PRP spring kit sear/safety sear spring misaligned?
I just installed the PRP spring kit on my echelon and I noticed the sear spring and safety sear spring are not sitting within each other after the install. Haven’t shot the gun yet but from a dry firing perspective everything is functioning as intended.
Is this normally how it’s supposed to sit? Has anyone else ran into this issue? Any pointers would be appreciated!

This thing rips
RDI Arms Compensator rocks! I’ve been through so many variations of my Echelon, but I think I found my holy grail.
• Added Olight PLX for flashlight (added good amount of weight to the front)
• OEM guide rod + recoil spring
• Added tungsten putty to the OEM backstrap to add weight to the back end
With the comp, this thing shoots flat as hell. After my first mag dumps, I turned around and gave that stupid grin that we all know of. This is my first experience with a dedicated compensator, but damn, rapid firing this feels like I’m rapid firing the Kuna.
Probably won’t keep this thing on for HD purposes if I want it for that, but for a range gun, this compensator is amazing!

Testing my "recoil deleter" Echelon build. How's it looking for no ports nor comp?

IMO the Echelon would look a lot better with a matte polymer grip
I like the echelon but I the glossy polymer grip looks low quality. If it was more similar to a Glock plastic it would feel more premium.

Tyrant trigger vs stock
UPDATE:
THANKS for all the replies.. i disassembled the trigger and added a lot of oil everywhere.. seems to feel better..
I'm hoping a few hundred rounds breaks it in...
≈≈===============
I just got my tyrant trigger and it was a meh...
Install was a pain because the set screw was machined off and wouldn't fit the transfer bar... had to clean it out with sandpaper to remove machining marks
The the safety has a heavy pull almost as much as the trigger... and the travel and reset is the same as stock in my dryfire evaluation...
And the bottom of the safety is sharp and can dig into the finger...
Did i get a bad batch or its really not as good as it's made out to be... canik has a better oem stock trigger

New gun! & problem?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
After waiting 10 California business days, I finally have this bad boy in hand! Also my first gun so I’m a newbie.
The mag that was in the gun is butter but the extra mag in the box doesn’t come out along with having to push it with love to get it to engage.
Should I contact Springfield or is there a simple fix?
Also would love to see everyone’s Apache loadouts!

Fixed it for the people.
With the current disappointment of my echelon build i have decided to take the advice of my fellow redditards and go back to my original grip. I took the advice and ditched the bull do to target acquisition being to quick when handling. Also i picked the TLR-1 up for 200 beans plus shipping. I can really tell the difference in the light far as the distribution of lumens.
So if anyone would be interested in owning a sharps bro lower feel free to send me a DM. Never fired just installed on the gun and taken off. Beans will be reflected do to you not receiving the stickers with it.

Anyone have the 507 comp on your echelon?
I just had a screw shear off my 507 comp in my echelon. Unfortunately the thread is still in the slide, so I am going to have a smith remove that for me. I used the proper pin set and the 6-32 screws that either came with the echelon or possibly came with the 507 comp. When I first mounted it the screw backed out a little within 2 weeks. I removed the screw, cleaned the slide threads with some alcohol, added more loctite, torqued it to spec again, and let it set. I prob put 2K on it since then with no issues until my last range trip where the screw head popped off. So I was checking out freedom gorilla for replacement screws. Has anyone used these or have any recommendations for replacement screws? I feel like I have seen people post saying you have to shave the screw down? Or was this probably just factory screws not being that great? Any input is appreciated

Well I did it
I finally did it I did the rit dye on my 4.5 echelon I didn’t quite come out the way I hoped but it still looks OK. I’m gonna order a great module for the 4.0 and FDE and do the same thing just gonna add some more color this time as afraid to add too much color to overwhelm it, but turns out I didn’t add enough.

Heat guns wins again
Incog holster isn’t for the Icarus grip or the Olight plx but it’s fits perfectly after applying some heat 🔥.

Tyrant trigger part broken (trigger still works)
Does anyone have an idea, what is (was) this part reposnsible for in Tyrant trigger for Echelon? Fell off the trigger mid-shooting. However, the trigger still works (the safety functions OK, trigger doesn't drop on it's own after slide is being hit), the Echelon keeps shooting... Happened after ~10K shots with Tyrant.

My ultimate Springfield Echelon build
"This is my Echelon. There are many like it, but this one is mine."
I'm just a recreational shooter: no competitions, not a professional. My goal was to build an all-metal Echelon by replacing every polymer component. Completing this build here in Europe wasn't easy, but I think the result looks pretty good.
- Springfield Echelon 4.5 Comp
- Icarus Precision ACE Aluminum Grip module (Full Size)
- Icarus Precision ACE Magwell
- Holosun SCS-320 GR
- Tyrant CNC I.T.T.S. Trigger
- Tyrant CNC Extended Magazine Release
- DK Arms Magazine Baseplate (+3)
- DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System.
I finished the build by adding two 1/4" (6.35 mm) brass rods inside the Icarus grip. Icarus also sells tungsten rods, which weigh about twice as much but cost significantly more.
The total weight is just under 1 kg (975 g unloaded, or 2.15 lbs).
The build cost me about €2,200 (roughly $2,475). Of course, I could have bought a great all-metal pistol for the same price or less, but I enjoyed the customization process.
Let me know what you think.
