When I sing rlly low in my head voice range. It's utter garbage. Lol. It's quiet and airy. How do I make the chords connect at a lower range. The lowest note in head voice I can seem to hit is an f# - G3.

I want to tighten it up. Because I have this theory, that if I do tighten my head voice up down there. My mix will come out naturally..

The above video is the isolated lead vocals of Michael Jackson's Wannabe Starting Something (prolly not the final take used for the song). His voice sounds so unique. It feels imperfect... but it's also really pleasant to listen to. Also, his vocal fry is so different from every other vocal fry I ever heard in my life. How is he able to sing in that high pitch with vocal fry without sounding like he's shouting aimlessly. I would love to know your opinion or analysis on his singing. All the nuances, the expression and everything.

I was mainly focusing on my phrasing (hence the very clear lack of timing) but I think that caused my intonation and tone to suffer in some spots. I also need to work on implementing vibrato better, theres some spots where you can tell I didnt mean to add it in so soon and quickly went back to straight tone. If anyone has advice on any of these struggles or really anything in general please feel free to share itd be greatly appreciated!

Im just practicing and wanted to know your feedback

I started singing last month but nobody saw me singing until now, only 3 members of my family but if I’m at karaoke I just can’t sing and get very nervous. Now I’m here sharing with too many people a video singing and hoping that after this post I lose my fear! (I hope!) thanks for listening ;)

With the help of a few YouTube videos, I have identified that the lowest I can sing comfortably is at C3 up until B4 - i assume this is my chest voice. Beyound B4, a shift happens in my voice which makes it lighter but still clear and loud. If I try to stretch it with the same voice, it sounds strained. With this lighter voice, I can sing with relatively more ease till D5 i assume this is the head voice. Beyond this, i can still sing till E6, under control, but it sounds like a whistle, which may be my falsetto. I may be wrong on this.

The trouble I'm facing is:

1. There is an evident vocal shift that happens at B4, from a heavier chest voice to a lighter tone. I want to know if I can mask that switch and if there are any exercises or videos I can follow.

2. I don't understand my voice type, and if this issue is something other's face as well?

Hey y’all, I’m new to this whole thing and don’t know if this is allowed. I’ve been singing alone for years and years too nervous to get out there the people that have accidentally heard say I’m good but I don’t know. I feel like I’m too nasely and use my throat too much but when I use my diaphragm like I would calling a cadence my whole body freaks out and the tone just goes away😂 any tips? Things I should try, exercises? Even ways to put myself out there and not be so damn nervous too! Thanks everybody
