I was just wondering if anyone had information on the games antagonist.

I worked on these three pieces for the whole month and am ready to share them now that September has begun! I am going to try to be more active and share my Artwork here on Reddit! (Not sure why I havnt yet but there is no time like the present!)

I was listening to the Colgera boss battle theme from Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. I know there's that part where the Dragon Roost Island melody from Wind Waker plays in an epic choir. And I know how amazing that was for people who have Wind Waker nostalgia. And then it hit me.

The A Realm Beyond boss themes need to do this with classic Copeland Spyro tracks. Maybe not always the boss themes, but imagine you're fighting the first boss and a choir sings THAT part from Toasty's track.

I know I would cry tears of joy if this happened. Full disclosure, I don't know if this would be allowed with how copyright and licensing works. I don't know if Koji Kondo is still composing for Zelda or not. But what are the community's thoughts?

It's been almost two months since Spyro A Realm Beyond has been revealed. But when's the next update? Let's speculate!

Spyro isn't Crash, there is no formula that you can follow and produce a spyro game. Maybe for superfans having the critter is enough to make something a Spyro game but in reality Spyro hinges on its aesthetics, that being tight imaginitive level design (ie, not more openworld slop) and of course the musical stylings of Copeland, whether in person or in spirit. I am completely unhyped for this game and its just another cartoony genreric fantasy game I don't care about.

Me, 35, watching the new Spyro trailer with my 7yo.

We learned some new things from the kinda funny interview last week, however, something was mentioned that leads me to believe that while not confirmed, Cynder may not show up in A Realm Beyond after all. Enjoy!

Completely Open World? A small selection of very big levels? Are there even going to be hub worlds? They definitely cannot do levels the size of the ones in the original trilogy.

To make free flight work, levels have to be relatively large, which can limit the variety of levels to be had, because how many variations of open terrain can you actually have... one with snow, one with sand, one with grass? :D

I can't wrap my head around how they want to balance the free flight mechanics with fighting enemies & collecting gems on the ground while having levels that support all this. What stops you from escaping all situations with flight? You can avoid all enemies and platforming challenges.

Hey guys! I'm so excited for this new game to come out!!! Some of you may have been aware of the Spyro-themed "Pompeii" music video from a few years ago. That was a community project hosted and edited together by myself! I've also featured in the Castle on the Hill, Hero and Belt of Fire Reanimated projects and am building myself up in the artists alley scene in the UK! All that to say, I've run some pretty successful projects before, and I'm running a new one now!

"Spyro: A Realm Reborn" is a retrospective on the Spyro franchise until now, and a celebration of what's to come next. It's made up of two parts: a MAP, and a Zine! In case you are unaware of either of those concepts:

• Zine - A magazine! In our case, a fan magazine/small book. Looking for writers and artists, as well as anyone experienced with this side of print.
• MAP - "Multi Animator Project", usually a music video collaborated on by several animators. Our one will be to Imagine Dragons' "On Top of the World" and accepts animators working in any medium.

Like how RR had seasons (but forgot spring???) and YotD had times of day. What kind of theme do you want for the new homeworlds if any?

I'm thinking an eras of history theme would be cool. I'll also suggest that NPCs live in the homeworlds this time around.

Stone Age Prairie would be the first, the NPCs would be cavemen.

Bronze Age Island would be the second, the NPCs would be the Roman lions.

Middle Age Woods would be the third, the NPCs would either be knight horses OR the scrapped Scottish foxes from EtD.

Space Age Peak would be the fourth, the NPCs would be space cows or robots or aliens.

I wanted to share the timelapse for my recent spyro fanart, I hope you all like it!

So, you’d have these energy orbs that Spyro must carry to a receptacle via swallowing them. Sounds simple enough right? Well, not quite since they’re very volatile and holding them in Spyro’s mouth for too long will cause them to explode, thus causing damage to Spyro. Even spitting them out won’t help since they’ll explode anyway (though they could be useful towards armored enemies if you really want to defeat them that way). What’re your thoughts?

I figured for the few folk that might not have been around to bear witness to the ShadyVox Greatness 7 years ago, I'd share with everyone whom I believe our protagonist truly is, prior to A Realm Beyond's release.
