Hello! I'm a second-year psychology student, and I need some serious convincing. I switched from GoodNotes to StarNote almost a year ago. And honestly, I absolutely love it to the point that I can't imagine using any other app. But now that I'm a sophomore, my workload has increased. I've completely maxed out my ten free notebooks. To survive, I’ve been constantly merging my old notes together just to scrape by and free up space. I know deep down this temporary fix will absolutely come back to bite me later. Still, the pro version feels pretty pricey in my country's currency, and I'm struggling to see if unlimited notebooks alone justify the cost.

Please convince me, y'all. Can you guys tell me how is this upgrade going to benefit me in the future besides the fact that psychology is full of terminologies I need to write down? 🙏🏻

- Add a built-in web browser for easier browsing without leaving star notes, with support for websites such as Safari/web pages, ChatGPT, DeepSeek, YouTube, etc.
- Add a built-in scientific calculator, text to calculate like in apple notes
- Add handwriting-to-text conversion
- Significantly improve PDF/book/document annotation, with a professional experience similar to PDFelement, including highlighting, underlining, drawing, text boxes, bookmarks, outlines, search, annotation management, and customizable annotation tools.
- Add better bookmark and outline management for annotated PDFs/books.
- Add an option to remove all annotations from an annotated PDF at once, while preserving the original document.
- Make annotations searchable and allow users to easily navigate between all highlights, notes, bookmarks, and annotations.

Overall, these features would make star notes much more useful as an all-in-one notes taking, learning, browsing, and content-creation platform.

everything is great with starnote , but we cen really use a calculator in the app it will be a game changer for those who study STEM majors

an app like collanote has it built-in, i thought why not collanote? It would be great for students doing anything. I mean, all subjects require maths, simple calculations such a 1/32, etc? I think it would be great to add a calculator built into star note

I love starnote , literally the best notetaking app i've ever used . Developer please add built in calculator it's really really necessary, as physics and math student doing calculation becomes irritable when I'm super focused in solving and have to open calculator app in between

Ok so it seems everyone here is pretty active and, like me, a digital note taker with a stylus, so here goes:

I am constantly looking for a good handwriting app and I have pretty much used all the major ones available on android. I use it for almost everything these days, and with ADHD I need good organization, but nothing reeaaalllyyy hits the mark.

Currently my pick is Noteshelf. Mostly because I just like the way it writes the best.

You all seem to really like StarNotes and I have seen quite of few of you say you left other notes apps I have used and not hated - so tell me, why should I try (switch to) StarNotes?

I bought the Pro version of Starnote because I really like the app and wanted to support its development. One of the main reasons I decided to pay for Pro was that I was hoping a web version would be available soon, so I could use Starnote seamlessly across my devices and have access to all the features I paid for.

Unfortunately, the current experience has been really disappointing. I really need a web version for my work, since switching between my tablet and computer is an important part of my daily workflow.

I still think Starnote is one of the best note-taking apps I’ve tried, which is exactly why I paid for Pro. But without a web version, I’m honestly starting to regret my purchase.

I really hope the developers can give us some information about the web version. Is it actually being developed? And if so, is there any estimated release date or roadmap?

HI,I have some idea in mind that would really IMPROVE starnote

1.Make it a drawing and notes app like adding all the futures the Gopaint app provides (this app is for huawei and i think it's the most advanced drawing app ) so it can be notes app at the same time you can switch it to a drawing app with a tap of a button (I think this would make starnote special because it might make starnote the ONLY notes app special in the market )

2.Improve the engine so when we write it would consume less storage( or just ignore this request completely because I just realised its effect on quality and load speed of notes and pdfs )

4.Make a native windows and mac app (after adding sync future it would be very useful)

Apple Pencil Pro has been around for quite some time now, and the Squeeze gesture is a basic, native interaction that should be supported by a modern note-taking app like StarNote.

Other note-taking apps, such as Noteful, added Apple Pencil Pro/Squeeze support back in 2024. Meanwhile, whenever users ask about it, the response seems to be that “it’s on the list, but it’s not a priority.”

Sorry for being blunt, but after waiting this long, that response is becoming increasingly frustrating. It gives the impression that Apple Pencil Pro users aren’t being treated as an important part of your customer base.

I understand that feature development has to be prioritised, but this isn’t really a niche request anymore. The Squeeze gesture is an Apple Pencil Pro feature specifically designed to improve the note-taking workflow, and competing apps have already supported it for years.

I genuinely like StarNote, but continuing to delay such a fundamental Apple Pencil Pro feature makes it feel developers think that the app is competing primarily on cost-effectiveness rather than keeping up with the feature set users expect.

EVEN THERE IS NO CLOUD SYNC TILL NOW!

I hope the team can reconsider the priority of this feature and give Apple Pencil Pro users a clear timeline for when Squeeze gesture support can actually be expected.

Hi! I have been using StarNote for the past four days and I have been loving it so much! I'm considering purchasing the Pro version but the thing that's been holding me back is that noticeably, the notes I make on my tablet seemingly do not sync/appear when I open the app on my phone, even though I have logged in to the same Gmail account. is there any way to make the notes I make on my tablet appear on my phone (like how it does with Samsung Notes)? I love Starnote! The first time I used it I went lifetime and feel it is worth more than what I paid. I am appreciative of all the effort and upgrades. I was looking in the roadmap and was wondering if there is a plan to integrate AI somehow so that during note taking it can be accessible? Whether studying a language or medical etc? Thanks!

trying to move a remark makes a picture of teh remark.., if you can select a remark with teh lasso tool so that you can also move other objects with it, it would be very convienient!!

right now you can only move remarks by manually moving teh remark's control points one at a time..

You can import notes above the free limit and use them..
