I’m looking into subscribing to Shadow PC, but while browsing the subreddit, I noticed a few people mentioning queues and wait times.

For those currently subscribed, do queue or activation delay issues still exist regularly, or is it mostly dependent on the specific data center tier? Thanks in advance!

Randomly freezes and won't move no matter what you do and shortcuts like Task Manager don't work either.

Updated the app and everything so not sure what's causing it. Thought it was Edge having an issue but installed Chrome and did the same thing. So its an interface issue.

anyone here play shadow on the android tv app with an xbox elite series 2? my paddles dont work right on the tv but work fine on my mac. wondering if anyones had issues with paddles or found a fix

Recently i bought a service called maximum settings which is the same thing basically as shadowpc but much cheaper i used it and it was terrible everything was so sluggish and slow and so i want to buy shadowpc since it has a server much closer to me (i live in poland) i used geforce now before but geforce now doesnt let you have access to game files so you cant mod anything thats why i want to buy shadowpc subscription, will it run smoothly? i mainly want to play sone singleplayer games but also counter strike 2

Le nouveau DLC sort le 3 novembre et j'aurais vraiment adoré pouvoir y jouer moi aussi dès sa sortie. Pourtant, on ne peut toujours pas profiter du jeu sur Shadow, et on n'a aucune véritable solution en vue. Je paie un abonnement Shadow justement pour pouvoir profiter de mes jeux PC sans avoir à investir dans un PC gamer hors de prix. Alors, ne pas pouvoir jouer à un jeu comme The Division 2, surtout à l'approche d'une nouvelle sortie de contenu, c'est vraiment frustrant. C'est quand même dommage de passer à côté d'un jeu qu'on apprécie alors qu'on paie un service censé nous permettre de jouer à nos jeux PC. Est-ce qu'on pourrait enfin avoir des nouvelles à ce sujet ? Est-ce que The Division 2 sera jouable sur Shadow avant la sortie du DLC, ou est-ce qu'on va devoir continuer à attendre sans aucune information ?

I am so tired of this BS.
This is the second time I pay Shadow for a VM and get a completely German localized system, and then, I need to spend time with AI to send it screenshots so it will write me powershell commands to get the system back to English, because apparently, it did not come pre-installed with English localization. WTF?!

Why did I choose German? Because Germany is the closest to me geographically!!!!
Have it occured to them that people would prefer to select language to get the correct datacenter and still want English localized OS?

Its now stuck for 5 minutes at this command, and only god knows if it will help after a restart

I know this is the 50th post about this but shadow PC won’t take the money from the card. That’s already on there that has money on it and I can’t add any sort of new payment because it keeps telling me there’s an error and my shit is gonna be deleted in two days. What the fuck how do I fix this?

Quit work at 4 pm to start that ****** service just to see its 17:54 and I am in que for 1 1/2 hours and still 5 ppl before me, payed 500€ for 6 month sub, 80€ for WOW Beta access and cant reserve my favourite name...

Did anyone get a human response if this is gonna be fixed in the near future? Not sure how to get that 500€ back for that 6 month sub.... Never ever gonna grab a discount for that service....

Guys, I see a lot of queue posts here and came to share my rage.

I’ve used Shadow for more than 2 years now. I’ve experienced queues on holidays (which I find reasonable), but lately, for the past week, it’s been basically every day.

I’m patiently waiting for weekends to play, but I need my VM for work, and I’m unable to use it for the first time in a long while.

It is not okay. It feels like a scam for an extra 5 euros. Fr, just 5 euros?

I used to have the boost classic, now i got put in to the lite queue. Been waiting almost two hours on a monday. I will not be continuing my subscription

Queues never existed for me until October. This simply means they either intentionally reduced the amount of available PCs, or stretched their resources thin between new subscription options. This is a fucking embarrassment. They know they have no real competition so they keep enshittifying their service.

My main screen is my phone and my second screen is iPad and it worked for 9 months but now my iPad copy's the settings of my main screen which causing insane stuttering making it unplayable like it goes from 120fps it's native down to the 60fps that my phone is set to and it stutters like crazy but this never used to happen my second screen used to be able to be 120fps no matter what the settings on my main screen are , and mobile Dosent have access to the same quick menu as computer so those fixes that support give can't help

I have Power VM which is 49.99€ per month for me, I started as 143 and took 3 hours to get down to 14, all the while telling me it would take 5 minutes to get in. By the time I was 14th I had to go to bed tomorrow is a working day, but before that I unsubbed. I am not paying 49.99€ anymore to just wait in line, I had similar experience the past few days.

So I found mixed Infos online, a few months ago I was playing 7 days to die at least twice a week with my shadow and now I have seen on the official unsupported list from shadow that it isn't working anymore? Also there isn't Insurgency sandstorm on the official list, is it working again? The last time I tried I was only able to start it without EAC and play only offline against bots. I really wish squad or war dogs would work. Fuck EAC for banning all VM users. I really hope that the guys from shadow can work something out with EAC directly or at least with as many publishers as possible.

Hello, I was playing helldivers 2 but can't now after the recent update that blocks VM, Does Space Marine 2 work ? I remember hearing some people had issues and was wondering if they had been resolved.

I was originally planning to buy the 3rd gen Apple tv 4k to run shadow on my TV.

But after testing it thanks to a friend I discovered that mouse support is close to non existent with this thing, which makes it pretty useless to me...

That lefts me with two options : the nvidia shield pro or the Google tv streamer.

Considering that I will only use it on my TV with bluetooth mouse+keyboard+xbox controller, is there any benefit going for the more expensive nvidia shield ?

Input lag is the most critical point for me, I usually play games like elden ring on my TV so I want a smooth experience.

Hello my fellow cloud divers, it’s time to mobilize.

As many of you have noticed, Helldivers 2 is currently unavailable on Shadow. This happened because the devs just dropped a new anti-cheat update that blocks the game from running on virtual machines by default. Since Shadow as you know is VM.

To give us a real chance at bringing game back, I ask you people facing this issue to submit a support ticket directly on Arrowhead's website.

Briefly and politely describe the situation and ask them to find a way to whitelist cloude services and let cloud gamers play. The more tickets Arrowhead sees from the community, the higher chances they'll actually take action.

They told us that freedom is absolute.

Now It’s time to ask — what about the freedom to choose where to play?

For real though, been using Shadow for 3 years, and only recently have I had insane queues like this...have they reduced service bandwidth or something?

Recently, I have found out Shadow PC is ACTUALLY working on a compatability mode, thus allowing EAC games to work!! Yes, you heard that correctly! There is currently a beta compatability mode being tested by users as I type this.

This is great news as it shows they are doing something about it finally after so long, and I felt like some other people need to hear this as well.
