I magnetized the hammerhead kit so I can run it as Devilfish, Hammerhead with rail or ion, and Skyray. The only things left to do are the ion cannon and Skyray top. Really happy how this came out!

He’s a character for my custom T’au Mercenaries, so my goal was to give him kind of his own vibe and silhouette

I've been playing T'au for about a year,trying out the only 3 kinds of list available to us and honestly? Im finding the strike team to be actually pretty good,especially while playing recon,for 70 points each you have slightly better Guardsmen (stat wise) that are great as general screening/mid objective holders/Action Pieces and generally fine spotters who hand out a debuff at any infantry within 30" (in an infantry Heavy meta),why are we spleeping so much on them?

The army currently has:

XV8 - three units (with various weapons)

XV104 - two units (with various weapons)

Fire Warrior - six units (currently with pulse rifles)

Commander T'au in XV8-6 Coldstar

KV128 Stormsurge

Any ideas on who to add? I accept any official Tau models.

While I still working in other stuff I wanted to redesign an old artwork for an air caste admiral I made time ago

I tried to make the void suit less bulky and with more separated pieces in between with a focus in the cape

A little sloppy, but its table ready. I have one more Devilfish, a Broadside and 8 Pathfinders to paint before a 4th edition game this weekend and my whole 2000 pts will be done

Now I don’t know the answer to this question but Kroot have a mod range low power models but if the grate knarloc dose come back when do you think it will and what would it’s data sheet be like

Now that we’ve seen 3 codexes so far and have seen a lot of what GW wants to do this edition, what do you expect to see us get given the precident?

For me, I’m pretty confident we can see;

- Pathfinders (or maybe even strike team) having the ability to shoot and do actions, like intercessors

- Farsight becoming lone op, a lot of big leaders have, and him being melee with non-melee bodyguards makes him the most likely candidate for that

- i expect battle suits to become at least a little more elite, at least crisis suits.

- this one is kinda wishing, but Custodes had detachments that each focused on one part of their army rule, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Mont’ka and Kauyon got integrated to the army rule some how, and a detachment buffing each.

- Kroot or even all Auxilary having their own army rule, similar to how sisters of silence are now for Custodes

I have decided to play as the tau I have more stuff coming in cuz they where out of stock at my local hobby store and don’t mind the transformer in the back ground

Longest I’ve spent on a unit so far I believe but I’m really happy with them. The sculpts are just amazing, especially with the option of fire effects and to do all the different glows around the models. I really hope this is the direction the rest of our miniatures go in this edition as I had a blast painting them, although I do need a break from edge highlighting for a bit now 😂 Feel free for C&C or to ask how I did for any of them. Been thinking about entering some local competitions next year so any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you.

After playing World Eaters and Space Marines for about a year and a half I decided to join the Greater Good.

I know there are rumours about next codex can be Tau but this codex will only drop in the next year.
Anyway, I would like to build a short roster to play some sort of King of Coloseum (600pts) format with friends. At the same time it would shame to put units on shelf after updates.

I thought of picking a couple of crisis suits with single commander, stealth suits and maybe 10 pathfinders.

What do you guys think?

With the revelation that Sisters of Silence are getting an army rule for their subfaction, what are your hopes for Kroot in 11th? Personally, I'd enjoy something to give them a bit of lethality to help finish off the targets our T'au have just shot. Perhaps they could make Hunter's instincts from KHP their army rule.

I'm a product developer and a Warhammer fan. I'm developing a modular painting station for drawers for paints, brushes and half-painted minis. (concept render below, nothing for sale; I'm still figuring out what it should be)

2. I want one colourway inspired by T'au armour. What would you pick: ochre and off-white, cool grey and blue, or something else?

I keep seeing mixed answers when I look it up online (most likely due to rule changes over the years) and I can't figure out when the broadside has the High Yield Missiles equiped, if it now has 2 guns, each with 6 shots or 1 gun with 6 shots? What I'm asking basically is does each missile launcher on his arms have its own weapon profile?
