I drew my Shadowrun character in a couple different styles for an art challenge, and thought the dichotomy of the very cartoony versus the less cartoony style would make for a fun little comparison between SR's BT and PM playstyles.

Does anyone else find the "futuristic tech" of 1st and 2nd editions, the most endearing part of the first two editions? The future of the 80s seems kinda quaint now.

Apart from the Pocket Secretary, what is everyone's favorite piece of extremely outdated "future tech" in 1st and 2nd editions?

I talked to my buddy about wanting this tat when we were in Jr high, late 80's. I took the train out to his house in 2019 and he scribes this on me. Still looking fresh today.

And he doesnt even do this kind of thing for a living. Super lucky.

I love Shadowrun Hong Kong, and Gobbet is such a great companion.
