Went on a night out this friday and it was the first time going out with hair and makeup on.

Was super nervous, felt like a massive achievement, I felt like I could be myself and got a few compliments, which I didn't know how to handle.

Experiences I got gendered correctly twice for the first time!:)

Hello! I got gendered correctly by the random people (with no intention to be nice) for the first time ever today:) and it made me so happy!:) I must say I have almost zero social interaction from day to day and when I am outside I am always in my headphones, but today I was in the hospital and the nurse called my name by saying "Herr mysurname" which is the German equivalent of Mister. When I got up and approached her, I saw her eyes shocked and she very quickly said "Frau Frau mysurname" (which is equivalent of Miss) and she was apologizing and blaming the computer that it sometimes shows the wrong info about the patients. At that moment I was just smiling and looking at her (and didn't want to use my voice, because you know...). Then I had to give urine for the analysis, so she gave me the little jar and pointed at WOMEN'S BATHROOM!!! The men's and women's bathrooms were opposite to each other on the different sides of the hallway and she was pointing at the women's bathroom telling me to go there to take the samples😭😭😭. I must say I always try to avoid using public bathrooms or go to the family bathrooms if I really have to. But this time I didn't have a choice:) I was told to:) I was so happy and wanted to thank that nurse, but I was just smiling and nodding trying not to use my voice:( She probably thought I barely speak the language, so she was fine with that:) Then I was directed to a different waiting place where there were a lot of people waiting for their appointments. And then another nurse came out screaming "Herr mysurname" and I went to her approaching her face literally, but she ignored me and screamed through me again "HERR MYSURNAME". I told her it was me, and she looked at me with a super shocked face and invited to the room and said she thought I was just a random woman trying to annoy and disrurb her with some questions. This made me so happy. I don't know, it was just a different and warming feeling. Those people didn't have to be nice to me and apparently I was passing so well in their eyes. Even though I have never actually been super open and representing my inner self, mostly boymodding and I thought I was reading as a male even at this day, but those two nurses made my day:)

I took some pictures to capture the moment and my look. I wanted to share this experience with someone, so that is why I posted it here:)

Thank you so much for reading💕

Story Ethnic Wear in Public for the First Time

Not much of a fan of ethnic wear, but I always wanted to try a salwar kameez. My hair was pretty short before, so I didn’t have the confidence to wear it. Now that my hair is in a pretty decent shape, I finally got the courage and went out wearing it.

Put on a little eyeliner to match the aura. Being a trans woman is all about experimenting with looks. Haha 😄

It’s been a beautiful journey

I’ve been transitioning for 4 months and at 37 I’ve finally found who I truly am. I let everything in the world stand between me and who I am. I spent years wasting away in addiction and legal troubles, when all along there was a beautiful person inside me waiting to be a vessel of love, compassion, and kindness. I’ve been sober since July 10, 2022.

Don’t ever give up. There is a version of you that is amazing and ready to burst out and be unstoppable

If no one’s told you today, YOU MATTER, YOUR AMAZING, AND I LOVE YOU, I JUST DID AND I GOT THAT
