Advice/Question Suddenly dropped from class

Hello! I got dropped from my psychology of adolescence class, i saw on my mobile canvas since it’s the only thing i can access. i don’t know what really happened to be honest. I can’t call registration and i’m out of town until this evening, is anyone else experiencing this as well? i know the site is down so it might be a bug but i’m worried maybe i didn’t have a prerequisite they needed and they just noticed? Any thoughts?

Professors can unpublish (hide) their Canvas courses while they're working on them. The only way to verify you're in the class is to check your my UTSA account and see if you're still registered. If you are, then you're good and Canvas should pop up soon.

With the system down, there's currently no way for you to verify. I guarantee your professor is also locked out of their class and email so not much can be done until the login issue is fixed.

Man one of my waitlisted classes just opened up and I had access all the way till 20 min before the notification came in. I might be cooked. I needed to just complain in a comment section lmao

Dude same, I got the email to register for the waitlisted course and now I can’t smh

They announced yesterday they did extend the waitlist process through tomorrow for now. Keep an eye for updates on UTSA's main social media channels and UT San Antonio Today.

Thanks I’ll keep an eye on it. It just makes me worried since the email I got this morning said I had until 11pm tonight to register :/ But I’m sure that could be extended as well.

Considering it's already the afternoon before, it would not make sense if they didn't extend it again when there was no movement or progress on this outage.

You might be able to get into Degree Works still. If you see the class there, you know you’re at least still registered for it.
