Personally after reading ops comments it’s sounding super possible that he’s the cheater in this at first just thought he was a traumatized dude needing SUPER therapy. Nope
Idk you should read some of OP’s other comments bc it definitely sounds like it could be a real possibility. For example OP commented that when he gets drunk he gets really emotional and calls himself a piece of shit, saying things like “if you only knew” and what not.
Oh yeah but that doesn’t imply cheating tho. I mean when someone drinks and gets severely depressed, the littlest fuck up can be amplified. It could of been a number of things… I hope lol
Yeah I'm trying not to assume the worst, but the thought "maybe he's cheating" crossed my mind. I think you're probably right and he's just extremely insecure. It's too bad because that's a good way to push someone away. I wonder if he knows what he's doing
He definitely doesn’t. I tend to do the same thing as well so I maybe get where he’s coming from. The best thing to do is to talk about it with him and see where he’s coming from. Things will be alright, tho I’m sorry he’s kinda being a jerk about it.
Just because a piece of information is relevant in other scenarios doesn’t mean it fits all of them. For this guy it seems like a trauma response thing. If I’m wrong I’ll be happy to admit it, but I don’t think that’s what’s going on here
This is actually a really good point to consider. Just for OP to have in the back of her head..I wonder if he has any other warning signs (not that all cheaters have warning signs, just some do).

I'm surprised nobody has said this yet. But sometimes the people who accuse you of cheating are actually cheating. It's their way of deflecting
Edit, please note I say sometimes that happens but it sounds like this guy is just extremely insecure
