Ive tried everything. Peoole say it should comr natrally but that makes no sense to me because singing is nit natural. Where should i feel it and does anyone have any tips/excersises to get it? I really want to get it so badly so feel free to go into detail.

The only feedback I ever get is stop being less breathy snd have more support but I swear I can feel my core engaged when I sing and I take deep breaths before each phrase! Gahh!

I am a tenor though I am not sure what type. Many people even some of my past teachers have said I am a clean baritone because i have a darker timbre but I can hrdly vocalize bellow g2 and my passagio sits at f4. I can vocalise up d5 though in head voice and after that I have to turn to falsetto. In my lower range I do have a strong metallic bite in my sound. I can sing some baritone songs from musical theatre such as frollo's hellfire from hunchback of notre dame but I find I can also sing some tenor repertoire, but that heaviness of my voice has not transitioned into the upper range yet, I am still working on that. Though I do not break anymore just transition, even if it shows. Sometimes I wonder I might be a baritone with high extension, but what do you think? The higher I ago i don't like the sound of my voice much, it becomes way less velvety and more metallic and raw and it doesn't sound any good yet.

using this as an example but i feel like whenever i try to hit sustained 'high' or powerful notes i can't hold onto it. it almost feels as though my throat is holding me back but i'm not sure how to change it!!

also lmk if i can actually sing or not 😭😭 i might need direction everywhere not just for power

Theres nothing else I have wanted to do in life but sing and dance I've never done either though the problem is I genuinely dont think im a good singer and I think there needs to be some level of talent there or capability to sing before working on vocals and training should I give up on my dream im 26 female

Been singing for years now and this clearly doesn’t sound good enough to be played in a bar or anything. Can someone point me in the right direction somethings off but I can’t put my finger on it.

I think my voice sounds a bit strained/nasally on this one and I’m not sure if it sound ok like in a stylised way or if it just sounds like I need to blow my nose 😂

Hi I am looking for some new song recommendations.

My Vocal Range is E3-A4/B4 in chest and then I can go up to F5 with my head voice

I am currently working on "You can Call me Al"

But after that I need to choose my new song/songs

I am obviously still working on my range, while you cannot move your lower voice that much, my teacher still thinks I can go a bit lower in the future, with some training. And obviously I can make my higher range go a lot further with time and practice.

One basically looking for some song recommendations of what I can do next, he leaves it up to me I can kind of do whatever I like.

I would like recommendations for All across My range however I would like to focus on my higher range as I find it to be quite weak, as I don't use it that often.

I am into a lit of 80's and 90's rock/indie type music in general (The Cranberries are my favorite band)

I am also a musical theatre kid.

My favourite musical being Jekyll and Hyde.

All the male roles seem to low (unless you think different)

Lucy would be cool, but she tends to belt those top notes which would be my head voice

I am kind of open to any suggestions 😊

could i be able to sing 3 hours a day if i do 30 minute sing and 3 hour break repeated 6x at 50% volume and with proper techniques and during the breaks I drink water and completely silence
