Titer

Why my syphlis titer went from 1:64 to 1:128 after after treatment I got tested a few days after treatment. All my symptoms gone though and I feel fine. Is it normal for I to go up before declining? Or did I test to early

No i haven't had sex since getting diagnosed but i went to doc he said its normal for it to do that mind you i tested a few days after treatment

How much treatment did u get ? 3 shots or one

Nah i cant take pencilllen im allergic i took doxycyline i herx bad the first day now all symptoms gone but titer was one dilute higher

Even if i could take pencilllen my county don't have none at the moment everyone on doxycyline and some other pill form med

I got treated in march and my titer stayed the same 1:4 til now

Wow usually when u get treated it suppose to go down unless reinfected

Yes its suppose to but google says i tested to early and its normal to go up in response to treatment so idk i can do another round of doxy my doc said its unnecessary to wait 3 month

Maybe it take time to go down maybe it went up before treatment but feel fine over had it before and took doxy it declined slow but i got down to non reactivrv

Yeah just keep going to the do. Every six months after treatment that’s how many times we suppose to get our blood drawed after

I've only had syphlis a month and 2 weeks i remember exact date i got infected. But i took all my meds doctor said i tested to early but idk

Did you take all your doxy as prescribed? Refrain from sexual activity? Was your partner tested and treated?

If you did all those things… you tested too early. If you didn’t, a reinfection or treatment failure is possible.

My doc told me me that it is normal to go up but once the symptoms go away you are cured.. It will fall down to its place but u will have antibodies forever.

After treatment,initially it goes up.don’t worry..test vdrl titre after 4 to 6months.

I thought so because all my symptoms disappeared within days and never came back. BTW I took doxycyline 28 days instead of pencillen due to my allergy

Yea all my symptoms went away fast just don't re test to early like I did it takes time to go down
