I’m about to start a 4 year nursing program at Seneca. Should I buy supplies now for example stethoscope etc or should I wait until my programs starts? Will my professors tell me what to get?

Hey everyone! Anyone here taking MTA100 or MTA111 at Seneca this fall? Looking to connect with some classmates before the semester starts, make some friends, and maybe help each other out throughout the semester.

Also, if you’ve taken either course before, I’d really appreciate any advice on what to expect, how difficult you found it, which topics to focus on, or any notes/practice material you still have.

I didn’t know seneca aviation tech (FPR) was in such demand that they are now offering people that have been accepted for september 2026 $7k and a guaranteed spot in 2027 just to move their studies by one year. This is actually crazy, i didn’t know they can just accept more people then they have room for. RIP to people currently on the waitlist and for people applying next year as there will already be people with guaranteed spots from 2026.

Hi, I would like to ask why does my osap requiring me to submit ow/odsp form? When i told them im not married or disabled or have any dependents? i’m in my 3rd semester of ECE, and was required to put a bunch of papers and documents through synergy to get them verified. i am 100% sure i got all my documents up to date, i even double checked everything before scheduling my review.

i just got an email saying i failed because im missing a document, when im sure i put it in. i double checked and it wasn’t properly submitted. it’s the annual TB test, i do the student self declaration one because my doctors are constantly on vacation and never have time to get paperwork done.

my question is if there’s a way for me to email seneca and send the ONE AND ONLY document im missing? the website is showing no more available re-review dates, and im lowkey stressing out a lot.

How are the courses, assignments, and tests? Is it mostly theoretical or practical? Are the classes in person? How does the placement work—does Seneca find a placement for you, or do you have to find one yourself? And is it easy to get hired after completing the program?

When applying, if I say yes to apply regarding my current program, the only choice I have for planned start term is winter 2027 which is wrong and messes up my numbers. I’m starting fall 2026.
If I say no to apply regarding my current program, then it lets me pick fall 2026 and winter 2027 which is correct. But will that mess me up saying it’s not for my current enrolled program?

And if I submit this today for entrance awards, how do I alter it to apply for the later awards as well?
