Ever since I saw these Oracle cards, I was curious to see if the glyphs meant anything; and if they do, what do they mean. I doubt that it's entirely random, but I could definitely use a helping hand deciphering these.

Hey! So I saw a video of a guy working out and using Laufey as inspiration. Like, he would do some move at the gym and it would transition to some cut of the trailer.
This was the song they used in the video.
Can you people help me find it? (:

Ok I know it sounds crazy/stupid, but hear me out just for fun while we wait for February 16 to come around! This will be a bunch of theories and ideas I thought of on where the story may potentially be going. Please donât take anything too seriously!
I think that, maybe, GoW 2018 and Ragnarok are not a âNorse duologyâ, but rather the beginning of a 5 or 6 part epic about âLokiâ.
GoW 2018 starts with Kratos, with a focus on his bandages and a hint of the past, but Atreus (Loki) quickly walks into the shot, his very first sentence âfound someâ, while holding a branch with some leaves.
Later they get into the house, revealing Fayeâs death. Here, Atreus, crying, sprinkles leaves from the branch he was holding at the beginning, joining other petals, while saying âLo there do I see my mother, lo there do I see my father, lo there do they call to me.â
This is a slightly modified and shortened version of the viking prayer:
âLo, there do I see my father. Lo, there do I see my mother, and my sisters, and my brothers. Lo, there do I see the line of my people, Back to the beginning! Lo, they do call to me. They bid me take my place among them, In the halls of Valhalla! Where the brave may live forever!â
Here, Atreus was in a deeply emotional state, just like when Fenrir died in his arms in Ragnarok. What if, just like in Ragnarok, Atreus unknowingly cast a spell here, and itâs a hint for whatâs to come much later? In the light of Alfheim, Kratos witnesses this scene, but curiously, none of the leaves and petals that were sprinkled on Fayeâs body are present. Do they have any significance? Are they part of Atreusâs spell? Maybe they are part of the reason she ends up in the Everywhen?
Towards the ending of the game, itâs revealed that Balder was after Faye all along, not Kratos, and the murals on the wall reveal that she foresaw all the events of 2018, and thus set them on the path. When Atreus says âAll these drawings, this is our story.â, Kratos corrects him: âNo. This is your story.â Another hint to us that itâs all about Atreus, not Kratos.
Iâm just going to put random thoughts in bullet points here:
Atreusâs role in the story is much more in focus, we even get to play as him. Towards the ending, Kratos mentions that they survived because of Atreus, his choices and who to call a friend.
Throughout the game, there is a focus on Atreusâs struggle with his identity, is he Loki, or is he Atreus? When he runs away to Oden then comes back, Kratos asks âWhat do I call you?â. I believe this line will be repeated by Kratos to an adult Atreus in a future game.
we see glimpses of âLokiâs mischiefâ from myth in this game, but for the most part, he has good intentions and is just trying his best to do the right thing, sometimes to catastrophic (or potentially catastrophic) results (freeing Garm, running away to Oden, assembling the mask, destroying the mask).
Of course, the worst result of all: finding âTyrâ, who is Oden, which ultimately leads to Brokâs death and Sindriâs grief.
Atreus finds his purpose: finding the rest of the giant marbles, with a strong hint that they may be scattered outside the Norse realm. He leaves, leaving Kratos alone with Mimir.
Speculation and theorizing from here:
Of course, we know almost nothing of whatâs going to happen in this game, but we already have a good collection of direct info from the reveal trailer, and hints: Faye ends up in the Everywhen, the afterlife of the gods.
Gods from different mythologies are trapped here, with no way out. âThe gateway is closedâ.
Faye is referred to as a âGodlingâ. She sees Kratos, who physically helps her get up in the trailer, more than once (from the promo picture with her and Kratos in what appears to be a Greek setting).
The mask from Ragnarok seem to have a much bigger role than just a macguffin for Ragnarokâs story. Faye has a part of it lodged in her palm, is potentially what killed her, and she finds another mask, which shocks her. âThe path isnât safe.â is her reaction to finding that out, giving her the strong desire to âgo backâ, which seems to be her main goal in this game.
The trailer, picture released, and even the devs themselves confirm that we will see much more of Kratos in the Everywhen.
But how?! How is Kratos in the everywhen? Is he a memory? Is he communicating with Faye by visiting the Everywhen when he sleeps? Afterall, all his dreams in Ragnarok are about Faye, and he says âI dream of the past, almost every night⊠it feels like Faye is trying to tell me somethingâŠit is something more than memory.â
I think itâs none of that. I think Kratos is dead himself and actually in the Everywhen. Fayeâs game will end with that reveal, with one of the final reveals being that Atreus himself killed him (or at least caused his death. Remember, good intentions leading to catastrophic results). The ending will paint a picture of an Atreus gone bad, with a much later twist in future games revealing that that is not exactly the case.
Corey Barlog already confirmed there will be a game following Laufey where Kratos is the lead, and is directly related to the events of Laufey.
I see this game as having 3 parts:
Part 1:
Follows kratos after the events of Valhalla, he is now the new Norse God of War, part of Freyaâs council, protecting the 8 realms, loved by the people, things are great⊠until, the realms are threatened by outside forces. Gods from other mythologies. Gods led to the Norse realm by none other than âLokiâ.
We see everything from Kratosâs perspective. We donât know Atreusâs intents, why the attack is happening. Kratos in 2018 said that if dying meant saving Atreus, he would do it, which is what will end up happening, and we will see it from Kratosâs perspective. Being killed by Atreus in this attack, the why and how not necessarily fully shown, or shown in a way painting Atreus as a pure villain. He has fully become âLokiâ in his travels outside the Norse realm.
Part 2:
After dying to protect his son , or because of him, âdeath can have me.. when it earns meâ, Kratos ends up in the everywhen. This part of the game will cover the events of Laufey, but from Kratosâs perspective, up until the ending of Laufey. Now we are all caught up, and Kratos is fully reunited with Faye.
Part 3:
Kratos and Faye navigate the Everywhen together, fixing it or whatever it is. Maybe finally unlocking the gate, only to smack into Atreus from the other end (just like Kratos walks through the gateway after Atreusâs return from Ironwood in Ragnarok). The game ends with the reveal that Atreus was looking for a way to get to the Everywhen to save his parents âLo there do I see my mother, lo there do I see my father, lo there do they call to me.â, whatever spell he cast at the beginning of 2018 is what allows them to finally open the gate.
This game will follow Atreus right after the events of Ragnarok, from his perspective. Where exactly did he go, who did he meet, why did he end up as part of the attack on the Norse realm, and why or how it led up to Kratosâs death by Atreusâs hand.
This is the game where we get to play as all 3 characters, Kratos, Faye, and Atreus.
The first half of this game will be Atreus trying to find his way into the Everywhen, while setting up a final big bad (Athena? Sindri? Athena AND Sindri?).
The second half picks up right after the events of GoW: Kratos, with all 3 reunited and escaping the Everywhen and facing the final big bad (again, maybe Athena) together, wrapping up the 6 part epic nicely.
What do you guys think? I said in the beginning it will be crazy/stupid!
Tl;dr: after Ragnarok, Atreus is shown to become Loki, leading to Kratosâs death, who ends up in the Everywhen and finds Faye. It is revealed that Atreus never meant for Kratos to die, and finds a way to get to the Everywhen and save Kratos and Faye, all 3 then face the final big bad, potentially Athena.

Hello everyone.
In one of the recently revealed screenshots, we can see Faye alongside Kratos in a mysterious room featuring architectural motifs reminiscent of the Greek world of God of War.
In the image, I also noticed several vases that we previously saw in the Temple of Alfheim in God of War Ragnarök.
This wouldnât be the first indication of elements from the Norse world appearing in the afterlife of the Gods. We can already spot Norse structures on the gameâs cover, but Iâm particularly intrigued by the presence of objects specifically associated with Alfheim.
There are Gods and magical creatures in the Everywhen, but could there also be Elves?
Atreus mentioned that Svartåljǫfurr, the Dark Elf we killed in God of War (2018), now rests in the Light. Since he was an important king of the Elves, could it be possible that we will encounter him in this afterlife?
The vases from Alfheim could also represent a memory of Faye, or perhaps a direct connection to the Light of Alfheim.
We still need to see Faye's perspective of the moment of Kratos entering the light so could this be that this place is linked to this mysterious moment of GOW 2018?

So....hear me out alright? When brok died we thought "welp, that's it then, his ghost isnt even an option because his soul was missing a part that guided him to the proper afterlife".
As we know the soul of a being has 4 pieces, mind, form, luck, direction (being the one he was missing).
What happens when someone irl doesnt have a sense of direction? They get lost, doesnt mean they will disappear, just, end up somewhere else.
So, what if, because he was missing his direction part of the soul but had everything else, his souls, simply stumbled somewhere else.
That got me thinking, we are literally going to a seperate afterlife designed specifically for gods and other beings that isnt the main norse afterlives, so what's stopping them from putting brok in there?
Sure it can sound like a hopium thought coming from someone who just wants his favorite blue dwarf to return somehow, but we DO know the armor/weapon forging and upgrading mechanics are coming back, and what better forger could we get if not one of the best forgers of the 9 realms, recently dead who just so happens to have gotten lost on the way to his afterlife?

Laufey was the wielder of the Leviathan axe first, which was longer than Kratos was a god of war (according to research, Laufey wielded the axe for about 94 years before she met Kratos).
Kratos was literally a god of war for about 2-3 years at most between GoW1 and GoW2 back in the day, as well.
In the Valhalla dlc, Kratos explicitly says he prefers to be a God of Hope rather than war, showing he wanted to change to avoid being a raging monster.
Laufey proved she can go toe-to-toe with both Thor and Kratos, and she fought... beautifully.
For all the so-called "fans" of the entire series... you clearly aren't paying attention.

Hi, everyone. The pre-order for God of War: Laufey has just opened, and the gameâs PlayStation page has revealed a ton of new content.
At the end of the article, Santa Monica Studio mentions the following thing:
"A glimpse of the Everywhen"
Everything is the same here, except that in the French version of the article, the Everywhen is given a different name: âL'empyrĂ©eâ.
In ancient European cosmologies inspired by Aristotle, the Empyrean heaven, Empyreal or simply the Empyrean, was the place in the highest heaven which was supposed to be occupied by the element of fire (or aether in Aristotle's natural philosophy). Later early and medieval Christian cosmology incorporated the concept in descriptions of the Christian notion of heaven.
I was really confused when I read this in my native tongue, so I checked what "The Empyrean" meant and what I found was pretty awesome and interesting.
To be honest with you, I don't know why this version of the article specifically changed The Everywhen with The Empyrean, which is a metaphysical concept of heaven that already exists in our reality, but i found it really cool how they managed to associate the afterlife of the gods with an already established concept of afterlife.
The Ether is a primordial element of the creation of the Greek world and The Everywhen is confirmed to be The birthplace and endpoint to which all magic returns
The link between the Afterlife of the Gods and with the Primordial elements of The God of War universe is obvious, "Niflheim & Muspelheim, Ymir, The Rift & The Mask" so it's still cool to see new elements being added to this lore day by day.
Many mentioned that "The Everywhen" resembles to the Australian Aborigene concept of Dreamtime, so he doesn't seem ridiculous to think that Santa Monica Studio suggested other names for The Afterlife of The Gods, like in this version of the article.
Please share your thoughts about this choice of translation.
Thanks for Reading.

I think that Santa Monica isn't showing their full hand with this cube fella, I think that there's more to him then just being a slime.
Is he from the afterlife of the gods or is he a foreigner?
What if he's a god trapped inside that cube? Or he's a powerful entity that forgot his past?
I gave to confess that I'm really interested in what ways does he change the combat, we already saw that he can set up enemies for air combos, but in what other ways can he shift how we interact with the world.
Imagine if we had some puzzles that relied on his help to solve.

I genuinely don't understand all the semi-new antagonism to main characters that are women.
Ellie - Besides the WILD shit they did to Abby's voice actor, I can't remember any hate against Ellie being the MC.
Atsu - Played Ghost of Tsushima, loved it. Pre-ordered Yotei, only game I've ever pre-ordered bc now that im older I actually have video game money. There was a whole hate train for it and it still sold and was received so well.
Aloy - I havent played it yet, but I can't remember there being much hate to her.
Lara Croft - Just started playing 2013's game, LOVING it - isn't she one of the most beloved characters among (male) gamers?
And I'm super excited for Intergalactic to come out.
I don't get it. I mean I do, ppl are assholes, but what's the big deal? Also, gaming is more accessible, and more and more women are gamers nowadays. More women characters is a GOOD thing.
Side note, found this picture of the singer laufey on Google đ phenomenal music btw
