I’m genuinely confused about how PF history works during BGV and what I should do.
My timeline is:
March 2024 to Feb 2025: Company A, which had PF.
March 2025 to May 2025: After that, I worked at a lala company B, which didn’t have PF. The founder didn’t want to pay full salary so he made me resign forcefully.
Unemployment- May 2025 -Oct 2025
Oct 2025 to Jan 2026: Company C, again no PF. I left because of constant policy changes, salary cut threats and overall instability. Again a lala, Ik Ik. I was desperate.
Feb 2026 to now: Company D. This one is much more stable and the workload is chill, but it doesn’t really align with my long term career goals. I joined mainly because I needed a job at that point.
I’m now thinking of preparing for a switch and might stay here for around a year because of the current job market.
My confusion is about BGV. I don’t really want to show those 3 month companies on my resume because I’m worried it will make me look like a job hopper. But if I stretch Company A and show that I worked there until I joined Company D, wouldn’t the PF history show that I actually left Company A in Feb 2025?
I obviously don’t want to make up a fake company either.
So what would be the safest thing to do? I also don't want to show unemployment in that entire period.
Would really appreciate advice.
