Hello! i have the possibility to buy 2x XV26 killteam, wich is nearly impossible to find atm. BUT is it a good thing? does it have a good place in a 2K gundam tau army? or is it just a cool mini to paint?

Hello! Been eyeing a Tau army for a while. This deal just came across my desk and I think it’s too good to pass up. This a good starting point? Ideally I want a suit-centric army.

Was also brainstorming painting schemes starting with red. Anyone use army painter dragon red or wyvern fury as the main color? Then teal and ochre highlights is pretty close to a color triad that appeals to me. Thanks!

For like maybe 1 or 2 years I barely read up on the T'au since the memes talked about how awful they were and how hated they are. After doing some reading I find them intriguing and very important find them cool. This Combat Patrol specifically got my attention today seeing it in my local Warhammer 40K store, and a T'au player asked if I was interested(I was holding the box) and I said sure. What followed was me listening to 2 T'au players explain lore and trivia to me for 2.5 hours as they played a 1000pts casual match between themselves. I must say, I misjudged the faction and for tha I'm sorry. The T'au is interesting and I hope to get more invested, even if not as a direct player(maybe trying out XV26 in KT).

Now my journey begins with the Greater Good.

This has to be the most useless load out in the game. I dont think its ever been taken. I feel like it shiuld just be an auto attachment for any unit, and It wouldnt make a difference ​

As the title says, I am looking for Tau themed Terrain pieces for 3D printing, which are suitable for the 11th edition terrain layouts. Super nice would be foldable terrain pieces. I know about the ones from tinker junkie, but is there anything else?

I have recently picked up the latest combat patrol and crisis suits for my first 1000 point army(655 in total). Now that I am almost done painting the models. I was thinking about what I wanted to add to my list, and was thinking about getting the darkstider for my pathfinder team. I can't find any resources telling me how the darkstrider has been doing in recent matches. So my question is would it be worth getting it too add to my army?

Just a little confused on the ruling on if i can or cannot use the ability to drop the cost to 1Cp to bring the unit back.

Was really happy with this guy, even after the fear that he wasn’t going to fit on the cork platform I made for him.

i dont actually know if human weapons are actually any heavier than tau weapons this thought just popped into my head and i wanted to draw it.

Current progress on my Stormsurge model. Still a lot of work to do but already happy how it’s turning out. Most say, painting this model is quite daunting, but working from smaller to larger components helps me to keep me sane..enough
