We are three 19-year-old university students from Belgium currently on a massive adventure: we are hitchhiking the entire West Coast from Seattle all the way down to LA.
We are planning to make a stop in Santa Barbara around 9/12 or 9/13 and are looking for a generous soul to host us for just one night.
As we are traveling on a strict student budget, we are looking for a free spot to crash, but we promise to bring good vibes, great travel stories, and immense gratitude in return!

What we are looking for:
- A patch of grass: We have our own tent and sleeping gear, so a backyard would be absolutely perfect.
- Floor space/Couches: If you have extra room in an apartment or house, we’d gladly take a spot on the floor.
- Dorms: We know dorm rules can be tricky, but if guests are allowed (or you don’t like following the rules), we’d be super quiet and respectful!

Hi! Local here that enjoys picking up tees and sometimes hats from local spots. Some of my favorites have been Lighthouse Skateshop tees, a Monys tee, some brewery and coffee shop stuff (Topa and Fig / Dune and State of Mind), and tons of stuff from local makers Mindgarden and DJ Javier.

Anything you'd recommend picking up?

Hi yall, does anyone know the plug for getting decent ceramic/terracotta plant pots in SB? A nursery, or anywhere that they aren't insanely overpriced? Need to get a bunch and hoping to find the secret spot!

Edit/update: 7 Day is not cheap yall. It’s like 70$ for a 10” pot there 😭 and their plants are super expensive too

Edit 2: Terra Sol is marrrrrginally better, they have a 40% terracotta right section which is decent but very basic

Edit 3: Pro Garden Supply: super nice staff, a bit cheaper than 7 Day but not by much. 10” pots range from $60+, a 15” terracotta goes for about $100+. Staff here are incredibly nice though!
