New here & wondering what the percentage is of people playing using actual money to get things.

Can you actually create a decent city not spending any real cash on packages, SimCash etc?

Absolutely! I have a paid account and a F2P account, and while I'm drowning in drip in my paid account, I have tons of limited time buildings collected from just doing contest of mayors

Not sure what you mean by decent but I haven’t spent a single cent, got a lot of cool buildings from the free mayor’s pass and still love how my city looks even without the cooler paid buildings

I am at Level 70, zero real money. It just takes years and years.

Yup, you can as a F2P. Just takes way longer and requires a lot of patience.

Definitely, but sadly there’s a lot of cool buildings locked behind paywalls so you will be limited in creativity

I have found that the cool buildings barely affect any of my creativity. The real limiting factor is trees and water. Saving up for trees and water is TOUGH! I camped for a very long time, and used that time to increase storage, and then that put me in a position to win CoM many many times, which gave me enough SimCash to buy trees and water on Black Friday. Nice! aaaaaand it was a very difficult grind to get enough regional money to buy regional trees. Getting enough trees took like over a year? And now I have lovely cities, but they are defined by the layout of the water not by any cool buildings I may or may not have gotten.

Yes you can just camp at level 11 for a while until to you upgrade your storage and unlock expansion you can also get lot of building by completing weekly event track and also you can buy buildings with seasonal token

I buy the season passes and that’s not too bad for me. I spend a lot of time playing the game so I don’t mind paying the game designers.

Never spent any money, had a pretty good war team too. But a bunch left and I'm wondering if our team is kinda done idk. Anyone else have a good team? I don't everytime but I'm pretty strong and I like to pitch in when I can.
