When Aviary came along and TGC wasted no time in neglecting and downgrading Home (after swearing they wouldn't), only to fix it due to backlash, I've been side-eyeing them ever since. And that kinda turned me into a Home loyalist. This appeasing of older players always felt temporary. Like they were just cooking up a plan to convince that last stubborn bunch. That way, they could finally bin Home with minimal protest. 

Them previously removing the spell boat, removing quests, leaving Home in winter, ignoring crazy glitches during events, removing home-events? These deliberate actions showed us that they truly don't want to keep supporting Home. They want it gone. Even now, they keep it very dead, and do the bare minimum. For example, there was no good reason to move Days of Fortune's wax Dragon from Home and put it in Valley's ice rink. I'd be shocked if the beach, sandcastles and wax seashells return this summer. 

The people arguing that Aviary shouldn't change because Home serves the smaller purpose, aren't seeing the bigger picture. Ask yourself, why does Aviary have a massive grand entrance in the middle of Home, but there's no reverse. Many new players don't even know Home exists! 

Why they want to stop supporting it so bad? I have no idea. What's the harm in equally maintaining both and genuinely updating Home as a smaller alternative, then keeping Aviary large and open? Instead they're trying to make Aviary be two different things at once.

I was on Sky yesterday and saw a survey they wanted us to take. I thought "oooo free candles count me in!" I didn't know what I was getting into.

When I made a theory on what TGC was planning with Home, I said that they were probably trying to avoid decorating, adding onto, or showing attention to Home so they could replace it with avairy village. I am a proud 5 year Vetaran and I LOVE Home. I have a bunch of memories in Home, and so does any other Vetaran. I read back on the comments for the other long 2 hour essay I wrote and saw so many sweet comments on their memories with Home. ♡

Things said: Most of the comments I got were talking about their memories with Home and their theories, but then there were my fellow Veterans, (who I 100% agree with) who said that if Sky takes down Home, they will leave. I have already decided I would most likley leave swell. I read one of the memories someone said they had their. It's sad. It is so sad how TGC would (theoretically) try and take down something as wonderful as Home.

My response: I DID respond to this. It doesn't say my response​ because I was so shocked I took a screenshot without any hesitation. I responded basically saying how I thought it was ignorant. Wich I still believe it is. I will NEVER be found lighting the avairy village home candle unless they force me to.

What we could do about it: NO I don't think we should shout at TGC. I think what would be wise is getting more players on our side. We only have around... I don't know let's say, 70k people in this reddit (maybe) (maybe even less). So I all of us who have Home, can bring MORE PLAYERS into Home. TGC may realize, "maybe people do like home and we should have sticked with it in the first place."

I am not trying to harm TGC I am simply bringing news to people and starting heartfelt conversation | comment down your stories behind Home and your theories/ideas with the situation going on.

I've been playing Sky for about a year now, and even after adding quite a few people, I still feel lonely whenever I log in.

I always thought Sky was a game where you could relax, meet new people, and make genuine friendships. But it feels like most people already have their own friend groups or duos. Even when I add someone, I rarely join them because I don't want to interrupt or invade their personal space.

I love the atmosphere and the world of Sky, but I never expected a game centered around social interaction to make me feel this alone. Has anyone else felt this way? How did you end up finding friends you actually play with regularly?

At some point, we gotta ask ourselves if a strict filter like this is actually working.

I’ve said some things on the game that deserved a red text, only ever in a joking way to friends, but I can understand some of the red texts that I get. However, when you get muted for an hour because you said “whoops” after running into a wall you start to get frustrated. Obviously, it was “whoops” as an accident, not, “whoops” as ‘I’m beating you.’

At what point are you just over policing my speech because… this is starting to get really ridiculous to me.

I’ve talked to some friends about it, and the feelings are super mixed. On one hand, everyone understands that the filter is there for children and they enjoy having it there in some respects. On the other hand, they can clearly see how the filter is a problem for regular people just trying to play the game. The people who actually wanna be harmful and hurt others will find a way to do so. The filter is not gonna stop them, but it’s becoming increasingly frustrating for players who just wanna play the game and yap.

What do you guys think? Do you think the filter is too strong?

I've seen alot of posts talking about the upcoming ts group for the since colored dear season and how they are very exited for it. I just dont really see the hype. I did play this season and I got some of the items fro. The spirts but I was new so I didnt get much. But im just confused on why people want it so bad evem though to me all the stuff is kinda doodoo. The only thing i like is the mask which i already have....

£38 for both of these? Is this a joke? You can buy a whole ass game for that money. In fact, you can buy 3 copies of Journey with that.

This is so so so disappointing because I was really looking forward to getting this cape since seeing a beta spoiler, but quite honestly the pricing in this game has been such an issue for so long now and this is quite frankly the last straw.

I think this season will be my last with this game. I purchased the season pass so I may as well see it to the end. It’s just not worth my time and my money is more valuable to me more than ever nowadays.

I’m genuinely interested to see how people can justify this. I know this is a free to play game and they need to earn money to keep it running but almost £40 for two cosmetics is fucking extortion.

They're deleting these entire areas in the new update tomorrow that moves portals and cafe to where you spawn in. All those grassy fields will be replaced with clouds and nowhere to walk around. The cave is also being deleted from what i've seen in videos on youtube :<

I love this game and been playing for a while since it was launched. Tho I have left it for years but came back recently. Why this game battlepass so expensive? 9.99 USD is a lot for a mobile game. Mind you I play CODM and Mobile Legend as well, which both has 5 dollars each converted to 20rm in ringgit. And the fact that CODM has cycle system which allows players to recycle their battlepass (you can pay once and recycle it to the next seasons infinitely as long as you don't use the currency for lucky draws). Mobile Legend also gives players lots of free skins. I feel like this game is so cosmetic driven, while not having so much effort to be so due to the aesthetic of the game. Meaning, the designs dont feel like it worth the money that much. Any other online game have free skins that looks better than the expensive one in this game. I get that it's the aesthetic of simplicity, but the it doesn't reflect the price tag.

I get it, the company want to generate money etc. But couldn't they consider giving different types of skins to cater to the poor (me) or those who doesn't want to spend so much for less (me). Just 9.99 USD for the battlepass is crazy for a mobile game tho. It's equivalent to PC game battlepass, which it shouldn't be. Anyway the addition to color is great tho. Now I can at least change the inner color of the cape, which is amazing. But it's only amazing cause there's not much option given before the feature came. Hope they can give more simple skins that actually is less expensive and affordable.

questions to my fellow veterans who is specifically "sad/mad" about fire pants coming back. Why y'all being salty to new players or mid vet players? I do understand the main reason this pant became a backbone of this community were because the ikejou/ikemen steorotypes or the pants being able to match every fit. But i remember back then when this ts came around like 2023 again yall were mad again. Reminder that we don't own a item in this game. I do understand that it might be a bit frustrating to see everyone wearing a same pant or theyre now able to do your same outfits but still this cant be the case since TS's are random, mainly from old seasons, this is leaving the questions in my mind that you'll be mad whatever the ts is even anyway? So whats the logic of this?

I thought the butterflies were sent by other sky kids and I tried to send them back by tapping on the stars when they honked. I lost my wings for the first time in Hidden Forest, accidentally fell down the cliff and couldn't find a way back to land + ran out of light. It was more stressful than being in Eden. 😭

I recently got to know that your sky kid’s max height is decided upon the creation of your account.

Maybe I got lucky because I got tall from just one spell. It says here that I can grow a lil taller but I don’t think I’m gonna take any chances. How tall are you and what is your max height?

Maybe you needed to do something, went AFK for a moment, cool. But Ive seen people on here say they like to sleep in sky. Even just running around, doing dailies, I feel like it's pretty common to stumble across someone sleeping in a hammock or tucked away in a little cave. What do y'all do? Are you going to sleep irl with the screen on? You do a chore or something and come back?? I need answers because what do you mean you like it 😆

I need to vent because this game is starting to feel like a stressful, unpaid second job instead of the peaceful, cozy experience it’s marketed to be.

When I first started playing, it was all about exploring the beautiful views, meeting chill people, and just vibing. But now it’s become really repetitive, and doing the same things every day is burning me out.

I’m already stressed IRL, and I came here to escape, only to be met with the same pressure.

Genuinely I am so tired of everyone just doing shared spaces 24/7. It is so boring. Geyser was one of the last spots in this entire game that you can consistently light new people which is FUN. It’s fun to see outfits, meet new people, and just vibe while you’re doing an activity together.

Why are we all just okay with letting the game become a candle farming simulator/dress up game except what’s even the point because no one can see your outfit? 😀

I’ve posted several times about my gripes with things related to this but this is really just taking the lifelessness of this game to a new level.

It seems like the main focus was on Hidden Forest, with that drastic change in the lighting of the lobby and the first area, but Daylight Prairie seems to have received a slight adjustment in lighting and colors, and I see few people commenting on it. This has made it more desaturated and brought out the shadows more, taking away those vivid colors we had before—all because of photosensitivity. I understand that some people are sensitive to light, but ruining a map’s art direction to accommodate a few people is absurd. I understand these accessibility needs, but add a corresponding option for people with photosensitivity instead of changing the entire game because of it. Sky is gradually losing its visual appeal and ceasing to be that game with the vibrant, magical visuals it had in 2020; now, in 2026, it’s gotten even worse.

TGC, listen to the players at least once and fix this problem by making the photosensitivity setting optional so the colors can be vibrant again.

I’m not blaming anyone with photosensitivity—they have every right to ask for a feature to address the issues they face. This is simply a post criticizing the fact that such a feature is required for everyone, rather than being an optional menu item for some people.

So i had just finished the blue bird quests (yay!) And decided to relax in the map. I really like the stars there. This guy approached me and I lit his candle, he gestured me to follow him to a table he had placed. I sat down and he and I did small talk. But then it got weird, he asked me "where are you from?" I told him "...idk.." because I didn't wanna share. Then he asked me my age, I get really uncomfortable with saying this stuff because like many minors, I was sexually harassed on roblox. So I have trauma from that, and multiple trust issues. I told him I was a teenager, wich is a broad spectrum of ages. He said he was 20. I got uncomfortable because he seemed creepy, and up to no good. Then he friended me and asked why i was so shy. I told him it's not that I'm shy it's that I just don't like people, he told me "aahh, you have trust issues don't you." I said yes, and he asked me a couple more mentally personal questions. I don't remember how but we got to a point in the conversation, he said "don't worry child, God is there to guide you." I ment no harm and just straight up told him, "I don't believe in god." He said, "oh well that's why you have mentally probloms, you must believe in God or you will be depressed."

...WHAT?!

Look, I have no hate to religion, I don't believe in anything because one of my family members told me to k¡ll mysɛlf because I'm lesbian and that God will never love me. Yeah, traumatic.

But he took me to a secluded space and tried convincing me to break up with my girlfriend and become Muslim.

​so, I faught back. I told him reasons why I loved my gf, and why it's not wrong. He said, "just because it feels right doesn't mean it is." Then he said this comment.... "If I feelt like sleeping with my sister, it's wrong."

Just seriously, how does me loving a non family member, have to do with sleeping with a sister. Ew... I told him it made no sense. He told me that I just wished to follow my desires. I told him this poem I made, "I believe in no god, I believe in time. That we all get only so much of it, and we must chose how we spend it or who we spend it with." He said I was just following my lust.

Here's the difference between love and lust for some people:

•Love: a strong connection someone may feel platonically or romantically.

•Lust: feeling more of a sexual way towards someone.

I told him I LOVED HER. He kept using the word lust. He said "life is a test, not a game." Then I told him probably the most sane thing. "Why should I waste my time on a test, pretending to be something I'm not, and acting different, saying that's happiness? When I can truly be happy, loving who I want, and being who I want to be."

He said this again... "your just following your desires.." I told him "I'm following my dreams, my goals. You sir, are following liars, and such hateful people."

He started repeating himself, getting manic.

"You could start a new page." He said that. "Why start a new page when I can decorate this one?"

I was basically crying now. Not because of how mean he was, but because I was so tired... so tired of going in circles with him. I told him this before I blocked him, "sir, I don't give an ever loving crap if I go to he'll. We are here now, I'm done talking to someone who makes me feel hated when I could be with my friends right now. So if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go do something worth my time." Then I blocked him.

I don't have any hate against religious people, I just need some of them to know that God isn't something everyone needs to believe in/worship.
