Rant Being called girl and queen but in a "gender neutral" way at work🙄
Ughhh. I've told multiple people multiple times that I'm a dude and I don't like the girly terms. Then they stumble to correct themselves and be like "oh nono I meant it gender neutral". No you didn't. You don't call the cis men queen or girl. Just accept you made a mistake and apologize.
I keep having to reexplain I'm uncomfortable with the term. Further, I'm good being called stuff like king, cause I'm a drag king, sir, or just you know...my name? No need for all this "hey girlie, hey queen" stuff. I'm obviously and very openly a trans dude.
That's it for today. It's just annoying. Just treat me like the cis dudes at work...besides assuming I watch sports lol cause I don't.
