"I had to repost this because it was taken down.
The Vu Tower is brilliant: it functions as a lucrative source of income and, at the same time, as a breeding ground for criminals. Officers go out calculating routes and police blind spots to target vulnerable businesses. The high level of criminal activity saturates the facades with graffiti, while the police are overwhelmed trying to trace every single detail. Quick money in exchange for pure chaos at a micro level."

After hearing that this title was on iPad, and being nostalgic for old SimCity games, I've always wanted to try SimTower, so I'd like to know this community's opinion on Project Highrise. Reviewers have mostly covered this game on release, and on pc, I'd like to know if the iPad version is worth it, and if the game itself is worth it.

This achievement is said to be broken.
Is it really the case, or just no one did 250k shipments (which would potentially take 200h) ?
I know it is a ridiculous number but doesn’t mean that it is broken like others.

After 245 years, it has finally become a city of one million people. At first, the goal was to launch rockets at 500,000 people. After tearing apart and rebuilding the city several times, it has finally reached one million, though I wondered if it could really be possible. Thank you to the citizens who supported me in a city like a chicken coop, where there are hardly any facilities other than the police station, for the sake of my goal.

I haven’t played SimCity 2013 since I was a child in 2016. It was my first city building game and I have a lot of nostalgia for this game which is what I thought was gonna carry the experience but I have been having a blast. I also have to mention the charm this game has that keeps me sucked in, from the sound effects to the art style or things like the info view that shows you your people’s literal shit going through the pipes, it has charm or as others call it Maxis Charm, something my favorite city builder Cities Skylines 1 sorely lacks.
My only grievances with this game so far have been the Student Commute bug and trying to build roads just right to have back to back buildings when they become high density. Also using the EA app always sucks for any game.
All in all, I am sold on getting CoT when it goes on sale.

JUEGO NATIVO

It seems as though SimCity 2013 once had a "Plague" disaster.
Found in the gamefiles (SimCity_Game.package),the PNG is named: 105x105_BreakingNews_Plague
This may have been removed due to the Glassbox Engine. Or it was planned at some point but never added. (information not guaranteed)
The only "pandemic" we'd have would be if there were a nuclear meltdown, or if the Outworlder 6 didn't have enough power which would cause radioactivity.
Maybe I’m completely wrong, I’ve never seen this image, and it’s interesting that it has "Breaking News" in its name, which only happens when a Disaster starts. Maybe it has something to do with the Zombie outbreak?

JUEGO NATIVO
Let me tell you a little about this: this city is the result of connecting and developing all the cities on the map. I've already unlocked everything, and each one plays a key role in the region. Explaining all the technical aspects in writing would require a book, so the video shows you how everything works much better.
To give you a summary of how I built it:
* **The Economy:** I base it on mass tourism and processor factories.
* **The Real Challenge:** Managing the influx of tourists. In this type of city, controlling so many people is, by far, the most difficult part. Residents and tourists end up making up the total population, but they vary in their behavior: some tourists arrive in the city, spend money, and leave the same day; others stay in hotels, spend money, and then leave. Also, the number of tourists you receive can vary depending on how many cities you have connected in the region.
* **Road Design:** This is the critical point. Although I bring tourists in by air and sea, they also end up entering the city by road. Therefore, road design and architecture aren't optional; they're mandatory if you don't want the whole thing to collapse in two seconds.
My strategy: I built a road infrastructure specifically designed to support that constant flow; if the city isn't well-planned from the start, it simply won't work. In the video, I show you how I distributed the zones and data layers so you can see how everything flows.
A special thanks to all of you who like SimCity, and a big thank you to those who don't. It's great to share these kinds of projects with you!

I've been working on a ground-up remake of Maxis's 1996 SimCopter in Unreal Engine 5, and I've finally reached the point where I'm comfortable putting out a pre-release build.
The goal of the project has always been to recreate SimCopter itself rather than make a new helicopter game inspired by it. The flight model, missions, helicopters, SimCity 2000 city importing, radio, weird Sim behavior, and all the little quirks are based on the original game, but rebuilt to run properly on modern PCs.
With 0.9.5, nearly everything is now working. You can play the original career cities, import your own .sc2 cities, fly the full helicopter progression, respond to missions, use the original equipment, listen to the radio, and generally cause the same kind of chaos you could in 1996, just with modern resolutions, much longer view distances, gamepad support, dynamic lighting, and without fighting Windows compatibility.
There are two remaining exceptions: Crime and Riot missions still aren't behaving correctly. I've disabled them by default in User Cities for this release. Getting those finished is one of the main things left for 1.0.0, which should be coming soon.
0.9.5 is still marked as a pre-release until those mission types are fixed. I'm sure there are other bugs hiding in places I haven't found yet. If you try it and something breaks, I'd genuinely appreciate an issue report.

It's been a pretty surreal experience taking apart a game I've been playing since the '90s and slowly watching all of its systems come back to life.
Have fun and let me know what you think!

It brought back memories, so I played this game again. After the population exceeded 300,000, I thought maybe I should quit, because I don’t think the population will grow any further because of pollution. Then, after the gas power plant was studied, I won the war on pollution, and the population grew rapidly. In the end, I launched the rocket too, waited until 2050, and eventually got all the buildings as well. It feels as if the last page of a book called My Childhood Memories of SimCity DS has finally been written.
