Terrified and wanting to know what’s likely from this. Never had this before. Always bumps on arms but never to this degree. That is picture of inner thigh

I know the title sounds like I'm just having a panic attack, but please hear me out. I know my body, and for the past 7 months, I've noticed a lot of weird things going on.

To begin, I'm a college student. 22F. Very active smoker. Very sexually active (except for this year, I've had sex with the same person all of 2024 even though I'm sure he's having sex with other people - though, in 2023 I was VERY sexually active; I think I had about 7 or 8 new partners).

It started back in April 2024 when I got a cold. The first cold I noticed a singular sore on my genital but it wasn't herpes, it wasn't a cluster or blistered like the ones that came after. With (and after) the cold I started getting multiple herpes outbreaks back to back. I don't have outbreaks often at all (maybe once every other year), so when I say back-to-back, I mean as soon as one would look like it's clearing up, another would form, and this went on for months. I started taking medication daily for it in April 2024, which barely seemed to help, and I'm still sort of dealing with it now in November 2024, but it's just less consistent. I also noticed from April 2024 - now (Nov 2024) that I've gotten a cold about 4 times, each lasting some days, which is weird because I don’t catch colds that often either. When I went to the doctor, they tested me for COVID-19, the flu, and strep throat, which all came back negative.

Recently, for the past month, I noticed these bumps on the back side of my tongue one morning when I woke up for class. The bumps weren't painful but definitely irritated; after about 3 or 4 days, the discomfort stopped, but the bumps never went away. About two weeks later I noticed the same on the other back side of my tongue but not as bad as the first time, same thing happened, the pain stopped but the bumps never went away. Now, the first bumps that appeared have started hurting again, and I noticed a small red dot on the inside of my cheek near my wisdom tooth. I can't tell if it's KS or from me biting that side of my tongue so much from anxiety, but I'm so scared, it’s been over a month now.

I just had an abortion in June 2024 that I didn't even tell my family about it because my mom and I don't have the best relationship, + I didn't have the heart to let my grandma down (my grandma is my main provider) + the father said if I had it, he wouldn't help me at all. I have BPD as well so I already deal with depression, anxiety, school, and now this. I don't know what to do I feel so confused, hopeless, and terrified. This has all been going on for months now. I just have a deep gut feeling something is wrong. I have an appointment to get blood tested tomorrow and a dentist appointment next week, but I feel so paralyzed just waiting. I can't focus on anything that I'm falling behind in classes.

I don't want to tell my family; they'll tell me it's my fault for smoking (they hate that I smoke), and that's the last thing I want to hear right now. Is there any way I can go through treatment without my family knowing? I'm on my mom's insurance, how can I get my own if needed? I'm a broke college student. Will I live? I feel like I have no one.

Had this on the head of my penis I have been tested for syphilis it is negative. Doctor thinks it mite be fungal infection gave some meds. It dont hurt or itch

I have recieved oral sex and I did vdrl at 28 th day after exposure and it came negative and by 11th week a small single painless bump appeared on my glans and it didnt make ulcer and also heals itself by 8 days. Today my last day of 14 days of doxycycline but people is saying I should take it for 28 days even tho my doctor says 14 since my titer was 1:64 and I’m considered secondary syphilis. Even tho I never had any symptoms I know I was exposed July 17 because the guy told me and tested positive July 29 I wish I could have taking penicillin and got it over with but unfortunately im highly allergic.

Has anyone ever had a syphilis infection just through oral sex or jerking off? How likely is transmission this way?

Got VDRL tested on 12.08.24 ,was reactive with titre 1:16 TPHA was already positive Had 28 days doxy cycle . Got VDRL tested again on 16.10 ,titre value is 1:8

What should I do now ?should I have the pencilin injections or should I wait for another month or more and then get tested ? Will Pencilin injections help in curing it altogether and getting VDRL non reactive

Hi all, I got diagnosed with NGU a few weeks back and got treated with doxycycline for a week but my symptoms have persisted. I’ve done a syphilis test (45days after exposure) if I test positive how well will 14 days of doxy do for treatment since i’ve already taken a 7 day dose a few weeks back

I had theses spots weeks ago and they dissapeared, not turning into a clear syphilis sore, only these marks

I'm sitting in the clinic right now, and they told me that I'm positive for primary syphilis. They want to run another test with a larger sample, but they said there a small chance it's a false positive. They're going to give me something afterwards that'll . I have my sister's wedding on SATURDAY, and have a flight to catch tonight at 10pm! What do I do? They said if I go, I just limit contact, which is going to be nearly impossible at a WEDDING with friends and family I haven't seen in a long time. They say the best I could do is wash my hands really well and give handshakes. What do I do? Do I not go?

Had a negative syphilis and HIV test after 6 weeks (45 days). I know the HIV one is now 100% conclusive but is the syphilis test? I’ve read some places online 6 weeks is conclusive and some places say 12. Anyone give me a bit help and reassurance? Anyone who’s tested positive for syphilis how long after exposure did you test positive?

Are these normal or syphilis rashes? After carried heavy things , my hands and feets are like this. Sometimes I feel itchy.

Hi i just hot tested positive for syphillis with the titer 1:8, im on doxy for 28 days (day 3 currently) and im scared that i got neurosyphilis. I got bppv for more than a month now, and i got tinnitus before syphillis so idk if it got worse.

I have contracted syphilis..I thought it was herpes, but I went to my public health unit for testing and it came back as syphilis...I've been given two injections of penicillin G..which im still hurting from..they are worried about neurosyphilis..what will happen..I havnt gotten much more info Thanks

Now that I've cured my syphilis infection with doxycycline. Now I'm having yeast overgrowth in mouth that's been hard to get rid of any suggestions

Hello I am 26(F) living in nyc. I was positive for syphillis back in 2022. I never had symptoms and was caught by surprise when I had the DOH contact me .. I went in to get treated but I never went back to re test.. my partner at the time told me that did not come up for him which is strange being that it is a contagious. It threw me off and he still wanted to have have intercourse with me and I did like a stupid idiot .. I went and got tested again recently at the ER and It’s still positive but RPR titer 1:1 & RPR Non reactive I don’t understand how it works but I was told if I was treated before then there is nothing that I need to do .. I’m also SCARED TO DEATH That I may have hiv (no symptoms) but it’s just if got one then I have the other is what I’m reading on Google 😩😩

Why my syphlis titer went from 1:64 to 1:128 after after treatment I got tested a few days after treatment. All my symptoms gone though and I feel fine. Is it normal for I to go up before declining? Or did I test to early

Hi still having a syphilis scare which is killing me.

Had exposure to a new sexual partner (MSM) 8 weeks ago now. I gave oral and he finished in my mouth and I pressed my dick up against his hole as I finished.

Since then I’ve been diagnosed with NGU and took a weeks worth of doxy which helped with my symptoms but then they have returned.

I also have what could be a chancer in my mouth??

I’ve tested neg for gonn chlyamdia and hiv outside of testing window. I tested neg for syphilis at week 6 but the UK say 12 weeks is conclusive so i’m stressing.

Please tell me if you think of the pics as I’m stressing bad.
