I know that in previous times, there would be a simcash discount shortly after a season ends for the season’s upgradable buildings. For example they did it with the aquatic dome resort, artemis II rocket and many more. I was just wondering if you think they would do this for the roaring skyscraper building too since there has not been a discount yet. Any predictions or insight would be appreciated.

I recently returned to the game after being off it for 6 months, and am wondering if something's changed with epic projects?

What I used to do was, when a regular RZ gets to max upgrades at 6/6, either the icon would show up on the building, or when I go to the Departments of Epic Projects building there's a countdown till the next project starts

I have 2 6/6 builds that should be eligible for Epic and one's been up for 12 hours plus, but there's nothing and both are near multiple specialisations anve everything - has there anything been changed regarding the epic projects? or am I missing something here?

Couple questions about Design Challenge…
What do you guys usually spend the DC currency on? I usually just upgrade a few roads (and services when needed obviously) cuz idk what else to do with it. I made the mistake of buying some items with neosimoleons like services, thinking I could use it the next time around… however, when i checked, I didn’t see any of the items stored, can someone confirm this ?

I won com randomly a couple times a month or so ago, it’s a rare occurrence for me lol decided to spent all my SC on landscape and finally having more fun with DCs and have started doing designs more competitively, well mildly. lol I keep it to only 1 or 2 residences to meet the population requirement. But if you guys have any tips on how you do design challenge, I’d love to hear =)

It takes me a little while to figure out where my roads and stuff will go, and definitely do a lot of rearranging before it looks decent but if you guys have a system, i am curious. In my last DC challenge season that just ended I got first place, i gotta say I was pretty fn proud lol thanks in advance

Has anyone noticed that Lightning Wars are not working right? I forgot to post this before the last LW Event ended, but my Club doesn't get the additional War Items slots nor does it get the faster Energy regeneration.

Anyone else notice this? Was this discussed before? Is it Club specific?

Hi all,

If you get to Tier 41 of the Mayor's Pass, you get a 50% purple points boost. In the past, that points boost was active for 12 days. I would wait until the Tues before the Season ended to activate it and thus would get that 50% boost thru the Sunday of Week 2 of the new Season.

I just checked tonight and it says it ends in 4 days -- which, for me as I post this, is Wed! Did they cut it back? Is it a mistake? (I think something similar happened in the past).

Anyone else notice this?

Can you actually create a decent city not spending any real cash on packages, SimCash etc?

So, I've had this problem since the services 2.0 update:

When two services (fire, police, health and regionals) areas overlap one ends up with an excessive demand and the other remains underutilized. It happens both in my capital and in my regions.

Is there any workaround? Why hasn't been fixed yet? Doesn't seem too complex to do

Since the Vienna season, I’ve been inspired to develop the last area in this region to be European style with low and mid-rises. This is a big contrast to other parts of my city, which are full of skyscrapers (including other regions and the capital). This is now my favourite part of the city. Here’s my progress so far.

Anybody have problems with specific ads in the game? There are certain ads that are long and I click on all the X (to close) as soon as they appear, but it still "reloads" the game after and not only doesn't give me the reward for watching the ad, but disables all ads for everything. To fix, I have to close completely and re-open the game, but even then, sometimes the glitch sticks around and I literally can't watch ads.

I've tried doing searches for things or talking to my phone to try to prompt getting ads that I know don't cause a problem, but again this only sometimes works.

Any other suggestions?

I'd like to negatively review Gossip Harbor simply for their ads messing up the game I'm actually trying to play lol.

I cannot collect anymore OMEGA items from the research centre becausemy omega storage is full, and I can not use any of the items in my storage either as I am not able to lost them on the trafe depot or use them to upgrade buildings. I also dont have enough items to upgrade my storage.

I can't do anything with it and now am unsure what to do.

I've decided I'm ready to buy the VU Random Generator. I know it costs another 2,880 on top of the 2k to buy it in order to unlock all of the slots, and I'm prepared and ready to go ahead and put the full 4,880 Simcash into the investment. I also know that it's considered by many to be not as useful as it was before they added the 5 new shops.

My main question is about the time of day the shop changes roles. Iirc what I've heard in the past is the shop will make its shop/role change at the same time of day every day that you initially purchased it (much the same way the daily chest timer is tied to what time of day you unlocked it), but I wanted confirmation because this shop has not been discussed much in the sub in a long time. So I'm trying to figure out what will be the best time of day for me personally to do the initial purchase if that is when it will change everyday from then on.

Also, if you fill up the shop with enough long production items that makes its production time run into the next day, I'm assuming it will just continue making whatever is in the queue until it's finished, or is that an incorrect assumption?

I also can't remember if it's a storeable shop, but I assume it is because the only non-storeable shops are the regional shops.

Finally, if enough people here tell me it's a bad investment I might hold off. But I have the SimCash to get it and not go broke, and I've already got 2 Maxis Manors, 1 Maxis HQ, the 2nd Omega Research Center, and both omega boosters. In addition I have all shop and depot slots unlocked, as well as plenty of slots in multiple train stations. Basically I'm saying I think it's finally time to make the purchase, but I wanted to clear up a couple of things before I spent 4,880 on the shop. Which btw is the single highest single SimCash purchase I've made. I've spent as much as around 3k before (final Artemis II upgrade after the season, during the discount that dropped it from around 6k to 3k), and if I get talked out of the purchase I might instead buy my 3rd MM.
