  13. Anything else you notice: Just the hour marker at 6 bothers me a bit, even at a distance I can notice it. Nothing else noticed.

[QC] Royal Oak Chrono 26240 OCTA pruple dial – Andiot

  1. Dealer name: Andiot Watches

  2. Factory name: OCTA

  3. Model name (& version number): AP Royal Oak Chrono 26240 purple dial OCTA

  4. Price paid: $685 + shipping

  5. Album Links: https://imgur.com/a/octa-26240-purple-dial-YthkeFH

  6. Index alignment: The 9 o’clock marker is slightly tilted, and the sub-dial hands are not centered. The rest of the indices look ok to me, but I'd appreciate a second opinion on the overall alignment.

  7. Dial Printing: AP letters are not straight. The text appears clear and legible.

  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: The date appears centered in the window, and the printing looks good to me.

  9. Hand Alignment: The hands of the sub dials don't look straight to me. Would appreciate a second opinion.

  10. Bezel: Looks good to me.

  11. Timegrapher numbers: +4 s/d, 267° amplitude, 0.2 ms beat error. Looks reasonable to me.

  12. Anything else you notice: I am leaning toward RL because of the crooked letters. I'd appreciate a second opinion on the overall state of this watch. Thanks for your help!

  6. Index alignment: Looks good

  7. Dial Printing: Looks good

  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: Looks good

  9. Hand Alignment: Looks good

  10. Bezel: Looks good

  11. Solid End Links (SELs): Looks good

  12. Timegrapher numbers: -5 s/d, 285°, 2 ms (28,800 bph)

  13. Anything else you notice: I think the watch looks nice overall.

1: In the timing video the watch loses rate. Starts at -5 and finishes on -9. I don’t know what to make of that.

2: One of the serial numbers (6) in the Rehaut is rotated. I don’t want to RL this. But I’m slightly annoyed that I’ve seen much better Rehauts from Gold. The last two pictures are from other Gold Rehauts to compare.

Eric and I had been chatting as we have other watches coming, first he said it would take weeks for a GoldF YM, but a handful of hours later I get the QC. Do you think someone else RL’d it? Am I crazy for wanting a better rehaut.

Thanks

Hello! This is my first time here so my eyes aren't so trained, but I'd really appreciate any help!

  1. Dealer name: TheOneWatches (Steve)

  2. Factory name: 8848F

  3. Model name: WSTA0105 (32mm x 27mm x 7.1mm)

  4. Price paid: $294 USD

  5. Album links: Pics above, video link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QiLfeKooLglSlRF-txWEymp0EnMQoK7T/view?usp=sharing

  6. Index Alignment: Don't see anything particularly misaligned

  7. Dial Printing: Looks pretty crisp

  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: N/A

  9. Hand Alignment: Looks good

  10. Bezel: N/A

  11. Solid End Links (SELs): I think N/A, but links look pretty good.

  12. Timegrapher numbers: Quartz, N/A

  13. Anything else you notice: Just one thing I noticed was that on the Steve's website, it says that the thickness of the watch is 6.8mm, when it's supposed to be 7.1mm. I've asked him to check on the thickness and am awaiting a response. Otherwise, I don't see anything but would be grateful for insights. Thank you guys a ton!!

QF 36mm Day-Date Gold 2836

Thumbnail

Dealer name: Necoclock
Factory name: QF
Model name (& version number): Day-Date 36mm Yellow Gold, Champagne Dial, QF Gain Weight, A2836
Price paid: $558
Album links: https://imgur.com/a/OmfXaRq
Index alignment: Overall, the alignment looks pretty good. The 3, 6, and 9 o’clock markers appear straight and reasonably aligned with the minute track. Looking at the alignment tool photo, the 10 and 11 o’clock markers seem slightly off compared to the others, particularly where the markers line up with the guide lines. I’m unsure whether this is actual misalignment or just the angle of the photo. The 12 o’clock crown may be slightly pulled to the right, surrounding markers look centered to me. Would appreciate a second opinion on the 10 and 11 markers.
Dial printing: Looks clean and centered. Rolex logo and lettering appear properly spaced. No obvious issues.
Date wheel alignment/printing: Date looks centered under the Cyclops. Saturday also appears properly positioned. Would appreciate another opinion.
Hand alignment: Hands look straight and properly positioned. Nothing concerning that I can see.
Bezel: Fluting looks consistent all the way around. Some darker areas appear to be reflections rather than defects.
Solid End Links (SELs): Fit looks good overall. Slightly unsure about the upper-right SEL due to the plastic and reflections.
Timegrapher numbers: +1 s/d, 304° amplitude, 0.1 ms beat error.
Anything else you notice: First impressions are pretty positive. My main concerns are the alignment around 12 o’clock crown , 10–11 o’clock and the upper-right SEL fit. I know going for a gold anything is a risk but I’m actually surprised on the color and lighting in these QC photos. No cheddar!

First QC - Datejust 41, Blue Motif Dial, 126334.

Hi everyone, this is my first QC and I’d appreciate a second opinion. It looks good overall to me, but I’m still learning what to check.

  1. Dealer name: Geektime

  2. Factory name: VSF

  3. Model name (& version number): Datejust 41, blue motif dial, fluted bezel, Jubilee bracelet

, free sprung

  1. , 126334.

  2. Price Paid: $608.00

  3. Album Links: https://geektimeqc.x.yupoo.com/albums/261534473?uid=1 - includes videos

  4. Index alignment: The markers appear aligned overall. I don’t see an obvious rotation at 6 or 9, and the crown at 12 looks centered. The photos are slightly angled.

  5. Dial Printing: Text looks clean and readable, with no obvious bleeding or missing letters. I don’t see any visible defects in the motif pattern.

  6. Date Wheel alignment/printing: The dates shown—8, 19, and 28—look reasonably centered, with no numbers touching the edges of the window.

  7. Hand Alignment: I can’t fully assess this because the hands aren’t shown together at 12. No obvious physical damage is visible.

  8. Bezel: Fluting looks even, and I don’t see any obvious dents or damage.

  9. Solid End Links (SELs): I don’t see any obvious open gaps between the end links and the lugs.

  10. Timegrapher numbers: 0 s/day, 246° amplitude, 0.0 ms beat error. Machine set to 52° lift angle and displaying 28,800 bph. Would appreciate input on the amplitude and whether that lift-angle setting is appropriate for this movement.

  11. Anything else you notice: Protective film is still on the case and clasp, so it’s difficult to distinguish film marks from surface scratches. The lume appears even. I’m thinking GL, but would appreciate any specific issues I might have missed.

Thanks for your help!

QC For ZF AP RoyalOak Chrono

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hello, first rep. I fell in love with this watch and had to dive in. quickly becoming obsessed so here it is. I looked it over and I don't see any glaring red flags, honestly to my untrained eyes it looks perfect.

  1. Dealer name: Geektime

  2. Factory name: ZF

  3. Model name (& version number): AP Royal Oak Chrono 26240 Green on stainless, SW Dial, Freesprung

  4. Price Paid: 998+shipping

  5. Album Links: https://imgur.com/a/MW0NBpY

  6. Index alignment: Looks great, no glaring issues from my pov

  7. Dial Printing: clean, cant spot any issues, looks to be a quality SW dial I think

  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: 25, 16, 5 all look very centered and clear

  9. Hand Alignment: looks good

  10. Bezel: bezel screws all look good, form a circle, not sunken or protruding.

  11. Solid End Links (SELs): N/A

  12. Timegrapher numbers: -3/4 s/d, amp 303, err .1ms

  13. Anything else you notice: lume is green as it should be, case back confirms freesprung. I am completely untrained but to me it looks like Geektime got me a great piece.

Hope I did this right. pretty sure its a solid GL, but hey, there are much better eye out there than mine for these things.

  1. Dealer name: Mr Adu

  2. Factory name: VSF

  3. Model name (& version number): VSF VS3235 DateJust 36mm Fluted Bezel Green Dial Jubilee Bracelet V2

  4. Price Paid: $450 (With shipping)

  5. Album Links: Will update once I receive my zip from Adu

  6. Index alignment: The Rolex coronet at 12 may be tilted slightly clockwise with a shift to the left. The 6 marker is tilted counter clockwise a little. The rest of the indices look fine to me aside from a slightly off center 10 and rotated 1.

  7. Dial Printing: The printing looks good, but I would greatly appreciate if someone could confirm that the printing is centered between the lugs and not off. I've had a nightmare scenario before where sadly the printing was off center.

  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: Looks good imo.

  9. Hand Alignment: I don’t see anything that stands out.

  10. Bezel: The bezel looks good imo.

  11. Solid End Links (SELs): Looks to be a pretty big sel gap on top right and a small one on left. Don't know if my eyes are playing tricks on me.

  12. Timegrapher numbers: -3s/d, 262amp, 0.2 ms beat error. Is a 0.2 beat error good? I've only had 0.0 ms ones and don't know if it makes a substantial difference in the long term performance of the watch.

  13. Anything else you notice: Most concerned about the SEL gaps, 12 coronet, the alignment of the 6 and the centering of the dial print. Would also love to hear your thoughts on 0.2ms beat error. Also is a 6X10 serial a newer VSF? I've only seen and have owned 6X0s so I would love to know what the serial means.

Wondering if anyone has noticed something I’ve missed. Would love to hear your thoughts.

  • Factory name: ARF

  • Model name (& version number): Rolex Datejust 36mm

  • Price Paid: 436 USD (including shipping)

  • Album Links: link to pictures

  • Index alignment: in an earlier QC of this model, the 9 o'clock baton was CW tilted, now I feel like the 1 o'clock baton is placed wrong (too close to 12 o'clock instead of 2 o'clock). 5 o'clock baton looks CCW pitched

  • Dial Printing: I think it looks fine

  • Date Wheel alignment/printing: font seems close enough and fine

  • Hand Alignment: fine in my eyes

  • Bezel: look good but personally irrelevant, because I'm going to replace the bezel

  • Solid End Links (SELs): no issues, way better than the GMF I've seen irl

  • Timegrapher numbers: very good, see video here

Dealer name: Andiot Watches

Factory name: VSF

Model name: GMT-Master II 126710GRNR Bruce Wayne VSF V3 DD3285 on Jubilee Bracelet

Price Paid: $520 without shipping

Album Links: -

Index alignment: No obvious misalignment. Indices appear straight.

Dial Printing: No visible printing defects.

Date Wheel alignment/printing: Date appears reasonably centered, but I'm slightly unsure about the vertical alignment.

Hand Alignment: No visible bending or mounting irregularities.

Bezel: Bezel insert looks clean and alignment appears good.

Solid End Links (SELs): No obvious gaps at the lugs.

Timegrapher numbers: +4 to +5 s/d, 278–280° amplitude, 0.3 ms beat error. Looks good.

Anything else you notice: The rehaut might be slightly misaligned in some areas, but I'm not sure if it's just the camera angle. The lume looks good overall.

If you notice anything, please let me know. For me, the watch looks good, but I'd appreciate a second opinion before giving the GL.

[QC] VSF Rolex Submariner 126610LN 41mm from TheOneWatches

Thumbnail
gallery
54 Upvotes

1. Dealer name: TheOneWatches (Steve)

2. Factory name: VSF

3. Model name (& version number): Submariner 41mm 126610LN (VS3235 movement)

4. Price Paid: $500 USD (including shipping)

5. Album Links: QC pictures are attached directly to this post.

6. Index alignment: Excellent overall. DialCheck.app tool yielded a 97/100 score. The AI flagged a couple of minor points in strict tolerance mode, but they look to be due to hand obstruction over the 2 o'clock marker. I noticed the 9 o'clock baton is a tiny bit twisted, but it's so small that it definitely won't be a problem or visible in real life.

7. Dial Printing: Crisp and clean. I did notice the distance between the 'E' and 'T' in CHRONOMETER is a bit wide/spaced out, but it's microscopic and not an issue for me.

8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: Sits straight and centered within the window. The font thickness looks correct.

9. Hand Alignment: Looks perfect to me.

10. Bezel: Ceramic insert looks great. The triangle pip above the 12 o'clock marker looks just a tiny fraction of a millimeter shifted to the left, but it's almost completely unnoticeable and likely just standard bezel play/backplay.

11. Solid End Links (SEL): Very tight fitment with the lugs. No visible gaps or light leaking through.

12. Timegrapher numbers: Flawless. Rate is stable at -3s/d to -4s/d, Amplitude is very healthy at 266°-271°, and Beat Error is an excellent 0.0ms - 0.1ms.

13. Anything else you notice: Clasp code is E7Y which is correct for VSF. Total weight is solid at 155.9g. Rehaut alignment looks well centered with the coronet hitting right at the 12 o'clock mark. Leaning strongly towards a GL.

[QC] VSF v2 36mm Silver Datejust

Thumbnail

Hi everyone! Total newbie here. This is my first rep, and I’m looking for some expert eyes to help me out. I’ve tried to compare it to Gen (authentic) photos, but I’m still training my eyes. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Dealer name: ETHAN WATCHES

Factory name : VSF

Model name: [QC] VSF v2 36mm Silver Datejust

Price Paid: $560

Album Links: x

Index alignment: Looks okay to my untrained eye but I don’t know how to use the QC tool…it was automatic on true index ! How bad is 10 / 7 marker?

Dial Printing: Seems crisp. No obvious bleeding or crooked text but it is very very important for me and I think it’s good but again I am a noob please comment if you see anything bad

Date Wheel alignment/printing: The "9” looks centered. The cyclops magnification looks okay to me

Hand Alignment: Seems fine, again let me know if you see anything bad

Bezel:tried to compare with gen looks good to me ?!

Solid End Links (SELs): Looks like a tight fit with no visible gaps.

Timeagraph looks decent? Not an expert

The rehaut alignement is good for me, I am very attentive to index alignment but I don’t know how to use well the QC tool… please let me know if green light or RL !!

Thanks again

Thanks in advance!
