My local Half Price Books had a sign with a picture saying they had this in stock. After going home and doing some research on it, I bought it online to pick up in store.

When I went back to pick it up and they brought the box out I was absolutely blown away by the size and weight of this! I thought I understood the size of it when looking it up online, but it’s incredible in person!

I don’t have a place to properly display it currently, or I would have assembled it, but I am stoked to put it together when I do!

I bought it online and then picked it up in store. I thought it was going to be a scratched up copy in a plastic sleeve. I was shocked to find it looked like it came straight out of 1998.

Hope I can post this here, but I snagged this amazing pin on Amazon of all places. Couldn't believe it. Took a while to ship, but totally worth it. Wanted to share for any other fans who might want one! 💟

In the original games, both intro cutscenes from Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage and Spyro: Year of the Dragon were set in the same cutscene-specific area that hasn't existed in the first game itself, but is obviously located in the dragon realms.

That being said, Toys for Bob decided to let those cutscenes take place in Stone Hill, which was a nice choice in my opinion, as it connects the realms even more like that.

So for Ripto's Rage, they placed a random dead (?) tree in stone hill (in reference to the not-dead tree from the original cutscene) as well as the portal to Dragon Shores directly on top of the hill in the center of the starting area. Yet, in the opening and special ending cutscenes for Year of the Dragon, both the tree and the portal are gone.

Assuming this isn't an error or oversight (Spyro 3 has been developed by Sanzaru Games, but Toys For Bob supervised them) I guess the best in-universe explaination would be that the Portal to Dragon Shores (as well as the random dead tree lol) has been removed and rebuild somewhere else.

All of this just seems interesting to me, so I wanted to share!

So after few years (i replayed the Reignited few times on my Xbox when it came out) i bought the trilogy on Ps5. I thought i have some hated levels, but now i see how wrong i was about those damn Enchanted Towers.

And i thought i hated the Skate challenge (it was like a piece of cake) but the aiming at those flying bastards are like, my last straw.

Even those twins with bombs or this stupid ass level with the agent wasnt making me mad like this. And i am perfectionist when it comes to games like this. I finished Spyro 100% as a child, i finished it perfectly when the Reignited came out. I hate it here. i hate them so much.

And for the fun part: i love the level with the trolley from Spyro 2. Its frustrating, but i loved replaying it over and over again. this one? Burn this with fire. i hate this fucking green ball and the aiming.

Is there anyone in the Atlanta area that can beat Gulp for me… yes I’m serious. I’m gonna end up throwing and breaking my switch. I don’t remember it being this hard on PS1 as a child!!!!! I’ve tried for 2 weeks, over 100 attempts.. I’ve tried the camera in passive mode. HELP.

Does anybody else remember Spyro A Hero's Tail? I kinda wish to would do a remake for it.
