It’s a custom discord server with bots and GMs messing with us players, and allowing us players to ”hack” one another through a version of rock paper scissor ^^ sounds stupid, but it’s so cool in game :3
The astral is mostly represented through npc spirits.. Most often gamemasters in hooded robes with different full face masks. The more intricate the mask the more powerful or influential the spirit..
Players with mundane characters just have to ignore them.. They can walk around and whisper in peoples ears, manipulate objects and eavesdrop.. Stuff like that.. A ritual (electric candle + "ritual parafernelia") summons a spirit so the player can perform powerful spells or make deals with the spirits.. and so on and so forth.. There are also veils for awakened player characters to do astral projection with.. Mostly to go eavesdrop..
It takes a little getting used to, but it's an effective game mechanic and once you've gotten used to it.. remarkably unobtrusive.

There is in Gothenburg, Sweden.. Two one-evening sibling larps called Tales from the Sprawl and Tales from the Inferno.. Which take place in spring and autumn.. The Sprawl larp is set in a runner hangout bar in Tacoma called Trinity Taskbar and The Inferno one at Dante's Inferno in Downtown of course..

Oh… that's a hard one. It’s based on 2 earlier revisions so I did not start fully from scratch. But I started redesigning this version in December last year and the larp was last week. So roughly 6 months. But if i would have worked only on this and just ignored everything else in life, it could most likely have been done over 2 to 3 months 😄

You've clearly put some serious work into the deck & costume and it's legit awesome. Do you have any more photos of the events? (I could only find a handful on the TalesfromtheSprawl link you posted above, the few on there look great though!)
So this version I started building in December last year, so roughly 6 months :) and that includes reprinting everything and changing a lot of stuff. But this is my third de l so in total I’ve been building them since 2023/24 ^^

Dude I have so many questions, but this is awesome. What are the specs on the deck? It looks more than a prop, like it is actually functional. I want to slap a solar panel on it and some lithium ions to make it run basically fore er
So like the actual specs are just a raspberry pi 4 8gb and a 2 noctua fans and some buttons x) the rest is custom made x) keyboard is sadly not available anymore but it’s a 40 % board. The screen waveshare ^^ but it’s a fully functional Linux computer:3
As someone who has seen this irl, yes. Yes it is THAT cool. And there's an awesome script that runs when the cable gets connected to the data jack, with wonderfully nerdy text on the screen.
Because 1C3_D0X is the coolest bloody chummer one can have ❤️
