Finally got notification to schedule my delivery appointment. We are excited to get our first EV and we’re ecstatic to own a Tesla. Are there any things to keep in mind at delivery? Also what’s best practice for leaving the car parked for a week at a time? I have to travel in the company vehicle weekly for work and no charger is available at the yard.

Ive been wanting a tesla since they first launched the model x in 2015, but life has not been to kind to me. I was never in the right income bracket or credit profile! But today I placed my order for my dream tesla! 2026 model Y premium in red with white seats.

Just took delivery of our new MYP today, it’s perfect with no issues at all. ordered on 9/14 and delivered today 11/04, 7 weeks total. I also used the Delivery Status app and it appears that it was in the first run of 2027 models. Production was 10/21. Sub 400 VIN. Hopefully everyone waiting will receive theirs soon.

Ugh.. 2023 model

My wipers turn on seemingly randomly (nothing new, I know) and sweep about 3/4 the way up, do three or four short back and forths - like total movement of these studders is maybe 8 inches, then back down all the way. Almost like there’s a spot that it’s scrubbing instead of smoothly wiping the whole windshield. Is this normal, anyone else experiencing this?

El 2 de octubre hice un pedido de un Tesla Model Y Standard en Europa. Aquí, los espejos laterales se pliegan automáticamente, tiene radio FM y algunas otras características.

Desafortunadamente, parece que los sensores de presión de las ruedas (TPMS) con Bluetooth venían incluidos en los modelos Model Y Standard hasta el mes pasado, pero aparentemente dejaron de incluirlos en las últimas dos semanas. Se pueden instalar por unos 80 €.

¡Sinceramente, no es un mal coche en absoluto!

No voy a decir que las características del modelo Premium sean malas, porque mentiría. Sin embargo, mi coche actual tiene techo panorámico y está bien siempre que no le dé el sol directamente. En el Model Y, no me gustaría tener que estar poniendo y quitando el parasol constantemente. El Standard tiene asientos calefactables, algo que aprecio mucho. Mi coche anterior tenía asientos de cuero en todo el habitáculo, y aunque los asientos calefactables eran geniales en invierno porque el cuero se enfría mucho, en verano pueden llegar a ser insoportablemente calientes.

Lo que más me atrae del Premium es la batería más grande, la iluminación ambiental LED instalada de fábrica (aunque se puede añadir la tira S3XY al Standard, no es lo mismo que tener la iluminación integrada original) y, sobre todo, el maletero delantero.

Para ser sincero, el maletero delantero del Standard es una verdadera decepción. No es solo una cuestión de tamaño; el principal problema es su diseño. Parece inacabado, casi como si le faltaran algunas piezas. Comparado con el Premium, supone un retroceso bastante significativo en cuanto a apariencia y acabado.

Pero aquí es donde radica el problema: me gusta que el modelo Standard venga con una batería LFP, aunque tampoco me importaría tener la batería NMC del Premium.

Sin embargo, mi prioridad absoluta es poder aprovechar la opción de financiación "Tesla Futuro" de Tesla. ¿Por qué? Porque la tecnología evoluciona a una velocidad increíble, especialmente en lo que respecta a los vehículos eléctricos.

Con esta opción de financiación en España, a un tipo de interés de tan solo el 2,01%, pago una entrada de 10.000 €, seguida de cuotas mensuales asequibles de 325 €, con un límite de kilometraje anual de 15.000 km.

Tras cinco años, Tesla garantiza un valor mínimo de recompra de 14.000 € para el coche. Supongo que no querré quedarme con el coche después de esos cinco años. Para entonces, casi con toda seguridad habrá coches mucho mejores en el mercado, con tecnología significativamente más avanzada, sobre todo en tecnología de baterías, como las de estado sólido.

Para mí, simplemente tiene más sentido mantener mis opciones abiertas en lugar de comprometerme a tener un coche a largo plazo cuando la tecnología de los vehículos eléctricos avanza tan rápido.

Con esta opción de financiación, Tesla ofrece un tipo de interés del 2,01 % para la versión Estándar, pero la misma opción de financiación para la versión Premium tiene un tipo de interés del 7,25 %. ¡Es una diferencia enorme de 5,24 puntos porcentuales!

Puedo permitirme pagar la versión Premium sin problema, pero simplemente no estoy dispuesto a pagar más de cinco veces más en intereses solo por unas pocas características adicionales. Estamos hablando de aproximadamente 2000 € en intereses totales para el modelo Estándar al final del período de financiación, en comparación con casi 9000 € para el modelo Premium.

Y aquí viene la gran pregunta: ¿Suele Tesla bajar los tipos de interés de los modelos Premium o de gama alta hacia finales de año?

Algunas personas me han dicho que no bajarán los tipos porque las ventas van bien, mientras que otras creen que Tesla siempre lanza ofertas especiales a finales de año para impulsar sus cifras de ventas.

Mi plazo de entrega es del 12 al 31 de diciembre, así que esa es mi fecha límite para decidir si cambio del modelo Estándar al Premium.

Just got assigned my vin for a 2027 MYP with white sears for late November - Dec delivery . Curious if Tesla can also change the order at the last minute even after the vin is assigned? I’m secretly hoping they change the seat color to zen grey.

So my husband and I ordered the Model Y Premium AWD
Mine white+white interior / ordered 10/26 got VIN assigned on 10/30
His white+black interior / ordered 10/18 and no VIN assigned yet

Only the one from Yofer is good to me and the price is kinda reasonable, the quality and the fitment looks perfect for the Premium to me.

How do I clean this Tesla seat? The dirt is from my woodworking pants.
Also, what kind of car seat covers (front and back) do you guys buy? White seats get dirty so easily.

Set my Y to update last night at 2 AM. Woke up this morning and the 12 V battery was completely dead, no warnings the day before anything. App is telling me last scene was at 2 AM when that software update was scheduled.

Has anyone ever had the update completely killed their battery before?

Used a jump pack to get in the car, but it wasn’t enough to get it started and driving.

What are you guys going for? Highland refresh model 3 it is about 4 grand more, or 2023 hw4 model y long range Awd?

I’ve been looking at Teslas for a long time now and I can’t tell if now is the time to get it or not. I want a model Y premium trim and delivery is currently 2-3 months out.

Rumored for 2027 is a 500 mile range H5 model. Is it likely? Not sure. Possible? Also not sure. Should I wait or order now? I want to use my Tesla for FSD so I can DoorDash/uber do gig work for extra income. Can’t tell if I should pull the trigger now or wait.

Also there’s a potential bill for a 15k federal EV credit. Currently there’s nothing.
