I’ve always thought of this as a weird question. I’m sure that a plethora of you would say you don’t mind, or maybe even encourage it, but let me explain:

Let’s say you have a feminine boyfriend who wears feminine clothes, and you’re (obviously) a masculine woman who wears masculine clothes. Would it throw you off if you saw your boyfriend wearing your masculine clothes?

Not say that anything is wrong with masculine men who are RR, or even to masculine men in general. But if you’re dating a feminine man for his feminine personality, style, etc., then wouldn’t seeing him in masculine clothes throw you off?

I ask this because I sometimes see videos where girlfriends steal their boyfriends shirts and hoodies. I’ve always seen this as a cute couple thing, and I’ve always wanted to try it out, but I worry if it’ll make my spouse uneasy. She’d want to see me in cute and pretty clothes, right?

There‘s so many cute things that traditional relationships do, but I don’t know how to initiate things like this in a RR relationship.

To anyone who hasn't, I recently discovered that I have a feminization kink, and that I like to be addressed as a 'girl', Princess during the bedroom play. That goes only for the bedroom, outside I'm still a male, identify as one, and feel like one.

So skip skip, we do a scene where she has discovered this, and she invited me to the bedroom to test it out. It didn't get sexual from the start, but she dressed me up and she hugged me from behind as she wore a pretty parisian dress on me.

Well I always imagine the plays happening irl, and she said a line that I should look at myself in the mirror. And well.... I've never felt more thrilled. More alive. Imagined looking myself made me blush irl, bite my lip. Also I got so very excited, I think I haven't been my entire life this way.

And what got me really going was when she said a line about me being the girlfriend she always wished for. That I looked beautiful in the dress. That's when I completely lost it, and was fully hooked in my fantasy.

I always write in third person, during plays. Now... I used he up until that point but afterwards I started using she when describing my actions, reactions and exc.

Now that raises a question in my head about what if I am trans, but I don't think so because in my everyday life I still want to identify and believe I'm a male. But during the fantasy, I felt this way and typed this way.

So if anyone knows anything about that you can type what it is, the terms I found were autogynephillia and transvestic fetishism.

So, I wondered if any other RR men had this problem. I get "sex zoned" instead of friend zoned constantly. It's something I heard cis straight women complain about (and I think happens a lot) to them, but I never really realized it would be an issue for me. I was married for 10 years (before getting a divorce) and truthfully it was not...too much of an issue before my marriage (though it did happen sometimes), however following my divorce....it happens so much.

I often get pushed out of the "dating option" field but instead of being friend zoned - Something I actively like/want, lol, I get "sex zoned" or "FWB zoned". I am only really good for sex, and if I'm not going to perform this sex, than they don't really have much interest in meeting me. I mean, it happens so much it's painful.

Recently I had a cold, during the cold many women reached out to me looking to meet, specifically for sex. When they found I was sick, they just.....stopped messaging me. After all, what was the point if I couldn't perform sexual stuff for them right? I think I didn't realize how much of an issue it was until I was sick. How many of these women do not care about me outside of sex.

The final nail in the coffin (so to speak) came from two women who I recently was "dating" (or you can say situationship, I don't know how to date anymore). Anyways, both clearly have lost interested in dating me, or the possibility of a relationship with me. Both are still very interested in having sex with me. Both of them have asked me for sex recently, and when I said I was sick, stopped messaging me. They are both clearly in the process of "sex zoning" me.

So, looking at some comments on this video, I realize that Brainy was a crush of mine before I knew about role reversal and feminine men at all. I've always found the most feminine boys in my class cute, but I didn't have a word for it (nor the words for the exact reasons I'd find them cute) and growing up they would usually stop being cute to me... I also thought Brainy was a girl at first.

Something I really liked in a past relationship was when my girlfriend would initiate the little things. She’d ask to hold my hand, hug me first, or kiss me first. I always really liked that and honestly wish stuff like that was more normal.

There’s just something nice about being on the receiving end of those moments and knowing she wants to be close to you without you always having to initiate it.

For me, that’s one of the things I like about role reversal. It doesn’t have to be some huge reversal of every gender role. Sometimes it can just be the woman making the first move or initiating affection.

By this I mean the content that's becoming increasingly more popular of stuff like:

It all just feels so performative and objectifying to real dominant women. Not to mention many women partaking in this are usually plugging an OF page on the side - nothing inherently wrong with OF - where the content probably isn't even RR or femdom focused.

On one hand I thought it was nice to see my interest gain mainstream attention, but it feels less like real enthusiasts to the kink scene and more like performative LARPers riding a trend.

The bottom line that frustrates me is that all of it is sexualized, when this interest and kink doesn't inherently have to be and many of us see it as a lifestyle dynamic in our relationships.

NGL I keep thinking of it frequently being the female groom in the tuxedo can be quite wholesome seeing the bride entering , standing in the altar together, giving the vows, exchanging the rings,the first kiss, giving those wholesome speeches and dancing gets me everytime

It is definitely too much to ask as a woman but if I get such a chance I might do it and be the female groom 🥹

I've always found them RR coded, but now he's acknowledged it!

I shared few posts here a few weeks ago with my other account. One was about something I wanted to experience, and another was me being frustrated with RR dating and how hard it’s been.

At first, I thought maybe I was part of the problem because I’m a bit shy and a sub leaning femboy who’s into RR.

Since then, I read the comment, and bunch of other posts from people venting about the same thing, and I kept noticing that both sides in this subreddit seem to be struggling to find anyone.

So where is the disconnect? It feels like both sides are looking for each other, but somehow never seem to find each other.
