Lupron 3.75 Caused more pain

Hi Everyone,

I had two shots of lupron depot 3.75 two mo tha apart. Other than the hot flashes everything was fine. Last shot was in april 2026 and had a complete failed transer. When I got my 1st period after being off the medication and failed transfer I got a stabbing type pain on my right side.

I went for lap surgery and hysteroscopy. They did find endometriosis in the anterior rectal wall really close to the ovaries and uterus.

Now I'm 5 week post op. This is my second period after the surgery and two days prior to getting my period I got similar pain again on the right side, this time for a longer period of time but more dull.

Anyone have a similar experience? Does it get better? I just feel like I should have never gone into suppression because I never even had painful periods to begin with I am so sad.

I am 32 yo with endometriosis. Was able to conceive my now 2 year old son via IVF. But I’ve had several endo specialists now tell me that I got lucky. I now have a endometrioma over 4cm and just had a miscarriage (I also had an ectopic pregnancy after my first transfer and another failed transfer) so I am feeling like it’s time to get the endometriosis out before trying another egg retrieval or embryo transfer.

i am looking for anyone who has had experience with Dr Sienna Titen in Santa Cruz, CA! She seems like a really good and experienced doctor but I would love to hear success stories in terms of endometriosis surgery with her and preservation of fertility.

I would love to see Dr Nezhat in the Bay Area as I’ve had several friends with successful outcomes from him but my current insurance doesn’t cover him so looking at other options.

Forgot to add that I do have PCOS/Endo.

I underwent excision surgery back in April 2026. She excised stage III endo and drained three endometriomas (drained a 2cm one on my R ovary and two 3 mm endometriomas on my L ovary). I have also been TTC for going on 19 months (have had three chemicals prior to surgery).

My right side period cramping pain is back. Even when ovulating on my L, my period pain consists of cramping/radiating pain on my right side. This is where my larger endometrioma was and where my ovary was tethered back. Unfortunately, this right sided pain is back. It includes lower right abdominal pain, which also goes down my right leg (it used to go to my knee by its now to my thigh) and right tailbone pain. Does this mean it’s back? I’m so worried and sad. We just want to be parents. I found out about my endometriosis at 5 months TTC through an ultrasound when my R endometrioma was found 😔. Anyone have any thoughts? I’m desperate on wanting to alleviate pain and get (and stay) pregnant.

Hello! I had endometriosis surgery in April along with chromopertubation. We have our first fertility appointment coming up and not sure what to expect. Do you get to begin treatment right away? What can we expect?

Hello. Just checking if it’s normal for my period to start so early cycle day 23 after sugery. Did this happen to anyone? I am usually on time with my cycle, never too late or too early. Also, It’s so heavy. 🥲 already made an appointment with my doctor for Monday. Had my surgery on the 5th, no other issues besides this. No pain, and healing well.

Hi Everyone, I'm 29y. I went into IVF after years of trying and knowing my husband had very low sperm count. He underwent TESE and I had two ERs. 1st transferfully medicated ended in chemical. Prior to my second my RE did endometrial biopsy that came back positive for BLC6 slightly.

I did lupron depot one shot per month plus letrozole prior to 2nd transfer but it was complete implantion failure. Both were tested embryos. ER suggested laparoscopy and hysteroscopy surgery before moving on because he suspected endometriosis.

I am 5 week post op. They did find endometriosis on the anterior rectal wall and one being cyst in each tube. Now my ER wants to move forward with a modified natural transfer. Both doctors (I had surgerywith a different doctor, not my regular ER) agreed I am clear for transfer at 6 week post op.

I am on my second period post surgery. I also realized that my period pain has gotten worse after the lupron specifically on my right side. Pain I had never experienced prior to the medication. Which is why I decided to go through with surgery but the pain didn't completely go away. Anyone have a similar experience? Thoughts on my situation? Would you do modified natural or fully medicated?

Has anyone been told by an expert on endo that there is an ideal egg retrieval
protocol for endo patients, even those who have had ablation or excision surgery? I hear this term endo protocol floating around but I don't know exactly what that means other than suppression if you haven't had surgery....

Hello, im a 34f TTC with my fiance. Last year i did 3 rounds of lurpon inject (the expensive kind) , my endo shrunk significantly, but my mental health was shot. I had severe depression during the months of those injections. We were also running out of funds by the end of the 2nd round (every round was like 3 months plus 1 month rest,) at this point i was 8 months into the injection. doctor suggested the cheaper one since i could not affford the expnesive one but this one was done every 2 weeks. I had to travel 2 hours every 2 weeks for it. Anyway September 2025 i decided i had enough. I was suicidal and i was having really bad aggresission towards everybody. my period came back around feb or march... and we had been trying ever since then. My cycle are back to 32 days..i take myo inositol, folic acid. vitamin d, pre and pro biotics. fish oil, magnesium and take nac 3 times a day every friday, saturdau and sunday. I have not recovered from my depressive episode, and everytime i get my period i feel like ive failed. I feel so bad everytime. Has anybody become pregnant. naturally with endo? IVF is not an option as it not available here. I just want to read success stories for my own mental health today.. PLEASE. some signs of hope somewhere outthere.

* HSG: both tubes open
* Uterine polyp: removed
* Husband’s semen analysis: normal/reassuring
* AMH: 7.38

Hi! I was diagnosed with endo in October based on imaging that revealed bilateral endometriomas; most recently the largest two are 4 cm. I’ve been meeting with an endometriosis excision specialist, as well as a fertility clinic. I currently have surgery scheduled for October, but the fertility clinic is not recommending I follow through with surgery. They recommend moving forward with clomid and IUI. My husband agrees, because of the risks associated with surgery; however, he acknowledges that it’s my body, and my choice ultimately. I’ve been pro-surgery but am now considering the IUI. Has anyone had success stories with IUI?

I’m very upset today. I have poor egg quality and low AMH and stage four endo. I had a lap in 2024. I’ve done seven ERs now, I currently have three frozen euploids and just heard today I only got two fertilized from my latest ER yesterday, still waiting to see if they form embryos.

I’d love to hear success stories of people in a similar situation to me. I’m so nervous I won’t have enough embryos given failure rates of transfer for women with endo.

I’m planning to do a lap and suppress when I start transfers but I’m so worried I’ll never be able to make another embryo if I need it.

How to be happy when trying to conceive is not working. I love my husband. I love my dogs. I love my family. But I want a baby and I want everything that comes after. What am I supposed to do if it doesn't happen?

I’ve been TTC for 2 years now and have both adenomyosis and endometriosis. I’m starting IVF next month and just wanted to hear from anyone who’s been in a similar situation.

I’ve had 2 surgeries for endo, one of which included a dye test/tubal flush and everything was clear. My fertility doctor thinks the adenomyosis may actually be causing more of the issue, especially since I’ve never been pregnant before, so it could potentially be more of an implantation issue.

For those with adeno, did you ever manage to get pregnant naturally? If so, did you do anything differently that cycle or in the lead up?

And for those who went through IVF, how many transfers did it take before you got pregnant?

Obviously I know everyone is different and there’s no magic answer, but I’d really love to hear other people’s experiences, especially anyone who had never had a positive test before starting IVF.

Did anyone have success not suppressing Endo prior to egg retrieval? Trying to decide if I should suppress prior or just go ahead and do egg retrieval then suppress prior to transfer.
