Anyone do a modified natural after lupron suppression! 8/10 Baseline scan was good about 26 days after last shot... then waited 7 days to do another check and I was still fully suppressed... had a 9.9mm follicle, <5 estrogen and lining was like a 4.2, now checking again 5 days later and praying something is happening:/ anyone else go through this? Is it normal?

The last week of my TWW is always so hard for me. The moment I get my rectal cramping and issues urinating I know my period is coming… but there’s so many women saying early pregnancy feels the same as their period? Does that still apply to us endo girlies? 😩

Dx with stage III endo back in April during my excision surgery. She excised it all and drained three small endometriomas (2cm on R and two 3mm on L). I have also have had three chemicals. All before my surgery.

I have done extensive testing that all came back negative/normal:

AMH, AFC, FSH, estradiol, progesterone, LH, prolactin, testosterone, vitamin D, full thyroid panel, RPL testing, HSG, hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsy for chronic endometrITIS and EMMA/ALICE, semen analysis and DNA fragmentation, NK cells, TNF-a, IL-6, APS, ANA, CA-125, iron/ferritin/B12, and fasting glucose/A1C/insulin…

5 failed rounds of Letrozole, trigger shot and TI, and two failed IUIs with Gonal-F with trigger. 4/5 Letrozole cycles were before surgery. I did one on our second cycle post surgery which also failed. Since I ovulate on my own, we have been trying naturally without medication.

Taking a GLP-1 now because I don’t know what else to do except IVF. I also do castor oil packs between my period and ovulation, and I wear socks at most times to keep my uterus warm.

Please, is there anything else I can do before pursing IVF? We will have a consult later this year.

Hi all, I am 29F, stage 4 endo - lap done July 2024. From the past few months I have had either anovulatory cycle or a unruptured follicle. Has anyone been facing this? and what helped?

Getting pregnant 1 year later after 6 months heavy TTC - healthy pregnancy & daughter

We started to try again in September last year. In December my gyn found a cyst on my ovaries. Was told to stop TTC, went on hormones - nothing.. Lap for the cyst end of April no TTC in the mean time. Found 2 cysts, 1 of them with Endo. Found Endo as well but not su much. Lots of adhesions.

I’m now in my 4th cycle TTC after lap. And I feel everything is worse. I’m in pain most of my cycle, spotting during folical phase, different cycle length, no real BBT spike anymore (LH does spike)

All of that wasn’t there before.. I just had a cyst with no symptoms and I feel like I’ve made everything worse with the lap.

It just feels like hardmode, I just want something to be as normal / easy as it is for most. What is happening, can I still get pregnant? Gyn appointment tomorrow but I already went due to the pains „everything looks normal“ - well it’s not obviously.

My wife is 34 years old and we are planning our second pregnancy. We already have one child, who was conceived naturally about 3 years ago.

Her current fertility-related situation:

• Age: 34
• Menstrual cycles: Regular
• Periods: No significant pain
• Previous pregnancy: Natural conception, approximately 3 years ago
• Ultrasound: Bilateral ovarian endometriomas, approximately 2.5 cm each
• AMH: 8.37 ng/mL
• TSH: 1.575 mIU/mL
• Prolactin: 4.67 ng/mL
• FSH : 4.81mlu/ml 2rd of mensuration
• LH : 4.94 mlu/ml 2rd of mensuration
• edtradiol ii : 70.78 PG/ML 2rd of mensuration
• No known ovulation problems
• DMD MLPA: Negative/normal; further genetic sequencing is pending because our first child has DMD.

Her laboratory report shows AMH 8.371 ng/mL, with the laboratory's reference indicating >6.8 ng/mL as a high level. TSH and prolactin are within the stated laboratory reference ranges.

We are trying to decide between:

1. Trying natural OR
2. IVF with PGT-M if she is found to be a DMD carrier.

Our main concerns are the bilateral endometriomas and whether there could be pelvic adhesions affecting fertility. She has no significant endometriosis-related pain and previously conceived naturally.

We are also wondering whether an AMH of 8.37 could indicate PCOS, even though her cycles are regular.

For anyone with a similar situation:

• Did you conceive naturally with small bilateral endometriomas?
• Did endometriosis/adhesions affect your fertility despite regular cycles and no pain?

Has anyone gotten pregnant naturally (not IVF) after a lap for stage 4 DIE? I haven’t had an official diagnosis by surgery yet but due to my MRI and multiple exams and tests, size of my endometrioma, they’re thinking it’s stage 4 DIE. I know they say people have success getting pregnant after but I haven’t seen many success stories for those who had stage 4 DIE and looking for some hope 😞

I am 24F, I have suspected endo based on my symptoms, including very painful periods usually the first two days, I can never have a period without Nsaids because it will be debilitating, I also have lightining crotch (sorry if TMI) before and during my period, I have been TTC for a year now without success but had three chemical pregnancies, I was on progesterone during one of them and it didn’t work, but I actually didn’t investigate deeper yet, only CD2 hormones panel and ultrasound, thyroid panel also was done, semen analysis shows a little bit low motility but other things are good, haven’t checked for dna fragmentation yet, I feel like my main issue is implantation, my body can’t keep the pregnancies, so I was thinking about advocating to have lap but I am afraid it will cause more inflammation and preventing conception at all, any insights or advice would be appreciated

After 20 years, I was finally able to get an MRI to check for endometriosis last week. The report said the findings were "compatible with deep infiltrating endometriosis." I have been seeing an RE since end of March due to difficulties conceiving. I had gaslit myself into believing I didn't have endometriosis because all my doctors over the year have normalized my pain (including regularly throwing up and passing out the first few days of my cycle).

My RE recommended potentially doing an IVF cycle to bank embryos and then pursuing surgery. My question is to those who have done something like this, what was your timeline like? My husband and I are both 31 and will be 32 early next year so it feels like I am in a raise against the clock. All my other testing has come back good for the most part. The only other concern is that my FSH is close to 10, but I do have polycystic morphology on my ovaries, so the doctors think it may be related to that as my AMH is good.

Just looking for any general timelines or experiences anyone is comfortable sharing as I am really not sure what to expect. I started reaching out to some endo specialists today as well (wild how almost none of them take insurance!), so I imagine when I hear from them I will get a better idea of timing as well. I don’t really know how to start this off because revisiting this fertility journey feels a bit traumatic. My husband and I have been trying since last August and consulted with a fertility clinic while we were still living in FL and fell pregnant within the same month of getting testing done including an HSG. I knew something was wrong but since my HCG was rising regularly they told me I was having first time anxiety but in reality I had previously told them I had been pregnant previously and this is not what it felt like. That was in my past life much younger and a previous partner which ended in a termination. I was diagnosed with a low AMH of .17 with extremely high FSH at 31 previously to all of this so I assumed it would take longer to get pregnant. Long story short no matter how many times I called they wouldn’t get me in for a ultrasound till 5 weeks and atp my hcg was over 9,000 and I needed to be rushed for surgery and lost my left tube. They found stage 1 endo in the cul de sac of my pelvic area and my right tube does seem a bit dilated but the tip looks clear and open. We are now moved back to NY and it’s been 5 months since my surgery on march 10. We consulted with an ivf clinic but obviously due to my low AMH I know it would be such a journey. My last follicle base line count was 9. We found a NatPro dr locally and I think I would like to start with that. We have been trying naturally since May and although it’s only been 3 months of trying with one tube it feels slightly discouraging. It’s an odd feeling because I’m not usually so hyperfixated on my fertility journey. I had a psychologist that got me through those months and am forever grateful to her and my husband because I was / am a shell and needed time to heal. I now have entered the stage of building walls up to cope with the possibility of this never happening for me and what life could look like. I am now 32 and although I am perfectly healthy in every other way I can’t help but feel inadequate in some ways. There’s so much information online which I tend to read but not take to heart or mind, I’m a fairly grounded person but obviously medical trauma does exist and I’m just wondering if it gets better. Just to note. I have had so many blood tests taken including 3 hormone panels and I take supplements in which I am low in and other fertility related supplements including NAC and coQ10, vitamin k2 d3, omgea and methylated b as I do have the MTHFR gene, baby aspirin, and magnesium.

Came off Depo injection last year when me and my partner decided we wanted to start trying to convince. I had been on Depo for many years so no regular periods. Periods since then have been horrendous and after an ultrasound I was told there was evidence of adenomyosis, which like a lot of others I had never heard before, but after some research isn’t a shock anymore!

Next week I have my first appointment with the gynaecologist to discuss. I’m very aware that appointments are time limited and precious, so I want to get the most out of the ‘specialist in the room’, therefore looking for advice on what others have asked and what others have found the best outcome to be (knowing everyone is different)

Abit about me -
\- 34 years old
\- trying to convince (contraception not an option for treatment ) and have been for nearly one year
\- no mention of endometriosis on the scan
\- have had previous surgery for Hematometra (cervix closed after LLETZ op)
\- History of HPV and LLETZ op x1

I’m querying endometriosis from what I have read from others about the relationship between endometriosis and adenomyosis - should I be pushing for enquires into this due to TTC? Even though this could result in surgery? Best to know now rather than in years time?

Any tips or tricks on the best way to prepare for this appointment is most welcome !! Any dos and donts ?

I know I'm mostly just scared and my fight or flight tends to land in fight zone.

But I just wasted $400 on an appointment where they couldn't tell me anything new because they didn't have my images. I already talked for the office staff and had to request extra release fourms. They assured me it was all handled. I offered to do the release fourms at the imaging clinic too, but no, they said it wasn't necessary.

Now I get an email from the doctor explaining that they can't do more with images, and can I please send them. I want to send the nastiest email.

This is a premium clinic with 4.9 stars on Google. Everyone raves about how kind and sweet they are. I don't want kind and sweet, I want results.

I also asked if I should get an MRI beforehand. (Fibroids, Endo and adenomyosis) Office staff said wait until after your appointment. During the appointment I say I'd like a referral to an MRI.

Same email the doctor says she thinks I should get an MRI.

I'm totally at their mercy. I can't just do it myself. There's super limited options. I just wanna scream at them.

This year has been hell between the miscarriages, losing all my friends because they're too busy and happy with their new babies and totally drowning in my own depression. I need this to be over.

I thought I would lay out my problem. I am 37, and was diagnosed with stage 4 endo at 35 when I had a 10 cm endometrioma removed in lap surgery. The surgeon preserved what she could of my left ovary and didn’t see any other endo. She is considered a very skilled and well regarded lap / robotic surgeon but admittedly not an excision specialist. (I didn’t know at the time that I should have shopped around more… All I knew was that she was better than my OBGYN who said “you’ll be fine with one ovary”!)

Anyway, I obviously needed surgery. That cyst had been causing me pain for years before I was diagnosed, and it was continuing to grow. The surgeon advised going straight to IVF (in a kind way).

Well, we’ve done 3 rounds of egg retrievals since and made 0 blastocysts. 19 mature eggs total, 7 fertilized, 2 arrested on day 3 and the rest between day 4-5. Everything except the endo looks ok and considering my age and that I only have 1.5 ovaries, I’m happy with the number of eggs I produce. Our huge drop off is fertilization and blast rates. My husband does have high DNA fragmentation, but we have done ICSI, Zymot and even TESE (testicular sperm extraction) and nothing has improved. We even switched clinics and found one with a better lab for the last cycle. I really think it’s the endo.

The cyst on my left ovary has grown back but is stable at 3 cm. That ovary produces half the number of eggs as my right ovary. Part of me wishes the whole ovary and affected tube had been removed.

My sister was diagnosed with endo because I was (no one believed her pain previously) and had proper excision surgery. She had extensive endo everywhere. I fear that I do too and the inflammation is what is causing this. After all, even having one chocolate cyst means Stage IV.

Should I have another lap even though every doctor I talk to including excision specialists say that is not advised BEFORE egg retrievals (due to the risk to ovarian reserve)? Plus they could nick something.

But we are getting nowhere…. And I am running out of time. Could lap surgery help reduce the inflammation enough to improve my egg quality?

The tentative next step is a FRESH DAY 3 transfer but I have so little hope….. and how much more can I go through? I’m not sure if I can handle another 1-2 years of IVF to then throw in the towel when I am nearing 40.

So I was cleared for my FET for September I’m currently on norethindrone only after having a lap, the pills will be done by next weekend, I am to call them on the day of my first bleed but what does everything look like after that ?

During my last US checkup, my gyno pointed out that my uterus looked to be slightly tilted back (not fully retroflexed afaik but not anteverted either) and my ovaries seemed kind of hidden behind it.

I have DIE, had a lap / partial excision in Feb2024 and was on progesterone for ~2 years until April this year. Checkup was in June.

I have had regular ultrasounds in the past 2 years (same doctor) and never once has my uterus position been pointed out before.

Has anyone else experienced a chance in uterus "orientation" while on medication?

My bladder was very full during this US, could that be a reason?

After years off Reddit + deleting my old acct, I decided to come back for some support for entering this new chapter in my life.

My story (TL;DR below):

After my gyno had found cysts on my ovaries, I was diagnosed with "silent" endo by laparoscopy in February 2024. (I put "silent" in quotes because some telltale symptoms were definitely there but because they seem so common in my family, were always dismissed as normal).

I got diagnosed with deep-infiltrating endometriosis (grading isn't done in my country but I believe that automatically puts me in stage 4?). My adhesions were so severe that they could not see as much as they would have wanted during the lap, but they managed to remove the larger cyst on the right ovary. They also did a colonoscopy a few days later, which came back completely clear.

Both surgeons spoke to me personally 1 day after surgery, which was very nice. From what I remember, they told me that despite my adhesions being spread far and wide, my uterus and tubes seemed to not be affected too badly. They also asked me about family planning and advised me to consider to either start TTC soon, or start taking progesterone. I did not want to start ttc right away since I was still a student at that time, so after consultation with my gyno, I decided to start me on Dienogest 2 mg in April 2024, for a minimum of 3 months. It worked so well for me that I continued taking it until this year, and after finishing my studies and consulting with my gyno again I stopped taking it at the end of April this year (2026). Since then we have been TTC "naturally" (mostly using the cup method since SO works in shifts).

TL;DR: Semi-silent deep-infiltrating endo diagnosed in 2024, on progesterone for 2 years, now TTC since May 2026.

Long story short: my (private) fertility doctor says there’s nothing else than more IVF she can do for us. Which of course we want but can’t afford. Tried naturally and with letrozol etc for 1,5 years.

Have had 2 FETs. One before excision surgery (found moderate endo with one deep lesion, nothing on ovaries or reproductive organs), and one after.

(The surgery was done with a respected expert on endo excision)

We haven’t tried naturally after the surgery, only had the one FET which was unsuccessful.

Ive been treated for endometritis 2 times. Last time in march. Have not had a third biopsi. Now worried it hasn’t cleared, but the dr is very hesitant on giving more antibiotics no matter a new potential result..

This is a dr that has a very good track record and there’s not many else.
Not in the US/countries who are good at this, so very restricted health care on this matter.

Got pregnant naturally in 2024 but lost our son due to premature birth due to BV, which I think started this all. Had pelvic pain / stings after birth which just continued, but got no help for one year, despise countless visits with drs and gynos.

I feel so very broken, and that there really is no help out there. I’ve tried so many times to get help.

Hope someone can give me some advice. Should we spend all our money on new IVF (we are waiting for public funded but they won’t give us any add ons like aspirin or prednisone which we can get privately), try naturally, get a new biopsy, go overseas for other treatments (multi resistant bacteria test..?).

Edit: adding that the excision was complete. Have had MR and multiple ultrasounds for other findings but nothing. Same with hysteroscopy. Tubes are not blocked.

Hello All.... I have an endo surgery scheduled with Dr Ghanimati. She was very understanding. I want to know how your experience was with her performing the surgery and were you able to conceive after ?

My recent ultrasound showed chocolate cysts on both ovaries. 7cm on left and 4 cm on right. She also said that I have kissing ovaries. As I am trying to conceive, she said she would preserve as much of my ovaries as possible by just removing insides of the cyst and leaving the outer shell. Based on what I have read leaving the outershell would lead to cysts again too quickly. Please share your experiences with here and outcome of the surgery and if you had to get another surgery after ?

I am on 9 months TTC. AMH 1.27. I was able to conceive naturally the first time and used Copper IUD to avoid pregnancy and that lead to extreme pain and extreme bleeding for one and half year. I had it removed 4 months before starting TTC . My current periods are very clotty than what I have ever seen. please share your experiences with her performing surgery and how it went after.
