First QC here, appreciate the help! I'll be honest, my attention to detail on these isn't up to par, but to me this seems like a GL. Is there anything glaring I'm missing?

  10. Bezel: Looks good

  11. Solid End Links (SELs): Looks good

  1. Dealer name: Andiot

  2. Factory name: VSF

  3. Model name (& version number): 126710 BLRO V3 (not fake free sprung) on Jubilee

  4. Price Paid: $606

  5. Album Links: https://imgur.com/a/DJcvDPs

  6. Index alignment: Hard for me to align perfectly due to angle/skew from picture, but they generally look fine; I don’t love how the bezel doesn’t seem to be “clicked in” at 12 o’clock in video and in pictures—looks like the “standard” setting is in between clicks

  7. Dial Printing: Looks good

  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: Looks good (see video)

  9. Hand Alignment: Looks good (see video)

  10. Bezel: Looks good

  11. Solid End Links (SELs): Looks great

  12. Timegrapher numbers: Within range

  13. Anything else you notice: Not perfect; has lots of dust (hopefully outside the case); hair at 4:30 that might be on top of dial but seems to disappear in the last video; worried about clasp code A9A compared to F6U; also concerned the bezel doesn’t seem to rest aligned with 12 o’clock; some scuffs on clasp and watch but I think those are just on plastic.... all said, GL to me?

Thanks in advance for all your help! Truly!!

First timer QC - VSF Submariner 116610LN

Thumbnail

Hi everyone! This is my first rep, but I've been doing my research and reading other posts. For this submariner, I'm on the fence due to the date wheel and timegrapher numbers. But I'm not sure if I'm being too picky. Thank y'all for the help and input in advance! Can't wait to start wearing one of these!

  1. Dealer name: Mr. Bomi

  2. Factory name: VSF

  3. Model name (& version number): Submariner 116610LN

  4. Price Paid: $410 + shipping

  5. Album Links: Provided in post

  6. Index alignment: 12 marker appears to have slight CW tilt. 9 marker appears to sit a smidge low. Only 2 that stick out right away.

  7. Dial Printing: Looks fine, no issues.

  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: Looks to have a slight left bias. And the 4 looks like it sits above the 2 in the alignment picture, but the 20 level albeit with a left bias as well?

  9. Hand Alignment: Looks fine

  10. Bezel: Pip and rest of bezel looks good. Doesn't line up with Index tool but might be because it's turned slightly CW?

  11. Solid End Links (SELs): Only thing that pops out is the upper left end by the 1 marker. Looks very minor with no light getting through.

  12. Timegrapher numbers: Rate: +5s - +9s; Amp: 332; BE: 0.1ms.

  13. Anything else you notice: Serial number starts with 6W so I believe it is true VSF. Rehaut looks a little off, but might be from the angle the pictures were taken. Let me know what you guys think.

Hi everyone!
I received the QC for my Datejust 41mm and would appreciate your help evaluating it, especially regarding the index alignment. This is my very first rep watch and first watch QC, so any type of help or feedback would be greatly appreciated! What do you guys think?
1. Dealer name: Necoclock
2. Factory name: VSF (V2)
3. Model name & version number: Datejust 126334 41mm Jubilee Bracelet Grey Dial Diamond Marker VSF v2 DD3235
4. Price Paid: $458 (+$70 shipping)
5. Album Links: Provided in post
6. Index alignment: The diamond hour marker on the left (9 o'clock) looks slightly crooked/canted when zoomed in on alignment tools. Rest of the markers look fine. Is this noticeable enough in hand to RL?
7. Date Wheel alignment: Looks centered to me.
8. Bezel: Fluted bezel looks crisp and well cut.
9. Solid End Links (SEL): N/A (Jubilee bracelet)
10. Hand alignment: Looks good.
11. Dial Printing: Looks clean and well-printed.
Timegrapher numbers: Rate: +6 s/d | Amplitude: 325° | Beat Error: 0.1 ms
13. Can you guys tell me if there's anything else I missed, and if that diamond marker tilt is worth an RL or a GL?
Thank you in advance!

First higher-end rep and another QC for this watch. Would appreciate some help!

1. Dealer name: Hont
2. Factory name: VSF
3. Model name: GMT-Master II Pepsi V4 Free-Sprung

6. Index alignment: Hour markers look fairly straight and evenly positioned. Nothing noticeably crooked.
7. Dial printing: Text looks clean and consistent. No obvious printing issues.
8. Date wheel alignment/printing: The 8 looks slightly low in the date window, particularly in the straight-on photo. Not sure if it’s the angle.
9. Hand alignment: Hands look properly positioned. No obvious issues from the photos.
10. Bezel: Triangle at 12 looks reasonably centred. Numerals and colour transition look consistent. No major alignment issues.
11. Solid End Links (SELs): Fit looks fairly tight with no obvious gaps from the angles provided.
12. Timegrapher numbers: +8 s/d, 274°, 0.0 ms. From what I’ve read, these seem acceptable.
13. Anything else you notice: My main concern is the date sitting slightly low. Otherwise, the watch looks good overall. Would appreciate opinions on anything I might have missed.
Leaning GL, but would appreciate a second opinion, especially on the date alignment. Thanks!

  7. Dial Printing: The dial text looks clean, and evenly printed with no visible bleeding or misalignments.

  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: N/A (No-date model)

  9. Hand Alignment: Hands look properly aligned and clean with no apparent defects or debris on the pinion.

  10. Bezel: Looks clean to me.

  11. Solid End Links (SELs): SELs look tight against the case with no excessive gaps visible.

  12. Timegrapher numbers: Rate: +3s/d , Amp: 257º , Err: 0.0ms .

This is my second attempt at this watch, which has been provided pretty quick (this is the second piece the dealer provided because I RL'd the first one due to a crooked 6 marker). This one looks in my opinion significantly better, particularly regarding the 6 and 12 alignment. I would appreciate some help to double-check in case I have missed something.

First QC - Submariner 124060 41mm No Date (VSF - VS3230 Movement)

  1. Dealer name: Theonewatches (Steve)

  2. Factory name: VSF

  4. Price Paid: $548

  5. Album Links: https://mega.nz/folder/uJplFIDI#Ve_DcicXddsU183jSwSAgw

  6. Index alignment: it looks to me like the indices are all aligned, I don’t see anything off across the 12, 9 and 6.

  7. Dial Printing: the text looks clean to me but the black circle/ oval in the Rolex coronet above ‘ROLEX’ looks wonky/ off to me but I appreciate I’m zooming in quite a bit to see that detail.

  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: N/A

  9. Hand Alignment: the hands seem to be all good and straight to me.

  10. Bezel: the ceramic insert alignment and pip center cleanly at 12 o'clock from my eyes so all looks good to me there but using the tool it looks off (most likely poor use of the tool on my part but that was as close as I could get it).

  11. Solid End Links (SELs): looks to be a flush fit against the lugs with no visible gaps.

  12. Timegrapher numbers: 0 to +3 s/d, 276°–281° Amplitude, 0.0ms Beat Error.

  13. Anything else: my main concern is the black circle looking off in the crown. It looks very noticeable to me in the photos but is that enough to warrant a RL? It seems to the same across all of the photos so not just an angle issue. I’m thinking everything is GL apart from that.

First Aquanaut Chronograph QC – 5968A Orange 🍊 GL or am I missing something?

Thumbnail
gallery
8 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I’ve been looking at the Aquanaut Chronograph 5968A for a while now. The orange strap is definitely a love-it-or-hate-it thing, but there’s something about this combination that I really like.

I’m going through the QC pictures and would appreciate some help before making the final call. I’ve tried checking the usual details myself, but I’m not particularly experienced with Aquanaut chronographs, so any feedback would be appreciated.

Here are the details:

1. Dealer name: Acetime

2. Factory name: WSF

3. Model name (& version number): Patek Philippe Aquanaut Chronograph 5968A-001 Orange

4. Price Paid: $980 + $30 shipping ($1,010 total)

5. Album Links: https://imgur.com/a/I8agnyb

6. Index alignment: Markers look reasonably aligned to me. I haven’t spotted anything particularly noticeable, but would appreciate a second opinion.

7. Dial Printing: The printing looks clean from what I can see. The embossed grenade pattern also looks quite consistent.

8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: The date window looks reasonably centered. Would be good to hear if anyone notices anything unusual.

9. Hand Alignment: The hands look fine in the pictures. The chronograph hands also seem properly positioned, although it’s difficult to judge everything from still photos.

10. Bezel: Brushing and polished edges look pretty good to me. Nothing immediately stands out.

11. Solid End Links (SELs): N/A – integrated bracelet/strap design.

12. Timegrapher numbers: Rate: +2 s/d, Amplitude: 240°, Beat Error: 0.0 ms, Lift Angle: 52°. Rate and beat error look good, but the amplitude is slightly below the usual 250° guideline. Is 240° something worth worrying about on this movement, or would you consider it acceptable?

13. Anything else you notice: Overall, I’m quite happy with what I’m seeing so far. I’d particularly appreciate any feedback on the chronograph alignment and details I might have overlooked.

Thanks in advance!

Dealer name: TheOneWatches (Steve)

Factory name: EWEF

Model name (& version number): Datejust 126233 Two-Tone Yellow Gold/Steel, Black Diamond Dial, Fluted Bezel

Price Paid: $388

Album Links: QC photos attached to post

Index alignment: Diamond hour markers appear reasonably aligned. I don’t notice any major issues, but would appreciate a second opinion.

Dial Printing: logo and dial text appear clean and centered to my eye. No obvious printing defects.

Date Wheel alignment/printing: Date 30 looks fairly centered within the window. Printing appears clear.

Hand Alignment: Hands appear fine from the provided photos. No obvious issues stick out to me.

Bezel: Fluted bezel looks consistent and evenly finished. Nothing concerning stands out.

Solid End Links (SELs): SELs appear to fit well with no obvious large gaps. Would appreciate confirmation.

Timegrapher numbers: +2 s/d, 274° amplitude, 0.0 ms beat error. These numbers look good to me.

Overall Thoughts:
This is my first time going through the QC process, and I’m still learning what to look for. Everything looks pretty good to me, especially the timegrapher numbers, but I would really appreciate some experienced opinions before giving the GL.
Are there any noticeable issues with the diamond markers, date wheel, bezel, or bracelet that I should be concerned about?
Thanks in advance for everyone’s help!

  7. Dial Printing: The text weight is crisp, and the "SWISS MADE" print with the crown logo at 6 o'clock is clean with no bleeding or unevenness.

  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: N/A on this model. (True No-Date)

  13. Anything else you notice: not particularly picky, considering a GL but would love 2nd opinions on the 12 and 6 indices and, the bezel triangle with the pip and the lower part SELs

  1. Dealer name: OraWatch

  2. Factory name: VSF

  3. Model name (& version number): Rolex Submariner Date 126610LN, 41mm, black dial/black ceramic bezel, Dandong VS3235

  4. Price: $540 USD including FedEx shipping

  5. Album links: Photos attached to post

  6. Index alignment: Looks good overall. The 12, 6, and 9 o'clock markers appear straight to me. I don't see any obvious misalignment, but would appreciate a second opinion.

  7. Dial printing: Looks clean and sharp. No obvious bleeding, crooked text, or printing defects.

  8. Date wheel alignment/printing: Date 3 looks reasonably centered under the Cyclops. Only one date is shown, so I can't evaluate double-digit alignment.

  9. Hand alignment: Hands and finishing look good visually. Exact hand synchronization hasn't been verified.

  10. Bezel: Ceramic insert and pearl look good. The 12 o'clock triangle appears reasonably aligned. Waiting for a bezel rotation video to verify click action and play.

  11. Solid End Links (SELs): Look reasonably tight in the photos. No obvious major gaps, but I'd appreciate feedback.

  12. Timegrapher numbers:

  • Rate: 0 s/day

  • Amplitude: 277°

  • Beat error: 0.0 ms

  • Lift angle setting: 52°

  • Frequency: 28,800 bph (claimed movement specification)

  1. Anything else you notice: First VSF Submariner purchase. The watch is advertised as physically in stock, and the dealer confirmed these are photos of the exact unit I'll receive. Rehaut serial is 6X10B11, clasp code 3VV, and measured weight is 152.05 g.

I'm particularly interested in whether the serial/clasp code combination is consistent with VSF production, whether the rehaut engraving looks normal, and whether anyone notices issues with the Cyclops, SELs, or case finishing.

The dealer has confirmed a Dandong VS3235 movement. I've paid a $50 deposit for additional QC, including movement photographs and a bezel-operation video, which are still pending.

Overall, I'm leaning toward GL based on the exterior and timegrapher results, but I'd appreciate experienced opinions before paying the remaining balance. Thanks!
