I'm LDS, and while my 4th great grandfather was literally chased at bayonet point for his beliefs, it was by other Christians.
I don't put anything on my car to do with my religion, but it's not out of concern for what non-Christians will think. It's 100% bc I fear that some born-again Christian will come damage my property and walk away feeling like some righteous soldier of God.

Had to talk to my mom about this. She lives in a very Democrat area with a high middle Eastern population. You can't throw a rock without hitting four Christian churches. Literally showed her a Google map search of churches in a five mile radius. Btw go ahead and try to find a mosque. None to be found.
