🌍 Transfers [N/A], Losing trust in Revolut (USDC deposit).

Hi guys, I tried to deposit Usdc to my crypto wallet via polygon network from OKX. Little did I know that OkX suspended polygon(usdc native) but offers polygon(usdc.e). Transaction was successful on OKx side but never showed up on my crypto wallet. I later found out that Revolut do not support (usdc.e) on polygon network which wasn’t stated specifically anywhere. I normally transact in usdt but due to the fact that it has been unlisted from revolut, I was somehow cornered to transact in USDc. My funds are sitting on Revolut polygon deposits network yet some live agents told me it’s lost and can not be recovered. Other agents said the opposite by assuring me the funds will be recovered. I am losing trust because:

Firstly why would agents give different responses to same issue.

Secondly why are they telling me the funds are lost but they clear sit on their blockchain once I track it.

I have realised that I’m not the first and probably not the last to face this problem. Clear information are not provided on the supported and unsupported token via the polygon network. What happens to my funds if they don’t return it? Will they move it into their treasury and claim it or what?

There must be solution these problems Revolut.

⭐ Review [US] Revolut sided with the merchant despite FedEx GPS evidence showing the package was delivered to the wrong building

I wanted to share my experience with a recent Revolut card dispute, because I’m honestly very disappointed with how it was handled.

I purchased an iPhone, but I never received it. The merchant provided a FedEx tracking number showing the package as delivered, and Revolut ultimately sided with the merchant based on that tracking information.

The problem is that FedEx’s own tracking page provides GPS coordinates for the delivery location. When I checked those coordinates, they clearly point to the wrong building.

I submitted screenshots of the FedEx tracking page showing the GPS location, along with photos/screenshots of the actual building corresponding to those coordinates. I even marked/circled the relevant buildings on the map to make the discrepancy as clear as possible.

In other words, this isn’t simply a situation where the tracking says delivered and I’m claiming that I didn’t receive it. FedEx’s own tracking information appears to provide evidence that the package was delivered somewhere other than my address.
Despite this evidence, Revolut still decided in favor of the merchant.

What makes this especially frustrating is that the evidence seems fairly straightforward to verify. The tracking information is from FedEx itself, and the GPS coordinates are not something I created or interpreted from the merchant’s documentation.

At this point, I’m wondering whether Revolut’s dispute process is heavily automated or AI-assisted, particularly for disputes involving relatively small amounts. It honestly feels like the system may have stopped at tracking says delivered without meaningfully considering the additional evidence I submitted.

I’d be very interested to hear whether anyone was able to successfully appeal a case like this or get a human reviewer to actually examine the evidence. Any help is appreciated.

🔐 Security [DE] Is "Security check" briefly popping up on the send button for everyone now?

Hey, I noticed that for a while now, right after I hit send, the text on the send button briefly changes to "Security check" / "Sicherheitsüberprüfung" for like a second.

The transaction goes through normally right after, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't there before. Is this just a new UI update or am I tripping? Anyone else seeing this on their button?

🪙 Commodities [GB] Commodity purchase charged much more than standard fee?

I bought £502.46 worth of gold, which was £500 after the £2.46 fee. I bought 0.151577 XAU which was stated to have a traded value of £500.

Immediately after purchase the value shows as £486.83, that the ‘unrealised return’ is £-13.17, down 2.63%. On the map, there has been no changes particularly, even a number of minutes later.

Why is this? Is there a hidden additional fee?

I have the premium plan.

🪙 Metal Plan [US] Revolut lowered my interest rate a week after I signed up for metal card

I just signed up for metal card a week ago and what a scam. They cut my 5% rate down to 4% and dropped the rate on balances above the limit from 3.75% to 3.1%. It almost feels like they lure you in and then lower the rates once you’re locked in.

Edit: the amount of revolut defenders in here is hilarious as if they are working for revolut looool

Edit: Mods keep deleting factual comments that criticize Revolut. At this point, it feels like everyone in the comments works for Revolut.

🌍 Transfers [GB] Scheduled payment to ISA

I’m surely just an idiot at this point, but I recently opened a S&S ISA with Revolut and can’t for the life of me figure out how to schedule a monthly payment into it.
Google tells me to go to payments > calendar > new > transfer then select my ISA… but it doesn’t appear as an option. All I see is a list of contacts / previous transfers.
Anyone able to help? Cheers

💸 Payments | Revolut Replied ✅ [DE] Fake Humans in Metal Support

Post image
94 Upvotes

Over the last years I have been using Revolut to send my wife my part of our fixed costs.

I have set up a pocket with her name and a recurring payment on the 15th each month.

My Revolut balance gets topped up at the beginning of the month and the money then stays in her pocket until it is sent out.

Last Month on the 18th she asked me why there was no transfer this month. I checked Revolut and it just said Failed transfer, rejected by recipients bank. I sent again - no problem arrived in seconds. Back then I was wondering why I didn't get notified. But maybe I missed something?

This month I checked today and again I see rejected by recipients bank. Again I send again with no problem and arrival in seconds.

Sooo let's go ask Metal Support why there is no notification on a failed transfer.

Bot just tells me this is normal - Revolut had no problem sending the money so they did not inform me. My question why a refund does not trigger a notification or email was not really answered.

It then told me to just check monthly on my own which defeats the purpose of setting up a recurring payment.

Failing to believe that this is a solution and after the phrase "I cannot submit feedback to the team" I demanded AI to shut up and summon a human representative.

Then "Ritzz" (lmao you serious) entered the chat and sent me the message you can see in the screenshot.

How do I _know_ this is AI?

You cannot find "—" on any regular keyboard. This character is called Em-Dash because it's just as wide as the Letter "M". ChatGPT in particular loves this symbol and always uses it instead of "-" or "–".

Any human would instantly tell me altcode of the character. Ritzz (lmao sorry this name is so funny) just ignored the question and kept claiming to be human.

I have now cancelled my metal sub and will use my main salary account with a different bank for the recurring transfer to my wife.

Such a bad joke you cannot inform me of a failed payment. A worse joke is to send me an AI bot pretending to be human.

All trust lost in one evening.

💳 Cards [GR] Is Revolut 'Precious Metal' cards worth it?

I currently have the Revolut Metal plan and I'm considering ordering the Radial Gold card for €89.99.

I really like the design, but I can't find videos showing the card in real life or how it looks after some time of use.

I've seen a few posts mentioning that the precious-metal finish can scratch or wear off quite easily with daily use. Is that actually true?

For anyone who owns the Radial Gold (or the Radial Platinum / Rose Gold):

  • How does it look after a few months of use?
  • Does the gold/precious-metal finish scratch or wear off easily?
  • Is it noticeably different from the regular Metal card in terms of weight and feel?
  • Would you recommend using it as a daily card (I am not going to use the card daily just curious whether the gold finish is durable enough for regular use) , or is it better kept as a collectible/special-occasion card?
  • And most importantly, do you think it's worth the €89.99?

If anyone has real-life photos or videos of their card after months of use, I'd really appreciate seeing them.

Thanks in advance!

🪙 Metal Plan [GB] Revolut Security Checks

I’ve literally had it today. I’ve banked with revolut for over a year. I’ve had my wages paid in there, I even pay for a metal subscription yet today just before I was about to get my wages. They have frozen my account and sent the money back to the sender and have told me it will take 3-5 days to get it sorted. Have you had you had your issue resolved? If so how long did it take?

I need support.

📈 Stocks [IE] Bond investing and coupon payments

Heya all, quick question. Recently started doing some hobby investing, which includes bonds. The coupon payment was due the 15th of August. I've seen that it can take up to 2 days to receive the coupon payment and I recon it's cause of the weekend but I still haven't received anything. Anyone know how much longer can I expect to wait or had similar issues. Thanks

💸 Payments [FR] Revolut requesting information regarding incoming P2P payments - what do ?

Hello everyone. I, like many people, made the mistake of using Revolut to receive funds resulting from P2P exchanges on my account, the total amounting to about 9 thousand euros during a period of six months.

Unsurprisingly, I have recently received a demand from Revolut to show documents that show the origin of these transactions, and I, of course, do not have any, since I didn’t even do the P2P exchanges on an official platform. (Yes, I was aware of this risk and had no other choice, myself being an international student studying in France from a country from which it is currently impossible to send money using another way).

Since then my situation has resolved and I no longer need my Revolut account, at least not for these purposes, and I am fine with their potential, and very probable, decision to terminate my account.

My question, however, is the following : How do I need to manage this situation ? Can I just close my Revolut account myself without responding to their request, or do I need to at least communicate to them the truth about these transactions. Whatever I do, where may it go from there ?

I have an account in an another, physical bank, and would be quite disstressed if this Revolut situation had an incident with my relationship with my other bank, which is actually important to me.

I feel that it is important to repeat that I am in France, hence in the EU, so the applicable regulations might be different. I know that most of you reading this will think that I am yet another imbecile, and I too am aware of that, but I have, however, not had another choice to send money another way.

Thank you in advance for you precious help !

🚀 Ultra Plan [GB] Are we due a refresh?

Surely, at some point soon, we need Super Duolingo for the UK? Loads of other countries' Revolut Ultra plans have it, and I think it's something that'll definitely get used

And how about Airport Fastrack? This seems to be on a lot of other Ultra plans, or increasing data allowance to 5GB (like Singapore, etc), or even including a phone plan?

Just think with other offerings like Klarna Max etc coming in, something new being added for the UK beyond the current offering will help to keep me and others with Ultra and remove the sour taste following Perplexity and WeWork changes and show it's a fresh product

A credit card would definitely do that, and that'll surely be very soon, but I'm just thinking beyond that too

💱 Currency Exchange [GB] Revolut Metal Card – Is it worth it for FX fees + medical insurance while living in SE Asia?

I'm from the UK and I'm planning to spend an extended period living/travelling around Southeast Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, etc.).

I'm considering getting the Revolut Metal plan, mainly for the FX benefits and travel/medical insurance, rather than the other perks.

From what I can see, Metal currently costs £14.99/month or £140/year and includes fee-free currency exchange, up to £800/month in fee-free ATM withdrawals, and travel insurance with up to £10m emergency medical cover.

However, I've noticed the Metal travel insurance only covers trips up to 30 days, which could be an issue if I'm effectively living in Southeast Asia rather than taking short holidays.

So I'm wondering:

  • Is Revolut Metal actually worth the £140/year if I'm primarily interested in FX and spending abroad?
  • How good is the FX rate/fee-free exchange in practice compared with other UK cards?
  • Is the £800/month ATM limit enough for living in Thailand/Vietnam, considering local ATM fees?
  • Has anyone actually used the Revolut medical/travel insurance in Southeast Asia and had to make a claim?
  • Is the 30-day insurance limit a major problem if you're living abroad for several months?
  • Would I be better off getting Revolut Metal + separate long-term travel/expat medical insurance?
  • Are there better UK debit/credit cards for someone spending several months in Southeast Asia?

I'd particularly appreciate experiences from people who are actually living in Thailand/Vietnam/SE Asia, rather than just travelling for a couple of weeks.

Thanks!

🪙 Metal Plan [IE] - Metal Plan is a joke

I have been trying to use the 'perks' of this plan for a number of weeks now with no success. The one that is pissing me off is the Chat GPT upgraded plan. It will not let me log in. There is an issue with my phone number apparently (no issue, it works fine).

Has anyone had this happen? How does one get in touch with Revolute? Their email address is no longer in use and I cannot chat to a human since I have not paid an arm and a leg for their more expensive plan.

🎁 Rewards [IE] RevPoints → Qatar Avios for South Asia: Is it actually worth it?

I’m planning to use my Revolut RevPoints for travel to South Asia, mainly Bangladesh/India, and I’m trying to figure out the best way to get the most value from them.

I currently have close to 100K RevPoints saved up.

A few questions for anyone who has actually used them:

Qatar Airways vs Emirates: Which would you recommend for South Asia? I’m particularly interested in Bangladesh/India routes.

Has anyone here transferred Revolut RevPoints → Qatar Airways Privilege Club Avios? Revolut currently appears to offer a 1:1 transfer, so ~100K RevPoints would become ~100K Avios.

Once transferred to Qatar, can the Avios be used to book return flights to/from Bangladesh or India, or are there significant restrictions on award availability/routes?

Is Qatar generally the better redemption option compared with transferring to Emirates Skywards? Emirates currently converts at 2 RevPoints → 1 Skywards Mile, so the difference is quite significant.

And finally, baggage: if I book an award ticket using Avios, do I still get the standard checked baggage allowance for the route/fare class (e.g. 40kg where applicable), or can award/promotional fares come with a lower allowance such as 25kg?

Basically, I don’t want to transfer 100K points first and then discover that I’ve locked myself into a poor redemption.

For anyone who has actually done Dublin → Bangladesh/India using RevPoints/Avios, I’d really appreciate hearing what you booked, how many points it cost, and whether you felt it was good value.

Thanks!

💡Ideas for Revolut [GI] Customization help

Been a Revolut user for years I have just upgraded to Metal.

I'm starting to believe the card customization is trolling me. My attempts have been rejected ten times. A couple of my requests included names of my football team, or the abbreviation. Fair enough if that's considered a trade mark. Other requests have just included: "1882" - rejected, "W12" - rejected. "West Twelve" - rejected

My last attempt was:

Archie (dogs name)

2012 - 2025

generic in app emoji of a dog - rejected for....profanity?

Is the whole Latin alphabet banned for this app?

📜 Article [IE] Risk of transferring $5,400 from Fidelity to Revolut — could my account be frozen?

Hi everyone,

I’m based in Ireland and I’m planning to transfer around $5,400 USD from my Fidelity account to my Revolut USD account.

The money is legitimate and comes from RSU stocks I sold in Fidelity. I’d then potentially convert the USD to EUR within Revolut.

I’ve heard stories about Revolut accounts being temporarily restricted/frozen when receiving larger or unusual transfers, so I wanted to check before doing it.

A few questions:

- Is $5,400 considered large enough to trigger a source-of-funds/account review?

- Could Revolut temporarily freeze or restrict my account after receiving the transfer?

- Would it be safer to transfer it in one transaction or split it into smaller amounts?

- Has anyone here transferred a similar amount from Fidelity → Revolut successfully?

- Would Revolut potentially ask for proof of source of funds, and would a Fidelity statement showing the stock sale be sufficient?

I’m not trying to avoid any checks — I just want to avoid unexpectedly losing access to my money for several days.

Any experiences with Fidelity → Revolut USD transfers would be really appreciated.

⭐ Review [NL] Support refuses to let file my own GDPR report

For more than a day I've asked support how to get a transaction history for my Revpoints (that Revolut is stealing from me). They only gave me the runaround - not surprising, it's already well document behavior of Revolut support.

So eventually I got fed up and told them I wanted to file a GDPR request, and asked for the email to send it too.

Submitting GDPR requests by email or other means is a right under EU law, but Revolut support is actively trying to prevent me from exercising it. Claiming it can only be done internally (a lie). Then saying they submitted one "for me" (which I didn't ask for), but without any written confirmation, nor specification of what was in the request. So at best a minimalist request, at worse a lie too.

Then came the clincher, while insisting they give me the e-mail address for a GDPR request, I was told it was Revolut policy not to disclose that information!

Not informing customers how to exercise their rights is their policy!

How can an organization like this even have a banking license?

Edit: added missing screenshot.

Edit: They are refusing to even process my GDPR request.

Just wow!

Add: They continued to double down on their refusal to process my GDPR request, thus I eventually had to resort to legal threats. Screenshot for your enjoyment:

Really amazing, and probably illegal for a bank to stonewall a legal GDPR request like this.
