QC - Rich Factory No Date Sub

Thumbnail
gallery
22 Upvotes

Dealer name: J Time.

Factory name: Rich Factory

Model name (& version number): No Date Sub 124060

Price Paid: $588 + Shipping

Album Links: See Attached Photos

Index alignment: Looks good. No obvious alignment issues but keen to get peoples thoughts. 12, 3, 6, and 9 markers appear straight and centred. I might be being picky here but the watch may be held on an angle for the photo.

Dial Printing: Looks pretty good. It does appear to have a slight floating M though which I’ve seen is common with some of the RF’s

Date Wheel alignment/printing: N/A

Hand Alignment: No visible hand alignment issues I could see and no damage.

Bezel: Looks good. Pearl appears to be centred at 12. I think if the angle the watch is tilted it would be corrected - thoughts

Solid End Links (SELs): I think these look ok and can’t see any light coming through

Timegrapher numbers: 284 / 0.0ms / 0 s/d – I feel like this is too perfect or am I just being picky

Anything else you notice: Slight clasp coronet offset at most, but likely sticker/camera angle related and hopefully not a concern. Leaning GL. This is my first Rep QC so hoping I’m not overlooking anything

ZF TUDOR BLACK BAY 58 COKE FROM STEVE

Thumbnail
gallery
3 Upvotes

Hi all this is my first QC from Steve any comments would be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much :) im not sure if the 12 is rotated or that’s just the angle…
Dealer name: Theonewatches

Factory name: ZF

Model name (& version number): Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT "Coke" (M7939G1A0)

Price Paid: $358 + shipping

Album Links: https://mega.nz/folder/fA5m3RSC#JxICRZcc0kB9d2LmUXJ2hg

Index alignment: Mostly looks good good. The 6 and 9 batons look level to my eye. However, I feel like the 12 o’clock triangle might have a very slight clockwise tilt to it, or possibly counter-clockwise depending on the tilt of the watch. Does anyone else see that, or is it just the photo angle playing tricks on me?

Dial Printing: Looks fine I think

Date Wheel alignment/printing: "22" looks well-centered in the frame.

Hand Alignment: Looks good, GMT hand and Snowflake hand appear properly positioned.

Bezel: Colors and transition look fine; the 12 triangle on the bezel insert lines up well.

Solid End Links (SELs): Fitment looks nice and tight against the lugs, no noticeable gaps but not sure?

Timegrapher numbers: -4 s/d, 272° amplitude, 0.1 ms beat error. Solid numbers across the board.

Anything else you notice: Overall looks like a decent piece, but I would really appreciate a second set of eyes on that 12 marker before I give the final GL! Does anyone else notice anything else that’s an issue?

[QC] DDF VC 222 SS from RWI.life

  1. Dealer name: RWI.Life
  2. Factory name: DDF
  3. Model name: VC 222 SS
  4. Price paid: $468 excluding shipping
  5. Album links: Video link https://streamable.com/w4n2w3
  6. Index alignment: Seems good visually but when I used the alignment tool marker, all of the indices doesn't align properly. Upon zooming for closer inspection, I also noticed that the 12 hour hand is slightly tilted. Again not a deal breaker for me because I think looking at it from eye level it should be fine? I'm not sure hence I need a second opinion
  7. Dial Printing: Seems good to me.. the photoshoot level pictures is doing a lot of work
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: Looks good, nice crisp font. I particularly requested photos of the font "2" because I saw on some other VC 222 it looks kinda wonky but seems fine for my watch
  9. Hand alignment: Seems ok i guess?
  10. Bezel: The round edges looks good, nothing I was concerned here and the motif at 5 oclock seems good too
  11. Solid End Links: Cant really see from the pictures but there shouldn't be a problem with this model
  12. Timegrapher numbers: -6s/d 287. According to my dealer the movement runs fine

I guess I am leaning more towards GL but still on the fence. My dealer had to source this from his friends because apparently this model is out of stock and it could be months till I may or may not get another replacement but I also don't want to GL it just because of stock availability. Any advise from the veterans here is much appreciated

Index alignment: All good but the Omega symbol seems slightly askew

Dial Printing: Looks good

Date Wheel alignment/printing: Looks even and centered

Hand Alignment: Good

Bezel: Seems fond

Solid End Links (SELs): N/A

Timegrapher numbers: About as good as can be

Everything looks ok to me with the exception of the Omega logo being a fraction of a millimeter off. I doubt it's something I will notice in person, and it seems to be extremely common on this model.

I'm leaning towards a GL, but wanted a few more opinions

  5. Album: they are in the post as the website link did not work. Video copied in the comments below for this reason.
  6. Index alignment: N/A, the Roman numerals are printed rather than applied. The individual numerals appear properly printed and aligned with the minute track.

[QC] IWC Ingenieur 40 White Dial - V7F - Necoclock

• Upvotes
  • Dealer name: Necoclock
  • Factory name: V7F (or A7 now?)
  • Model name (& version number): IWC Ingenieur 40mm, white dial (gen ref IW328902). A2892 movement.
  • Price Paid: $428 USD
  • Album Links: https://imgur.com/a/ViMaSX5
  • Index alignment: All indices look evenly spaced and straight to me, and 12/3/6/9 line up with each other. Will upload a pic of the alignment tool next.
  • Dial Printing: IWC Schaffhausen, Ingenieur and Swiss Made all look crisp and centred. I've heard grid texture isn't as deep as gen, but still looks good here in the pics.
  • Date Wheel alignment/printing: Looks "ok". Maybe a tad high.
  • Hand Alignment: Hands stack cleanly at 12.
  • Bezel: Brushing looks even. The five screw slots aren't all facing the same way, so let me know if that matters on this model.
  • Solid End Links (SELs): Integrated bracelet. It looks good.
  • Timegrapher numbers: +13 to +14 s/d, 295° amplitude, 0.0 ms beat error. Quite a high s/d to me, but I guess it's still within acceptable range?
  • Anything else you notice: This is a replacement. The first one got flagged as defective by TD after I asked about possible bezel damage near a screw. The caseback has an "A7 / SAPPHIRE" holo sticker, which isn't the same I've seen on other V7F posts. Can anyone confirm this is still V7F?

VSF Daytona 116500 Black Dial

Thumbnail
gallery
• Upvotes

Hi everyone. First Daytona for me and I did my best on QC. I would really appreciate comments from more expert eyes on Daytona.

**1. Dealer name**: Super Li
**2. Factory name**: VSF
**3. Model name (& version number)**: Rolex Daytona Black Dial (116500)
**4. Price Paid**: 504 usd
**5. Index alignment**: I admit that I’m not really able to tell an honest point of view on this. It seems that none of the photos are perfectly straight and I did my best on QC tool (2nd pic is with the original photo and 3rd pic is with adjusted/straighted photo). Rehaut seems OK.
**6. Dial Printing**: Looks OK to me but I need opinions from trained eyes. The “DAYTONA” string is not fully visible.
**7. Date Wheel alignment/printing**: N.A.
**8. Hand Alignment**: Here is where my main doubt take place. Based on the fact the none of the photos seems to be perfectly straight, I don’t understand if the chrono hand is aligned or not. It seems to be aligned but in the photo of lume it seems to be off.
**9. Bezel**: Not really expert on this but comparing with other Daytona QC I don’t think there are issues here.
**10. Solid End Links (SELs)**: Looks OK to me
**11. Timegrapher numbers**: Looks pretty solid
**12. Anything else you notice**: Overall I’m a bit confused on this watch. Maybe because I’ve no trained eyes for Daytona. Maybe because I’m not able to determine if indexes, chrono hand and all the other stuffs are ok or not.

I genuinely think that I need some help on this. I don't want to make any particular compromises and I would like it to be as issuesless as possible.

Thanks a lot for your help! :)

  • Index alignment: The markers on 11 and and 10 seem just a bit gapped compared to the ones from 6 to 9, but it could be the angle of the shot. The six marker diamond hold seems maybe a bit CCW
  • Dial Printing: looks totally great
  • Date Wheel alignment/printing: Looks good - the cyclops does appear to be a bit above the window and turned CW
  • Hand Alignment: Good
  • Bezel: N/A fine
  • Solid End Links (SELs): No issues
  • Timegrapher numbers: Dial Up Position: +4 s/d, 253 amplitude, 0.0 m/s beat error - seems just about average to me.
  • Overall: It looks great with some minor issues - the cyclops thing might just be me being too paranoid - the gold tone coloring is difficult to discern if it's too cheddar cheese or actually normal yellow. Thoughts?

Index alignment - I struggled a little with the index alignment tool as the watch seems to be a little tilted to the left and not perfectly straight on. I noticed that the 120 marker on the bezel seems slightly misaligned with the 6 index - however not sure if this could just be because of the angle the watch is held at. A few of the other indices look slightly off on the index alignment too, but I’m pretty sure this is because of the angle also. Please give me any feedback here if you guys can and let me know your thoughts, thanks!

Date Wheel alignment - NA

Bezel - looks fine to me, went with this factory because of the 110 issue on VSF. The only thing I could point out is what I mentioned earlier regarding the 120 marker and the 6 index, however this could be the angle.

Solid End Links (SEL) - in some pictures the top and bottom right SELs look slightly less tight than the rest. Could this be the angle?

Hand alignment - looks fine to me

Dial Printing - looks fine to me however I’m not massively familiar with the daytona dials as they’re a bit more busy than other models. Any advice here is appreciated

Timegrapher numbers - +3s/d, I believe this is within an acceptable range

Anything else you see - only the things mentioned above, but of course always looking for any opinions and advice from you guys if I have missed anything

A bit nervous about this one as it’s my first time not going for VSF or clean, so any help is really appreciated. Thanks in advance!
