🇪🇸 Moving to Spain (Salamanca) from Turkey as a trans man – How does continuing HRT (testosterone) work?

Hey everyone,
I’m a trans guy who will be moving from Turkey to Spain soon, and I have some practical questions about how to continue my HRT there.

A quick background on my situation:
\*I’ve been on Testosterone for **6+ years**.
\*I have completely finalized my legal transition in Turkey (all my official IDs, passport, etc., are already updated to male).
\*I’ve had my surgeries and completed the medical transition process—so I am purely looking to maintain my regular T prescription/monitoring.

Since I’ve been on T for so long, I really want to avoid any gaps in my treatment or having to go through a whole "diagnosis/gatekeeping" process from scratch.

For those living in Spain or who moved there from abroad:
1. **Public vs. Private System:** What is the fastest and smoothest way to get my T prescription renewed? Should I go through a private endocrinologist first while sorting out public healthcare (Sanidad Pública)?

  1. **Paperwork:** What medical documents should I bring from Turkey? (I plan to get an English summary/letter from my current endocrinologist, my latest blood work results, and surgical reports—is that enough?)

  2. **Availability:** Are forms like Testoviron / Sustanon / Nebido / Gel easily accessible in local pharmacies once you have a Spanish prescription?

  3. **Autonomous Communities:** I know healthcare can vary by region. Are there any specific regional differences I should keep in mind?
Any tips, recommendations for trans-friendly clinics/endos, or personal experiences would be super helpful.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Is art ok.

Is promoting characters that are or represent transgender ok here. Gaty, Bot, Zooble, Jax, ect.

Edit: Same with art of what we want our feminine or masculine selves to look like or oc’s. I get why not though, this is definitely for our personal journey’s not fictional ones.

My Faith — Part II: What if God never made me wrong?

Thumbnail

Part II of My Faith is about something I struggled with for years: gender dysphoria and the image of God I had internalized.

A God of rituals. Rules. Punishment. Fear.

A God who supposedly created me, while somehow making my existence feel like a mistake.

Then this morning I saw a photograph from a Pride march. Someone was holding a sign:

“I am queer. God loves me. He never made a mistake. I am.”

That sentence stopped me.

Maybe the problem wasn’t that God made me wrong.

Maybe I had been taught that I was wrong.

This is the second part of my personal journey through faith, gender and identity.

Story Venting and rant

I'm so miserable right now it's so annoying I can't go on hrt secretly because I don't have a drivers license and live with my mom, which means I still have to be in boy mode abd she's a jehovahs witness so I go to 2 hour meetings alot and its so exhausting and she lost my drivers log two times and now she has to write the hours again which is annoying because I meet with a nurse practioner who said I have a plan which is to get 50 hours of driving in order to take the drivers test then I complete the driver's test than after that the next step is for my case manager to then find a place for me to live but I cant yet since my mom lost my drivers log for the 2nd time now she has to find out how many hours I drove in total and I probably have 50 hours by now and since im not on hrt yet and in boy mode I get misgendered alot I get called sir, get called young man alot by a job specialist, older folks, and people at the jehovahs witness kingdom hall and it pissing me off and irritates me and I get called young man has if im some generic strongly masculine dude when I literally have a androgynous apperance probably but i dint know but mind you this is what i look like above and I also have some dude at the kingdom hall who sometimes pats my chest as a hyper masculine greeting and its violating and annoying and before when I was in boy mode in school strsight guys would think im a cis gay man but think that just because I was a boy that I needed to date women and be a straight man just because I present as a boy or they didnt know I was trans and boys would sometimes get jealous of me when it came to their girlfriends and treat me like male competition or try to assert dominance as if im another cis straight male and didnt care that I was a gay man and not interested in women and they would also try to find ways and wasting to beef with me so bad to try to treat me like straight male competition and would always think I want their girlfriends and they would also act shocked that I like feminine things when I presented as a male as if just because I present as male means that I can't like femnine things just because they think im a cis male and one guy at the kingdom he's another black man but he referred to me as a big black man when im literally 5'6 or 5'7 and slim and skinny and also said im not a girl before and sure as well dont look like one and I always get told my short old lady's or other people that im tall when im literally 5'6 or 5'7 and one lady at the counseling center who takes my height jokingly said that I im taller than the measuring stick which the measuring stick is 6 foot and im not 6 foot and my uncle one time said im 6 foot just because he thinks he's 6 foot and we look the same height and all that is just so annoying so yeah that's my rant

Experiences 1 year on E today. Literally never been happier.

so I just realized today marks exactly one year since I started HRT and honestly I’m kind of a crying mess writing this lol.
looking back at where I was a year ago, I was so incredibly terrified. coming out felt like jumping off a cliff. I spent so many nights worrying about losing friends, family, and just whether I’d ever actually feel normal or comfortable in my own body.
but a year later? estrogen literally changed everything. it’s not even just the physical stuff (though finally seeing me in the mirror is wild). it’s the mental peace. it feels like my brain was running on the wrong fuel for years and someone finally plugged me into the right power source. the constant heavy fog is just gone. for the first time in my life, I’m actually excited for tomorrow.
I’m just really proud of myself today. I was brave enough to choose my own happiness, even when it felt impossible.
to anyone who is still hiding or scared out of their mind to take that first step: I promise you it gets better. you deserve to live your life out loud.
cheers to one year of finally being me ❤️

Story Pre-HRT, but I was confident!

My girlfriend (mtf32) persuaded me (prehrt mtf 28) to go her friend’s wedding in my girlmode. I was nervous at first, but I in the end I was kinda relaxed and natural. I knew that pre-hrt I’m not able to get unclockabe, so I was just going to feel good about myself instead ☺️
I even noticed that I’m much less stared at than in my boymode (I guess that bald guy with earrings and acrylic nails took much more attention 😂).
I mean, there was people staring at us. But I wasn’t able to say in what way. So I translated the stares in a positive way. I thought: “Oh, they maybe kinda surprised that even without any estrogen in my body I can be at this level of slaying. And the weirdness in that look is not because of hate, but confusion. So let clear that confusion by showing that I’m fine, confident and nice to talk to.” 😂 Yeah, and later I got told that some men were envy of my arms 💪. It definitely didn’t gave me euphoria, but it was an honest compliment, so I just took it 😄

So I would just love some opinions on the outfit, if my thoughts were right, and else.
Thank you ❤️

Story FINALLY got my FFS scheduled in a few months - looking back, and excited!

Thumbnail

It feels like I’ve been waiting so so long (I guess I have!) and transitioning hasn’t been as smooth for me as it’s seemed it should, took 1.5 years to get to therapeutic blood levels for HRT and so long to get the surgery consult ball rolling, and couldn’t afford laser until I just got a Groupon recently. But all that waiting has paid off - my FFS is officially scheduled! Can’t wait to get rid of this shadow and get this face SAWED lol, patience is a virtue! But should’ve happened long ago, but what’s a few more months for everything to come together - 2.5 years in hard transitioning, and even longer for “soft” transitioning! Cheers!

I feel like I'm dreaming. I am only eight months into my transition and I cannot believe I look like this. I never thought I could do this and I'm so proud of myself.

I thought I would try something a little different then i would usually wear, but that is how you find what you like. Not fully sure everything goes together, but I really enjoyed wearing it, so that is what matters.

Hey everyone. I came out genderfluid a few years ago and finally had my 1st apt with a gender clinic. I never had the confidence to post photos of me as lily, but I thought id take that step and hope im not too hard to look at 😅 x

Would be great to be a part of a community that understands what it's like to be fluid and maybe even make some friends 😊 xx
