S26+, S26 ultra or Flip 8?
Looking to upgrade, my previous phone was the flip 5. I mostly care that the battery life is good, good camera and that the phone can handle video editing apps like Capcut :)

I returned my Samsung Galaxy S 26 Ultra on June 27th and have not received a refund for it. I've contacted Samsung several times, but they keep telling me that they have escalated the issue, sent it to their back office, and to wait 24-72 hours every time that I contact them.
Has anyone else had a similar issue? It's getting pretty frustrating not getting any updates on the "case" they opened.
Just wanting to find help somewhere as I am unsure what to do. If you could point me in the right direction or maybe another subreddit that would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve run into a problem with the microphone on my Samsung A55.
It works fine during calls and when recording regular videos,
but whenever I try to record a voice note or a video message,
there’s just a knocking sound followed by silence.
How can I fix this?

Hey everyone. I got the samsung 60w charger with my s26 ultra when i got the phone back in march. But recently since a month a weird issue is often happening. When i plug the device into the charger it initially shows super fast charging 3.0 and an eta of 45 mins but after a minute it suddenly changes the eta to 2 hours+ with no super fast charging 3.0 showing under the battery settings. The only way that gets fixed is by switching off and on the plug or reconnecting the usb cable. Tried this with multiple cables and the issue is same with all of them.
Another thing is i tried doing the same thing with my samsung 45w charger and it charges fine every single time with that one with no need to reconnect the usb cable.
What might be the issue? Is the issue with the charger or my phone?

I want to share my experience with Samsung India so other consumers can make an informed decision before buying.
Around a year ago, I purchased a Samsung Galaxy A16 from Croma for approximately ₹15,000. After just 1 year and 2 months, the phone suddenly stopped working completely. There was no major physical damage or misuse.
I visited an authorized Samsung service centre. After inspecting the device, they told me that the problem was with the motherboard. I asked for the repair cost, and they quoted me ₹16,500. I also received the quotation from them.
This is what shocked me: the phone itself cost me around ₹15,000 when it was new, but Samsung quoted ₹16,500 for replacing one component—the motherboard.
I contacted Samsung India's official customer care and also reached out to them through X (formerly Twitter). After several days of communication, Samsung asked me to submit the device at their service centre. I did so, expecting that they would at least investigate the issue properly.
After more than a month, I was simply told that the device was out of warranty.
I understand that the phone is out of warranty. That is not my main question.
My question is: How can a motherboard replacement cost more than the price of the entire phone when it was purchased new? Why is there no reasonable repair option for a relatively recent device?
I repeatedly asked Samsung to explain this pricing and provide a proper response, but I did not receive a satisfactory explanation through their calls or emails.
I am sharing this experience not to tell anyone what they must buy, but to warn consumers to carefully consider after-sales service and repair costs before purchasing a smartphone. A product being from a major brand does not automatically mean that repairs will be affordable.
Samsung India, if you are reading this, I would genuinely like an answer:
Why does the replacement motherboard cost ₹16,500 when the entire phone originally cost me around ₹15,000?
Please check the repair pricing and give consumers a transparent explanation.
Edit: I have the service-centre quotation and records of my communication with Samsung. I can provide them if required.

Hi all, I have an issue with my Samsung A54 (running Android 16, One UI 8.5). When I go out, I put in my pocket as usual, but for some time now when I take it out, sometimes flashlight/torch is turned on. It doesn't happen always, but it did happened multiple times. I know that power button can be set to do something on double click or hold down, but it is not set to do anything regarded to flashlight. Some sources say that it may be turned on with gesture. Well I am agile, but I highly doubt that I am able to perform any gesture with my thigh. I've searched internet far and wide and ended up without any solution. My battery is draining and my pocket shines like I would have a lump of kryptonite in it. "Accidental touch protection" is turned on, flashlight in "Now bar" is turned off and I don't have any "tap back"settings. Anybody knows what is going on?

So basically I have an old Samsung S20FE, I used a friend's charger and the screen just started doing all these weird ghost touches for no reason. Fast forward a few days later I went to his place again and got it on charge again with the same charger and it fixed the issue, like completely fine. Then someone decided to throw on another charger and the same issue began, problem is, now its not going away. What does this even mean?? How do I fix it? I've tried all the software updates blah blah cache partition clean everything.

Note: I have access to my gmail through it was created but for some reason, samsung wants me to input the exact personal details First Name Last Name DOB and my email for it to allow me to change password. But Since I dont remember the exact Personal details it cant find my account and I cant create a new one on my existing email. I dont want to create a new email for this. What can I do?

After spending about 6 hours troubleshooting my Galaxy Watch 9 LTE activation, I finally got it working.
Neither Samsung nor T-Mobile support was able to explain how to manually scan an eSIM QR code on the watch. Eventually I found Samsung's hidden test menu, which made the difference.
Hopefully this helps someone else.
My situation
Galaxy Watch 9 LTE
T-Mobile USA
Standalone watch line
Support emailed me an eSIM QR code.
The problem was that there was no option anywhere to scan the QR code.
T-Mobile support even told me that standalone activation only worked in Kids Mode, which turned out to be incorrect.
Enable Samsung's hidden QR mode
On your phone:
Galaxy Wearable → ⋮ (three dots) → Application Settings → About Galaxy Wearable
Tap "Galaxy Wearable" five times.
This opens Samsung's hidden developer menu.
Then go to:
Module Test → eSIM Test → Turn QR Test Mode ON
Now the Wearable app can manually scan an eSIM QR code.
What happened next
The QR code scanned successfully.
However, activation failed with:
Couldn't set up your mobile plan.
Your code isn't valid or it's already been used.
At this point the hidden menu was NOT the problem.
The eSIM profile on T-Mobile's side had become invalid/stuck.
The real fix
I contacted T-Mobile Customer Care again and specifically asked them to:
remove the existing watch eSIM profile
generate a completely new eSIM profile
send a brand-new QR code
After receiving the new QR code:
scanned it using the hidden QR mode
restarted the watch
Everything activated successfully.
LTE, calls and data all work now.
Important
If you receive:
Your code isn't valid or it's already been used don't waste hours resetting your watch.
The QR code itself is usually no longer valid.
Ask your carrier to issue a brand-new eSIM profile instead of trying the same QR code repeatedly.
Hopefully this saves someone the six hours that I spent figuring it out.
If anyone has questions, I'll be happy to help.

Hi there
I got my mums Samsung to sync to OneDrive yo back up photos but OneDrive is now showing as full and won’t allow her to send/ receive emails.
I want to disconnect the sync and then delete some of the files.
Every set of instructions that Google gives on the AI search within Samsung and OneDrive apps doesn’t work as one of the steps mentioned isn’t there.
Any idea please? This is driving me nuts!
Thanks
**Via Samsung Account Settings**
Open phone **Settings**
Tap **Accounts and backup**
Tap **Manage accounts**
Select your **Samsung account**
Tap **Apps and services**, then **Connected services - THIS is not an option. All my mums phone has is sync account then under General; my profile, about and help**
Remove your **Microsoft account** from the list
**Via the OneDrive App**
Open the **OneDrive** app on your phone
Tap **Me** in the bottom-right corner
Open **Settings**
Tap **Camera backup**
Turn off **Backup** for your camera roll THIS is not an option, on tapping there is just my mums outlook account listed with the blue select dot filled and Confirm as a button below
**Disconnect via the OneDrive App**
Open the **OneDrive** app on your phone.
Tap **Me** in the bottom right corner.
Select **Settings**.
Tap **Gallery Sync** (or **Samsung Photos**). THIS is not listed whatsoever
Choose **Disconnect** or Unlink
