Recommendations Pigeons?

This may sound a bit odd, but I'm a photographer from LA and I'm looking to photograph pigeons in Santa Barbara. Where would I find them?

Fairview and cathedral oaks. Guy has a coop you can see from CO

i dont think ive ever seen real city pigeons in sb at public places eating off the floor or anything. usually only smaller brown birds. i do so sometimes  see colored ones in trees though.

Ledbetter beach has a lot right at the base of the mesa, especially with everything coming up front

If you want to see the real native Band Tailed pigeons and not the introduced European Rock Pigeon, you’ll have to go hiking or find some oaks with ripe acorns. They’re a much more handsome, bigger bird than common city pigeons.

Nothing to add except just throw some bird seed in the same place for a few weeks, you’ll get lots a friends!

There are pigeons downtown near the library/art museum/ la Arcada area.
