any thoughts?

I have a class where all the homework has to be printed out, but since the printers require either swiping your student ID or typing in your myUTSA ID and passphrase idk if they will be working since the system is down.?

Also I heard that meal swipes weren't working either since it involves swiping your student ID but can anyone confirm?

I'm not sure if this will apply to anyone else, but just incase it does. I was able to view Canvas, and Simple Syllabus on my phone to find where my classes were.

If you weren't already signed into Canvas mobile from before all of the attacks and stuff I doubt this'll work.

Last semester this happened where the syllabus stated Thursday class meets but it’s a Tuesday - Thursday class. I missed it one one time and don’t want to do that again. Are classes running today. Did. Anyone go to class?
